Makes me kinda wish Dark Souls had something like a ''rage'' meter that you can activate, where your character just goes berserk and is able to pull these moves. Maybe the length of that mode could be made with a stat that replaces something useless like luck.
Oh I had been thinking about setting this up for a few months with other challenge runners from CR, but the latency is sadly a major turnoff - especially for people like us who are so used to strafing and spacing hitboxes from boss attacks so closely. Hahaha yeah I had a blast making this! I was a little worried because it's different from what I normally make, but I'm glad people enjoyed it. I have a lot of ideas for how I want to incorporate the community as well in future videos so there's more to come.
This video just reinforces my opinion that we should have a multiplayer version of dark souls where you can choose bosses of any of the games to play as or create your own character and instead of arena like multiplayer, the game would be similar to invasions but every player could respawn and reach a kill goal or set it to 1v1 and have first to like 10 or 20 kills.

@@SlamDunk0092 No not stupid at all, Friede is Unkindled like the player, meaning she once tried to link the flame but failed and got defeated by the Soul Of Cinder. There's actually a video of the two bosses fighting on RUclips and it's a close match but she ends up losing most of the time.
I need more of this vids, also Chest, why you don't try doing the same thing but with more friends, like 3 or 4 players being bosses fighting 2v2 or free for all, that would be funny af

This is the best Dark Souls mod I have ever seen. Just being able to not only face off against your friend who is playing a boss, but you could against your friends, and also fighting against your friend who is playing a boss while playing a boss of your own is just too amazing.
I actually think this is cool since the only boss fight where a player comes is spear of the church but here you have a player that actually plays as a boss..i think this is like a change since now your the undead and your friend is the one stopping you. They should add some places with players as a boss to spice things up i suppose..(But it has it pros and cons)
Yeah I really want to but he's not playable in this mod - I'd have to rebind his animations and be confined to tank controls. I really do want to remaster it though.
Man, this is AMAZING. It looks so fun to play as the boss, but to play against a friend? And both of you as bosses too? It's so crazy. It'd be great to have an arena mod like this, where two players choose a boss and fight it out! This is simply great. I'd love to see part 2, a tutorial to set it up, and more fun like this! Boss vs boss duels seems like a legit cool mode, imagine if that was a multiplayer choice somehow, like maybe once you burn the champion bone shard you are able to equip boss souls to your covenant item slot and enter special duels with other players who have their own chosen boss soul equipped.
That of making Boss vs Boss was awesome, I would like to see an entire vid of that Great vid man continue like this and the 100k subs are in your pokect

this would really be fun with a big community, I would love to have a full modded parties, servers of like a boss-battle gamemode. Of course with the right upgrades to keep up with a player-boss. A boss battle gamemode, where there would be 4-10 normal ashen ones, equipped with certain roles, and limited estus depending on the count of the coop, against a player-boss tuned on health, and damage to balance the game. Ashen ones would have to strategically play to win against the boss, and bosses would most likely be also fun to play with a lot more power in general than Ashen ones, maybe like a rotating sequence of the number of players in the server, or a discord party, so everyone gets to be a boss. Or also an free for all, or a team deathmatch boss battle, where everyone plays as different bosses, and fight against each other, the map would be somewhere not too large so nobody just runs around, not too small so there's still room for agility, for smaller bosses. I've always thought of this in Dark Souls if there's a boss battle gamemode consisting of the existing bosses in the game, it would really be fun as the bosses in the game are so badass, detailed, and looked fun to play as. I can't believe that half the idea is actually happening now with DS's amazing modding community. This was a great video, good job guys.

A souls game with refined playable bosses in a arena style pvp would be super fun, the chaos would be insane, just imagine during the friede vs cinder fight yhorm or vordt pull up and they are a unpredictable player.
