Try and harmonize with someone who is not in tune.

So i tried singing a song i have struggled with that had a lot of vibrato...and i sang it while i shook my finger in the right places and it bloody worked! I sounded awesome! So i recorded it... and OMG... i sound like a pro. I am lucky that i have a natural vocal ability and great vibrato anyway, but this has refined it.

My teacher says low notes need more air released where as high notes need more air in reserve but less air to actually make the note. So sometimes it helps me to exhaust all of my air supply on a low note like when you're practicing doing scales or something, just let all of your air come out, like tell your mind you're going to use all of the air you just breathed in and exhaust it on those low notes and that should help some. My guess would be that or playing with positioning/resonance. Btw I don't mean exhaust like push all of it out and force but just know in your mind you're letting all of your air flow out and channel it to make that note. She uses the example like a balloon- if you blow up a balloon and then let it go, all of the air comes out and it makes a low frequency bbbbbpppppp sound. But when you blow up a balloon and you hold the mouth piece on each side and pull it and release the air little by little it makes a high pitched squeak sound without using much air at all, most of it stays in the balloon. Your voice is the same way. Hope that helps!!!

This might be a bit late but if you would trust me this will help you. I'm not a vocal coach but I'm a music teacher. If you have problem staying in pitch often it's usually because of your hearing, not your vocals. It may also be due to the fact that you have been listening to music with earpieces or headphones too often on a loud volume, it will damage your hearing. Another reason could be listening to too much pop music as lots of it are auto-tuned nowadays, even live performances, which kinds of dumb down your hearing capabilities.
If you realised, most classical musicians in a orchestra are able to sing in pitch easily, but not in a fanciful way, is because their hearing is attuned due to playing together and also having to tune their own instruments regularly. Lots of pianist aren't able to naturally sing in tune even if they've been playing for years because they don't tune their own instruments so they don't pay attention to the slight difference in pitch as often as say, people who play the violin.
There are a few ways you can improve on this. One is to pick up an instrument and learn how to sing and play along with it. You don't need to learn it to an advanced level, just knowing how to play scales and chords will be enough for starters.
Next, you need to know that every note is essentially a frequency. What most people don't know is that every note has an entry and an exit, especially obvious with a woodwind or brass instrument. You might be in tune when you enter the note, but you might be off tune when you exit. A LOT of modern pop singers don't realise this or put in enough effort to pay attention to this so when they sing they don't sound off tune to most people, but to the trained ear you can tell that their notes are inconsistent. Some people would argue, it's their style. But I say, off pitch is off pitch. So what you do is when you sing, pay attention to every note you produce at the beginning the moment a sound is made up till the end when it fades off or transits to another note, make sure it is all in tune. Running to train your stamina helps here too if you find the end of your notes falter too often. Unpopular opinion here would be Adele, her pitch is not consistent especially when she tries to do her transitions. Especially obvious in her verses, not chorus. It's almost impossible to catch because her tone of voice that is very captivating. However, tone is something you're born with, technique is something you can improve on.
Then you need how to do runs properly which a lot of singers nowadays just fake. A lot of R&B or pop singers nowadays just since random notes when they do a run or 'scale'. It's barely even accurate. When you wanna do a run make sure you do something that is structured, not just placing random notes inbetween thinking it will sound all right. Practice with a basic major or minor first then pentatonic or a blues scale, then slowly diversify into variations of those. And of course, these all have to be done with the assistance of an instrument alongside so you make sure you hit the correct pitch on every one of the notes.
