My first blackberry, it was so stylish and so beautiful. I lost mine a couple years ago but im so in love with this phone (even though its software and everything is pretty much outdated ) that im gonna buy this phone again Tomorrow. Already ordered, getting it tomorrow 1PM GMT
The main problem with Blackberry is there marketing. We don't see any Blackberry commercials whereas we see Apple, Samsung, and Motorola commercials all the time.

The evident mix of apps missing was also what ended up killing them. This was a stupidly intuitive phone and it just looked so good. Half of these features have been stolen and implemented into iOS and Android.
Never owned one of these devices myself but my stepfather did and he seemed to really enjoy it. It is kind of crazy to me seeing how small this device is compared with what modern phones are like.
The BlackBerry Z10 in white is still one of the best looking smart phones to date. Now looking forward to the highly innovative Slider BB10 smart phone.
I just bought this phone today.. as my secondary. Still playing around with it as we speak to get used to it and all I can say is that I really like the feel of it. Feels very solid. As for anything else.. well I'm not sure lol still figuring it out
It's been a few years since I've had a Blackberry. I've seen a few of the Z10 reviews online and I must say that they did a pretty good job with it. With that said, I think this Z10 will keep BB users with the brand but I don't think it's bringing anything game changing where an Apple or Android user would have to switch to it. This white version of the Z10 does look really good though.
Have been using the Z10 for almost 3 years now. It's the best phone I have ever had! Performance is still on top! I have never had a phone this long. The only thing that is becoming kinda "outdated" is the 1,800mAh battery - it get's me through the day, but it would be nice to have a bigger one which would get me through a day & a night! ;)
run fun Hey! What update should have messed it up? The very first versions (10.0 & 10.1) were still buggy. But that's a thing of the very, very, very beginning (in 2013). After 10.2.1 with every update it ran smoother and the runtime for Android got better. Now we are at 10.3.1 - and it's the best version so far. It has a battery saving mode (which gives you about 25% more battery life) and the browser got more security features - which makes it to most secure browser ever. In March version 10.3.3. will be released which includes the highest possible standards of security (government standard) and in fall 10.3.4 will follow. So don't worry about those "horror" stories. ;)
Siddharth Ramadass It depends on your needs. The Q10 has an awesome battery life and keyboard - the Z10 has a big, crisp display. Can't really tell you which device would be better for you?
Hands down the best Z10 review on RUclips. 10/10! I just bought one on Amazon here in the UK for £163.00 which is less than 1/2 the price of an iPhone 5!

Its a nice phone. I hate that black berry is in the state its in now.. And I wonder about the coverage.. I hope they make a return, bc I like their phones. The last phone they released was the Storm and I was impressed with it, even though its been 6 yrs since then.. Its always been a sleek, class and practical phone that is user friendly.. I could see them competing with Apple and Android in the future if they continue to make phones like this.. I really like the simple, sleekness about it.

Don't get me wrong Blackberry is a heck of a good phone, premium build, competition hardware and all. for Blackberry to take a leap of faith to android just might be what the doctor ordered. remember these days its not the loyalty that counts, its the App stores. I like what they are doing now with the whole android app integration to their OS 10.2.1.
Well I get your point. Maybe we just have different perceptions about the BB. BTW, some android apps can now be run into the blackberry 10.2 os, which I think a good step for them. Blackberry will not defeat ios and android, that's already given mate, I think that what BB is trying to do is for them to somewhat catch up their sales and to meet their targeted market. I quite like these phones. It's a shame BB is struggling at the moment, because Blackberry's OS is pretty solid and feels a lot more responsive than Android or iOS. It's also WAY more secure. Unlike the old BB phones, the battery doesn't last all week though :D
You can't count Z10 running Android apps.. because android apps are so slow on Z10, and notifications are shity from android apps on Z10. I have Z10 for about 3-4 months and this is the bigest mistake I made. Still mad on myself.. So, if you can put some more money and buy Nexus 4, buy it! It is another world for S4 Mini and Z10. Peace.
Do you want a cheap smartphone that runs android that has all the apps and customisation you can think of? Or do you want a more sophisticated phone that is mainly used for emails and communicating with not many apps? It all comes down to what you desire in a smartphone. For me personally, I would buy the Moto g, as it has a slightly larger screen, more apps and games and I can customise my phone more. If that doesn't matter, I'm sure the Z10 will deliver a great experience.

