I got a 2021 dodger charger sxt with the black out package and I couldn’t be happier with the car, I saw your video about why you choose the sxt challenger so I can appreciate the video 👍🏾
I'd like to see more on how to reset the oil change light, and what does 100 mean? My daughter just got a 2019 SXT and all the electronic gadgets are kind of a mystery to me.
ngl you’re a good content creator. the way you research and explain everything you’re doing is perfect. i hope your next car is a v8 so your channel can blow up if you start making videos again. you have so much potential, keep grinding.
Thank you, I really appreciate your kind words. I really hope that you stay tuned because I’m going to be revealing my new vehicle in the coming weeks!
I got the SXT and trust me bro ignore the haters. This car has plenty power and it is extremely easy to work on if you’re willing to get your hands dirty.
My 2012 challenger sxt v6 i use valvoline se 5-30 synthetic blend the white 5 quart jug and about half a 1 quart bottle. Its good to put the o ring on your oil filter cap before you snap in the new paper oil filter. To reset my oil change light on the 2012 challenger, i have to press the ignition button two times without starting the car, then press the gas petal three times within 10 seconds.
Thanks for taking the time to make a video. Next time, edit out all the personal stuff , because no one cares . Use a high speed frame rate playback in areas that are redundant or obvious to everyone. ie, undoing multiple bolts, wiping and cleaning etc. That video could have been 5 min. max instead of 20 . Lastly , you will want to get some mufflers on that six cylinder , the noise its making now sounds more like a vacuum cleaner, not a muscle car with a throbbing V8 . so quiet it down so everyone will have to wonder what engine is under the hood, and you wont be ashamed of only having a 6 .
Might be a silly question but, could i use this vide to change the oil on a 2016 challenger R/T scat pack ? I'm new to cars and dont know if it's fine to use the same type of oil as shown here.
While its perfectly fine to use synthetic oil, the 2019 up SXT V6 Dodge spec "MS6395" is for is 5W-20 conventional oil. So you have a choice of conventional or synthetic oil changes. The only reason that the Dodge Dealer recs synthetic is to make more money. Now, if u have a 2019 up 6.4 Hemi, then u have to use 0w-40 Mopar or Pennzoil synthetic as specified by Dodge as the only approved oil.
I have an SXT and am confused one dealer told me conventional and another told me synthetic. But the oil change warning goes off after 10,000 miles. I know synthetic can go for 10,000 miles but thought conventional was only good for 5,000 miles.
The owner’s manual only states that the manufacturer recommends the use of SAE 5W-20 motor oil that is API Certified and meets the requirements of FCA Material Standard MS-6395. It also states that the manufacturer strongly recommends against any oil additives other than leak detection dye. Further more, it also states that under no circumstances should oil change intervals exceed 10,000 miles (16,000Km), twelve months or 350 hours of engine run time, whichever comes first.
Jeremy the Bible says unless you repent you will perish(Luke 13:3) Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, drunks and revilers have no inheritance in God’s Kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) please consider this I care about your soul and say this out of love. Many people are going to hell and I don’t want you to be deceived by churches pastors etc.
What’s your preferred brand of motor oil?
All brands have to meet a certain OE specifications, so all oils conventional or synthetic are virtually the same except for their TV commercials
Royal Purple, Pennzoil, and Mobil 1.
Amsoil
Rotella
Thanks for the video, I'm going to start doing my oil changes myself, I'm not going to the dealer anymore
Dang it. I need more videos!

by far the simplest oil change ever. took me 20 minutes beginning to end.

Your challenger sounds awesome. What exhaust are you using?
Do you have video installing apark plugs

Excellent explanation, thank you!!
my oil drain plug won’t budge
Full synthetic - The only way to go!
What type of muffler you got ?
Wow that is EAZY
Man finally you’re back!
Do you reuse the same oil drain plug?
For my old Honda Civic, it was recommended to always use a new oil drain plug with a gasket.
Yeah, you’ll reuse it for the Dodge Challenger.
I did it.
Have you ever changed the drain plug?
Thanks.
why did you put the jacks there and not on the frame
Those pinch welds are the jack points specified in the owners manual
Sounds good
Great video man. Are you gonna do a coolant flush as well?
