If this is something anyone reading this is concerned about, and you're 65 or over (or younger honestly. I'm in my 30s and have gone to help out) I just want to suggest Senior centers. Senior centers are amazing! I have seen 1st hand the good that they can bring to the older communities' lives. They talk about relationships but only from one perspective and don't get down to anything. And the men who they have on don't give real opinions from a man's perspective. Look up toxic relationships v’s healthy relationships. When I asked my grandpa the most kind man and who was married to grandma over 50 years - “Papa what does it take to be in a great marriage?” He thought about it and said “RESPECT.” He taught us love how he treated her, his children, and myself and my cousins.

So don't spend time puzzling on this for men who act abnormal with this. 🙂

I used to make more money than my husband. He felt less then and became more and more controlling . He would take my earnings ( I have my own business). He would control where I buy anything including food . I felt that even though it is our money I should not be controlled and I'm living within our own means .
The common things were looked after by me and little extra I could spend as I please.
He wasn't a good partner so I needed to compensate with material things .
    I divorced him .
Can't be controlled and manipulated . I took a male role of the household and my spouse didn't know how to find his place in the house . He should not complain that he is cleaning floor or folding laundry. I worked 12-14 -6 days a week he was working 8 -5days a week .

Ha! I just realized that I feel somewhat unworthy because my dad was depressed for being a stay-home dad. He did many nice things for us kids but there was an emptiness that now I can see. In my case, now I can work those feelings. But, parents please put ❤ and soul in your relationships and towards your children. I guess it can start with what wise people say: "be grateful with what you have" enjoy your present and work towards your goals.

Loved the all male show. Would like to see more of Chris, and the other three as an ongoing series! Chris has a heart for men so he can reach a lot on y'all's show! I was going to say your show, but it really is both of y'all's show! :) (In Texas y'all is a real word!) :)

So glad to see this show about MEN !my boyfriend died by suicide & he would never open up to me or express his feelings, I never saw him cry or get emotional unless it was anger. I felt like I never knew him & it breaks my heart 💔 . Now I will never know 😢
He was very depressed, trying to get help & he just gave up. He didn’t like going out & had only a couple acquaintances but no REAL friends- I’m sure he didn’t tell them his problems Bc he was intimate with me & couldn’t Even tell me.
just so sad that men are hurting inside & they can’t talk about it

No friends? My Dad liked to hunt and fish, and he worked in an all male environment, so he had lots of men friends. That was in NW Quebec. Do some volunteer work -- lots of men at Habitat for Humanity, Rotary club, Lions club, Masonic Lodge. You will meet lots of nice people. Find a place to meet together that isn't a bar.

I think the man who wants friends should start with his College class alumni and his fraternity brothers. Reach out again and make connections. Maybe many men would have similar interests.

One of the best shows online. Thanks Mel for this show. Thanks to all the experts that you had on there too. The world needs to stop pressing the stereotypes around men AND women and replace them with more realistic frameworks of the spectrum that humanity is found on. It begins at home with me. 🇺🇸🤙🏽

Also in Texas people are super friendly. I know because my dad's family is from there. In LA people are more competitive. Also I am from Oregon where it is easy to meet people and in California, in general, in my experience it is harder because a lot of people are transients. My husband and I would meet couples we liked and then they would always move to another state or country!!!

Lol yes men have lustful thoughts that never stop, its the same for women as well. Just have to find a logical partner and when the trust is broken the relationship is then broken in some way shape or form. From there its a choice of repairing or releasing it. Was definitely nice to have an all male panel and audience, this would and could go along way to helping break toxic issues in general.

I am the sole breadwinner in the family and work as a healthcare professional in a foreign land. My husband and my 5 kids were solely dependent on me.I missed all those times when my kids were growing up and at school. By the time they graduated college, I have not even set foot and seen their Alma Mater. It was my husband who was with them all those times and this caused me personally a lot of pain as a mother but as human beings, we cannot have and cannot do everything as much as we wanted to and wished for due to our own individual or personal limitations. The financial situation adding the great distance between me and my family was the cause of this division; they are so far from me - they are on the day side on face of the world while I am on the night side of the Earth. Thanks be to God all five of them finished college and all became professionals.
