Also I gotta put this out their, Kwesi on 9-noon with PA today said “Just because something is risky doesn’t mean you have to stay away from it” I ABSOLUTELY believe plan A is trading up, for who now that’s guess work at this point, people will say it’s for McCarthy people will say it’s for Maye but it could even be for Daniel’s but it will be one of those three.
Yeah that’s a fan created narrative where the fans determine what’s risky and what isn’t.
Mackey getting so much criticism is exhibit A.
Truthfully……….
Not trading is up risky.
Rolling with Sam Darnold is risky.
Trading Justin Jefferson is risky.
Paying Justin Jefferson is risky.
There’s risk in everything Kwesi and the Vikings do.
The Vikings need/want a QB but whatever ends up happening will not be fear driven.

@@kurtvatland One can hope, honestly I’m fine with either of those three and also Penix plus a defensive player. But man if we get Daniels that would be something else. Even if we had to give up 11, 23 + 2 future 1sts I’d be extremely happy.

I would love for you guys to have a discussion with the guys on the PHXN Cardinals podcast. Similar to what was happening with the Panthers a couple of years ago. They're delusional in thinking we HAVE to trade with them. Otherwise, we miss out on a QB. If that happens, it was a massive fuck up trading for that second first round pick. I love Mackey's ability to debate topics, so would love to see you guys go head to head and enlighten them on the adaptability 23 affords us.

Cam Little will be the best rookie field goal kicker in the draft. Write that down. Passing him in the 6th or 7th round is insane. Accurate and can kick from 60+ yards no problem. Vikes will regret not picking him…

I’m an Air Force football fan… but Day 3/UDFA sleepers we NEED are:
Trey Taylor (CB/S): Ed Reed’s cousin and beat Cooper DeJean for the Jim Thorpe.
Bo Richter (DE/OLB): converted safety to DE/OLB. Played multiple fronts. Can tackle in open space. Led MWC in TFLs and stacked 10 sacks in his first and only year at the position. He has an arsenal of pass rush moves. And is both the fastest and strongest prospect for the position.
I’m sure PFF penalized Thor for not agreeing with the consensus, but that’s how you obtain good talent at sleeper prices.
I would draft Thor with our #1 pick!
Would love to know forno’s/miles/thors thoughts on late round sleepers: Gabe Hall 6-6 291 DT from Baylor with a 9.25 RAS and Jacob Monk 6-3 308 OG from Duke w a 9.74 RAS
Pick Beebe and Sweat in the 4th would be incredible.
If Limmer and Bebe are there in the 4th take them both no questions needed

Love Thor, but I definitely think we overpaid for JJ. QBs are the riskiest picks, and we gave up possible great picks at DT and CB for what is typically a crap shoot.
#1 priority franchise QB, #2 Offensive lineman. After what Thor had to say about Limmer, draft Limmer Vikings need a new Center. I'm done with Bradbury and his back issues time to get a replacement.

Judd forms a pre determined opinion about something he knows nothing about, and then operates under the assumption his opinion is accurate.
So much so he would actually write a story, questioning the Vikings in a manner he couldn’t be proven wrong.
For example:
Predetermined narrative-
Pennix will be available in the 2nd RD
so drafting him in the first round is a mistake.
Criticism: Vikings draft Pennix at
11 or 23.
Soon to be article:
Vikings blow draft and waist 1st RD Pick on injury riddled QB, who otherwise would of been available later in the draft.
This is just an example. But it’s a classic example of how old head media writers survive talking about stuff they know nothing about.

I thought Thor could only make a choice between which dip can is best? There are no secrets or sleepers as you can bet 75% of all teams know this and that about any player too. Only the fans are the newly informed

If he sucks, everyone is fired and we try again in 3-5 years and all your picks are back in play
I like these episodes but these mock drafts are so unrealistic.
If you really take a step back and think about what’s going to take place in the upcoming draft, it all stems from desperation.

Underwood turned into a pussy two days into training g camp and quit football. That’s a bust. Honorable mentions Troy Williamson, Gerald Robinson, Keneuchi Udeza, James White, Shariff Floyd. Those guys were big time busts and Cine will join that list real soon
Hey guys, how do I get a hold of the Vikings GM to propose this trade, the trade is Justin Jefferson straight up for Justin Herbert, since Herbert is not really going to work harbaugh type of offense. If somebody could email him and get this out, this would be perfect. That way the Vikings actually get to keep the 11th and the 23rd, and the charges of course would keep their fifth pick. Now they may have to move up to the third round pick with the patriots to secure their JJ from Michigan.
Just post on social media that you’re not an NFL GM and you don’t know ball. That will reach him.
If Herbert isn’t going to work in a Harbaughs type of offense, why would Jefferson?
Also, if you would look at the dead cap the Chargers would have if they trade Herbert, you’d see it’s impossible to trade him.

I don’t want to trade Jefferson BUT what if we could absolutely fleece the chiefs for a haul for Jefferson? Think about it, the Chiefs now have no one but Kelce after losing Rice they could be desperate. What if we could get multiple 1st rounds including this years and multiple 2nd or 3rd round picks?
Absolutely not - the firsts will essentially be 2nds. Not worth it. Even for 3 firsts and 3 seconds (which will essentially be 3rds).
