I am really happy to see your video.I had some confusion regarding potting of vanda orchid, as we see some of in youtuber planted vanda root fully covered with bark or clay ball, but you didn't. Can please tell us how we water vanda in this process of charcoal bed. Should we placed in bucket filled with water or by spraying on root portion...? Please reply

I grow mine JUST like that here in Ohio USA but l use lava rocks . The humidity is lower here so they actually appreciate potting , surprisingly!

@@CheeryOrchids hello there! Great question! I have been growing my orchids in Ohio now --- indoors by a southeast window, since 2015. I only recently switched over to putting them in a greenhouse on my patio. They are water daily in summer when they are outside..the entire summer. Come winter, since they are potted, once a week watering was perfect. The greenhouse has been a bit of a transition this winter gone....but l still ended up watering once a week. Thanks for watching!
@@joycerenwick2344 I have been growing vandas indoors, directly Infront of a southeast window here in Ohio ---- October till may. They spent summer outside under shade cloth. I just recently got a greenhouse which l put on my patio...I need to do a video😏.. NOW they have a southern exposure in th greenhouse which l have to artificially heat from November till ...right about now, april. Still watered once a WK or so. No fuss at all. They didn't like the transition from house to greenhouse strangely enough....had wayyyy less blooms! But they'll adapt

hi love your vandas in pots and charcoal i live in a non tropical climate and i have a vanda in bloom and its in orchiata bark.. how are your potted vandas in clay pots doing?

thats great ! i have 2 compact vandas hybrids and i grow them indoors undergrow lights because of my climate here. So far they’re doing great about 6months from when I potted them in all bark and i haven’t lost any leaves. after the flowers fade, ill repot in charcoal like yours. thanks

Meron pong nagwawater culture ng orchids pero hindi ko pa natry, search nyo sa youtube hindi po sya literal na ilublob sa tubig part lang ng roots pero matrabaho sa beginners sa tingin ko☺️
