This guy Forno really gets my head spinning. The way he point and then counterpoint himself is just mind boggling! Growing up we had a saying; “Think long you think wrong”, stop overthinking this draft it’s really not that complicated. Decide who is the best guy for your team and take your shot, win or lose, that’s it.
4 is what I have been thinking
I've said before if you're going to empty the bank account don't buy the cheapest compact car at the dealership--put your money on a big strong four-wheel drive truck with low mileage that will last through 10 Long Cold Minnesota winters
When I bought my truck in 19, I was showing my Dad my choices, and Dad said if I have the money to do this, why not get something really nice for the first time in my life? I took his advice.
dont go to any dealership buy a 3 year old truck from an old man who put 15K on it and looks showroom clean
Ford doesn't even make cars anymore. All trucks, suvs and hybrids. Save for the mustang.
So kind of a silly statement since dealers are going away from cars.
Next time just say autos. It's an all encompassing blanket statement.
Bad take, emptying your bank account to buy any car is the biggest financial mistake you can ever make.
JD5,JJ Mcarthu,Penix If we got one of these guys I wouldn't complain at all
No on Penix
Forno mentioned special teams. Kwesi already addressed that need by spending a 1st on Lewis Cine. Special teams for life!
The Vikings invited Quinyon Mitchell today. Its nice that they're doing their homework.
If NE asks for the moon then they shoot themselves in the foot by scaring away suitors - then ruin Maye - dumb move
What makes sense if for the Vikings to stand pat and see who drops to the eleventh pick. Drake Maye's stock is falling and Michael Pennix Jr's is rising. There is really no upside to trading out of number eleven or number 23.
Well, I’m really hoping that the Vikings have more than just one plan before they walk into this draft room! Personally, I wish the day would make more moves to solidify the offense and defense line. And grab either Penex or Rattler. I know this one thing for sure, quarterbacks that are not selected in the top 10 tend to be the guys who win Super Bowls. Call it a chip on the shoulder, call it hunger. Whatever it is it never happens in the first round. At least not in the top five.
New England is asking for four first round picks and Arizona wants three. For pick 3 the Vikings could offer picks 11 and 23 plus a 2026 first round pick to keep the 2025 first because it may be a top ten pick, by 2026 they should have put together a solid roster and will likely be drafting later in the draft.
Three way should involve NE, WAS,and MIN
J.C. Latham as a right tackle is more of a fit with the Chargers than Joe Alt because they already have Slater on the left side so trading down makes a lot of sense for the Chargers, why take a Joe Alt that may be better but would be out of place when you can pick up an extra asset and still get a good player that fits.
What about trading into day two???
Tyler gotta have takes. Who cares if you’re wrong! Put em out there! 🥜
Stop with the Spencer Rattler crap..😮 No way he's another Jaren Hall.
Yes overpayment is a possibijty. Flip side is depending on who else is willing to trade up or even have capital to do so.....
Don't underestimate how hard NE or others willing to hold fast on overpayment, and really like the potential of 11 & 23 picks in this draft.... tooo high okay thanks we will take a later trade partner......WAIT. .
Today we discuss is we give team ownership to the chargers for pick 5
Before any of you bring up Spencer Rattler AGAIN, please go watch the Texas Vs OU game where Stoops pulled Rattler for Caleb Williams. That OU team had no respect for Rattler! Zero
Steve Hutchinson, 17th overall pick. Alan Faneca, 26th pick. Two of arguably the best guards to ever play. Terrible take to say you would NEVER take an interior O-lineman in round 1. Get off this show.
Yep take JPJ might be there at 23 take him and slide him to left guard and when Bradbury hurts his back you Could slide him to center
Giants & Pats will never do a deal together. Those teams hate each other.
Pretty sure 1987 was the last NFL 3 team trade involving Eric Dickerson. This isn't the NBA. So it ain't happening.
According to I believe Daniel Jeremiah GMs don’t lie with regards to what claim the other offers are
If we don't go for #3 do not go after a QB just go after the best football player avaliable we already have the same level of QB s already on the roster I wonder if Christian Ponder watches this show and realizes he is the gold standard for what a really bad draft pick is ?
I'd rather see a 3 way trade with New England and the Chargers as long as we end up with Maye or Daniels depending on who Washington picks.
Maye will be a bust. 🤢🤮
So so so innaccurate. And happy feet.
@@WheresWaldo05 exactly
😮😮😮😮😮
Trade Jefferson if you want a FULL roster and draft capital
I would for AZ two first rounders this year plus a 2nd in 2025. We would have 4 picks in first round this yr. No brainer!