Excellent Review! Longtime Blackberry User and the Z10 is very different from all prior BB Versions. Your Video (amongst several that I watched) was by far the most educational. One Con on the Z10 is the method in which you answer phone calls. The swipe down method takes a bit getting used to.
the latest update for the Z10 - 10.2, is a fantastic update with a lot of improved features, and the next update that which will be out hopefully sooner then later will give more access to more android apps. this phone is really coming into its own. Like to these guys give an update on the new update.

I nearly got this phone!! But since I had always had touch screen phones, I wanted a qwerty phone... bad decision. I chose the curve 9320 and regret it everyday. Take my advise and if you are debating over a touch screen or qwerty - go for a touch screen because in my opinion they are more reliable. Just a hint ;) x
Blackberry went from controlling 50% of the cellular phone market just a few years ago to hanging on by a thread today. I haven't had a chance to play around with this new phone but it looks pretty cool. I hope they can somehow bounce back even though i don't think they will.

have had mine Since March too. Awesome phone and Secure! Using the activesync for my mail/calendar/addressbook/tasks plus a few other apps. Will be getting the Z30 next month!
Also, the option to take panoramic shots are way better than in Android phones and iPhones today. You just pan the camera to the square to make a sequence, instead of continuously rotate your phone which it can produce some errors like misaligned shots and more of that.
Just got my z10 today after being an android user for 4 years. People dismissing this phone due to blackberry's reputation really are missing out. What it doesn't have in apps MORE Than makes up in usability, performance and social integration. The multitasking is the best on any phone at the moment. Never before have i been able to switch from a game, to my facebook, to the browser and back to a game without as much as a hick and without the game actually closing. The app store is always improving too.
mona zeb It all depends on what you want. If you want a huge array of apps more than anything go iphone. If you want a phone with very good social integration where all your facebook messages, emails, text messages are together along with seemless multi tasking. Go Z10. Both operating systems are rapid fast and both have almost identical screens. The blackberry app selection is also growing day by day. Other than the app store, I'm struggling to think of a reason to pick the iphone over Z10. (not to mention the iphone costs 5 times as much as the z10 now)
Thinking on getting one tomorrow, only need few core apps and music player (is it good?), it has a budget price but great specs and build quality from what i see here, seems perfect for my needs!
ScGendo Yeah its great, everything just works really well helped by a decent processor and massive 2GB RAM. It has a lot of big name apps and with the blackberry 10 OS being new, more and more core apps are being added all the time. I'd say the app store on it has overtaken the windows app store right now. The size is also perfect too. If you thing the iphone is still too small and androids are too big, this will be perfect for you.
As far as battery life goes, they're about the same with regular use, the advantage is that the Z10 has a removable rear cover and you can upgrade the memory via MicroSD or swap out battereis. LTE is incredibly faster than 3G. Also I think the blackberry has built in software that allows you to save youtube videos, but i'm not entirely sure.

The only reason the BB struggles with apps is bc the system it uses isnt really integrated in the American market. Itunes and Google Play store currently has a grip.. But the phone itself is nice.
I have played on this phone, and as it is more of a business phone, its not actually necessary to push it to a qaud core, also even though there are apps available games are rarely used as most consumers are mostly going to be buisness buyers its a slow moving phone in the sense that as it is all gesture based it doesn't need to be snappy as it isnt jumping through apps and pages. it works just fine
i think blackberry now brought us the most amazing cellphone ever made by blackberry.because for just a year blackberry didn't make any cellphones and complete their researches for make a great mobile.yeah it's seems like a cheap iphone but it's a great step for blackberry that make a different device to challenge the giant monsters like iphone or samsung or... so i offer this cellphone to persons that haven't enough money to buy higher cellphones

the latest update for the Z10 - 10.2, is a fantastic update with a lot of improved features, and the next update that which will be out hopefully sooner then later will give more access to more android apps. this phone is really coming into its own. Like to these guys give an update on the new update.

