Hey man I just ran across your Channel and really your videos. I'm a Mopar guy also for many years I just ordered the new 2023 Chrysler 300 with the 6.4 l engine (the original srt) I'm also on reservation list for a new Hellcat I'm going to see where I can get the better deal at, without too much mark up. Thank you very entertaining vids man 👍

With your car with suck low miles. Don’t you void your factory engine warranty ? When you don’t take the car to the dealer. So it can be documented in their system.

Nope it doesn’t affect the warranty at all. I’d rather do it myself than worry it’s going to come out with a scratch. I’m pretty meticulous.

Hey, how did you know when to like put the miles of your next oil change on the filter and under the hood?

I change it every 3k miles or a year. Whichever comes first since its not my daily driver.

Synthetic oil you can do every 6k, it's only 3k the second oil change after the first oil change at the first 1k miles, the first two are relatively close and short because it cleans up any remaining metal shavings from the factory boring out the engine. 6k is sufficient for daily, city, and highway driving. I'd only so 3k if you drive aggressively almost every day and/or go to the track

I’ve always changed my oil every 3k miles. I don’t take the Scat to the track but I do drive aggressively! Im not trying to save money when it comes to 3k or 5k miles. Its a weekend warrior for me so every 3k miles is usually twice a year anyway.

I got 4 free Oil Changes when I bought the car, next week is my last free one. I don't mind changing oil, it is just the clean up process that sucks. BTW, is it just me or does the oil filter always seem to drop into the pan and splash on your face?