@@thomashealey3393and additional salary cap room for next year when we could make a serious Super Bowl push
Hey just hear me out no one's going to want to listen but hear me out. If you look at yes Jaren Hall and his numbers from last season they actually didn't look very bad at all. He was put in a bad situation with the Vikings Packers game late in the season. The Packers where blizing on him every play similar to our defense last season if you look at the rest of the games that Hall played in he did a decent job as a rookie being thrown in there don't you think if the Vikings work with him over the off-season with all these extra playmakers and a much better looking defense that he could be something to look at and who knows maybe he could be our future quarterback.
Randy Moss was a Red Flag.
the third game will show how stupid the vikings ownership was to pass up on Harbaugh and all these talk show who want to ignore the main problem of the offense line and if Harbaugh get what he wants the chargers will make the vikings look like a high school team
As fans we have no choice to blindly trust KoC and Kwesi. We have no choice boys and girls. Lol
I can see a scenario where we could end up with Justin Herbert. It won't cost as much as far as draft capital. He has a bigger contract. But if you really draft your guy you're probably going to give him a contract before the five years are up. Maybe give up 23 and we keep 11. He is not a Jim Harbough guy. Harbough likes to come in and flex his muscle. If Daniels or Mccarthy drop to five. They could be looking to move Herbert who is a KOC guy.
So Harbough let's his top 2 WR's and RB go this offseason. And now he's going to now get rid of a young, top 5, elite and proven QB? Just so he can draft a rookie QB to come in with ZERO offensive weapons to help him acclimate to the NFL???
Zero chance LA trades Herbert. ZERO!
We drafted a “May(e) and it didn’t go well.🥴
No trading up.
If they went that route with Hall just think what they could do with their draft picks. Im obviously not out on Hall.
Please not another cornerback...🤬 Another Cine and Kwesi is gone.
Try Kyle Sloter- why not.🤷
He was cut from the XFL last year and still hasnt found a job. big no
be real
Declan, I’m a little concerned about you. You keep fussing with your nose like you’re doing Coke or something. Hope everything’s OK and you’re not doing anything like that?
No Drake.
The surest most impactful move is to go get Herbert from the chargers--big reliable proven plug-in!!!!
I doubt that it happens because of his contract but I wouldn't rule anything out. I just want the Vikings to get their guy because Kirk wasn't the answer.
Yeah lets go from big contract to another big contract. And im a huge ducks and herbert fan. Wish we couldve drafted but another big contract isnt what we need.
The cap is a myth. We could move cash into future years and open up a legit SB window beginning in 2026
I wouldn’t. Herbert is all projection and hasn’t shown any ability to elevate his team. And his price tag exceeds his production which hurts overall team potential.
And it doesn’t matter what the Vikings’ FO or even the Chargers FO might prefer (Harbaugh would likely love to have McCarthy on a rookie deal) - the dead cap hit for the Chargers is like $80 M and they would have to cripple their team to get under.
Kid in the middle looks like he wants to cry.
Bradberry SUCKS!!!
Get to pick 5 NOW for 11 and 23. Take QB4 or MHJr. At 5!! Call AZ bluff.
I hear the Giants want to trade up to #4 and the Cardinals are excited about only having to go back to #6.
@@joshuabunkers1494 cool, then Cards can get excited about LSU WR too!! Getting the best player in the entire draft at 5 (and JJettas insurance), isn’t the worst case scenario by any means.
The Chargers hope so because they will draft the number one receiver available in the draft. I think if they were to trade down we would have more attractive trade package but they will might stick and pick if they want the top receiver in the draft.
@@daviddidder3781we have 2 WRs already... we dont need the hype train that is MHJr.
@@laserchiefwankoo204 JJettas is the hype train. MHJr is insurance against failing to sign Jefferson and having to deal him.
Lmao a bunch of chicken Littles can't wait to get rid of a top 10 qb and now when reality sets in Phil's all worked up over hodge and what he says about a player. Riddle me this batman does Merrell? Work for a club now or does he just voicing his opinion ? I'll trust our front office. Lol come on Phil don't let Christian ponder scare you oh the fun this draft is going to be.
Wrong. If you are taken in round 7, you are far less apt to be developed, as you are more unlikely to get in game reps. And the only way you are going to develop, is by playing in games. Not doing drills against the wind. Lmao. This middle guy has terrible takes.
Sweat isn’t falling to round 5. GTFO! 😂😂
Penix @ 11
Get Maye if not then take Penix. I think McCarthy is all hype right now
Miles uses the word like in every sentence. It’s kind of irritating.
Rattler 🤮🤮
Stay at 11, sign Risner and draft all defense
Wow now that would be a horrible choice. Offense is how it gets done these days. The best defense can not stop the best offense. Ask KC as they are getting their SB rings...lmao
Bla bla bla. I'll take a Brett or Aaron pick or even Tom later in the rounds. You trade up and bust like ponder or even a Jonny. No thank you. To much drama and hot air. You people are like a bunch old ladies on a front porch!!!!