I nearly got this phone!! But since I had always had touch screen phones, I wanted a qwerty phone... bad decision. I chose the curve 9320 and regret it everyday. Take my advise and if you are debating over a touch screen or qwerty - go for a touch screen because in my opinion they are more reliable. Just a hint ;) x
Yeah i agree. I had the z10 and traded it for the HTC One. The z10 isnt a bad phone but the HTC offers more features and it has more app support.
Blackberry went from controlling 50% of the cellular phone market just a few years ago to hanging on by a thread today. I haven't had a chance to play around with this new phone but it looks pretty cool. I hope they can somehow bounce back even though i don't think they will.

I had. Blackberry torch 9810. I wasn't really that happy with it but this new blackberry looks really impressive compared to the recent blackberry phones... Do you think it's worth getting this phone?
have had mine Since March too. Awesome phone and Secure! Using the activesync for my mail/calendar/addressbook/tasks plus a few other apps. Will be getting the Z30 next month!

Literally me. I’m currently an iPhone user and I used the Z10 from 2015 to 2018 until I bought an Android phone in May 2018.
Also, the option to take panoramic shots are way better than in Android phones and iPhones today. You just pan the camera to the square to make a sequence, instead of continuously rotate your phone which it can produce some errors like misaligned shots and more of that.
i got my new blackberry z10 today, and i love it
Just got my z10 today after being an android user for 4 years. People dismissing this phone due to blackberry's reputation really are missing out. What it doesn't have in apps MORE Than makes up in usability, performance and social integration. The multitasking is the best on any phone at the moment. Never before have i been able to switch from a game, to my facebook, to the browser and back to a game without as much as a hick and without the game actually closing. The app store is always improving too.

mona zeb It all depends on what you want. If you want a huge array of apps more than anything go iphone. If you want a phone with very good social integration where all your facebook messages, emails, text messages are together along with seemless multi tasking. Go Z10. Both operating systems are rapid fast and both have almost identical screens. The blackberry app selection is also growing day by day. Other than the app store, I'm struggling to think of a reason to pick the iphone over Z10. (not to mention the iphone costs 5 times as much as the z10 now)

Thinking on getting one tomorrow, only need few core apps and music player (is it good?), it has a budget price but great specs and build quality from what i see here, seems perfect for my needs!
ScGendo Yeah its great, everything just works really well helped by a decent processor and massive 2GB RAM. It has a lot of big name apps and with the blackberry 10 OS being new, more and more core apps are being added all the time. I'd say the app store on it has overtaken the windows app store right now. The size is also perfect too. If you thing the iphone is still too small and androids are too big, this will be perfect for you.
As far as battery life goes, they're about the same with regular use, the advantage is that the Z10 has a removable rear cover and you can upgrade the memory via MicroSD or swap out battereis. LTE is incredibly faster than 3G. Also I think the blackberry has built in software that allows you to save youtube videos, but i'm not entirely sure.
Sedih melihat blackberry saat ini. Padahal saya salah satu penggemar blackberry. Sampe saat ini saya masih menggunakan 2 blackberry untuk kebutuhan kerja harian saya. Yaitu bb onyx 2 dan 9810 torch 2 OS7. Saya belum beralih ke bb OS 10 karena penggunaanya yang lebih susah dari bb OS7. Saya juga menggunakan note 2 untuk menjadi perangkat hiburan saya. Bb os 10 saya anggap gagal karena aplikasi yang sangat minim. Kakaotalk blum ada. Dan masih banyak lagi. Blackberry seharusnya segera menggunakan OS android supaya bisa bangkit berdiri tegak lagii. I luv blackberry
The only reason the BB struggles with apps is bc the system it uses isnt really integrated in the American market. Itunes and Google Play store currently has a grip.. But the phone itself is nice.

I have played on this phone, and as it is more of a business phone, its not actually necessary to push it to a qaud core, also even though there are apps available games are rarely used as most consumers are mostly going to be buisness buyers its a slow moving phone in the sense that as it is all gesture based it doesn't need to be snappy as it isnt jumping through apps and pages. it works just fine

i think blackberry now brought us the most amazing cellphone ever made by blackberry.because for just a year blackberry didn't make any cellphones and complete their researches for make a great mobile.yeah it's seems like a cheap iphone but it's a great step for blackberry that make a different device to challenge the giant monsters like iphone or samsung or...
