One of the most comprehensive Nexus 5 reviews I've had to date - you've put everything a potential buyer needs to know - awesome job. The black one definitely looks better and won't show as much dirt in the long run. I just bought the new Nexus 7 2013 tab and am replacing my BB 9900 with the Nexus 5 - black would keep tab and new phone matched color wise.

The Nexus 5 can exhibit some lag which might be an optimization issue with the latest version of Android, but it's by far the best Android experience with regard to speed and performance of the OS. The iPhone 5s is virtually lag free, but iOS 7 can feel a bit slower thanks to the animations. The Note 2 is horribly laggy from my personal experience.

If u want new versions of android come quickly in ur phone go 4 nexus 5 ( google promises atleast 18 months of updates) or if u r ios fan #iPhone5s will do good as the device is quite in need in the market

Most likely because the phone was doing a quick refresh of the page to make sure all the information was up to date. Would you prefer the screen to go grey in that time like it does on your pc and you would just have to wait for it to load? Also, this method probably saves on network downloads as it will only re-download images which need to be updated (albeit some phones do store a cache to view the webpage when not connected to the internet)
I just bought the white one, there is that difference of the textures but all around I think the white phone kicks ass, and I agree with the Barbara Stavrou, it looks like a stormtrooper!!
Justin Kreule Actually it is not named after screen size. Nexus 4 was the 4th nexus in the line and 5 is the fifth. NExus one was first Nexus S was second nexus Galaxy nexus was 3rd. And since the nexus 4 it goes by iteration
I prefer white one. It is not as boring as black one since most of the phones on market tend to be black. I love the ear speaker grill in white that gives this phone a unique look setting apart from other ones. Nice video, thank you!
Stormtrooper white:) because the glossy bezel matches the screen more and because of the stain resistant material on the back which still feel really soft. White just looks more sleek.
I prefer the white Nexus 5. In my opinion, it looks more premium due to it's unique build. The ceramic buttons are a nice touch, although the edge of the volume rocker is a bit sharp.
Really really like the black one, because it just looks awesome and much more premium and actually like a phone that costs way more :). I am considering this to be my next phone... i do however dislike that camera lag and slow autofocusing :(
getting one next week for 10,000 PKR(equivalent of $100 US) I think its a steal at this price point and has crazy good developer support. Lots of roms so good for my channel

I'd probably go with the black for the feel and the build quality. But the "Stormtrooper" look of the white is pretty damn cool. Looking forward to comparison reviews with some of the other flagship phones especially the LG G2, the new Droids and Moto X.
Have an iPhone 5s. Looking at a 6 but so many people going On about android I have to give it a try. Ordered one recently as a bargain on Amazon at the mo. Want to instal lollipop and do a full comparison. Many people supporting one or the other OS so gonna do a hands on 3 or 4 week test. Put this argument to bed once and for all. Then give an honest opinion. Waiting on delivery!
While I'm waiting for UPS to bring my black Nexus 5 to me, this was a nice review to watch. I'm a bit bummed about the volume of the speaker because my Galaxy Nexus has always been too quiet too. However, the camera looks like it records nicely. That video at the end was quite nice for a phone recording.

I loved the N5. I had the red one. But I switched to HTC One M8 and now I'm debating if I should go to Nexus 6 or HTC One M9, they are both amazing phone series.

My White Nexus 5 showed up yesterday. I like it. Partly because I March to the beat of my own drum and everybody seems to want the black one.

Black definitivly, because this rubber finish makes it more usable everyday. Everything what's glossy looks fine but sucks when use it :)
