Im my experience i use to spray my vanda orchids with root booster and foliar fertizer and i got a very good result just once a week.
Very healthy vandals even with a few roots! Nice hangers! Nindot kaayo!

You are very skilled, those hangers look perfect. So wonderful to have received those Vandas. They look very healthy. They need to grow more roots now to sustain and hydrate and be able to bloom. I water mine daily by soaking them in water with fertilizer for an about hour and I have had good results ❤️

Hi Che. Saw the title of the video and I had to watch. This week I have been making basket hangers with wire.
I have been twisting wire with the drill and this week I obtained a vice to help hold things still.
At sometime in the near future I will do a video so you can see.

I live in Panglao, and have 2 vandas coming (I think). I was wondering how I was going to hang them. I have some wire like you do, and thought I would just make a gentle loop around the stem/leaves to hang them. I like your way much better! 😃

How do you water vanda with roots growing up not down, they all go away from the tree because they're new, hope I can learn more from youu^^
I suggest that you turn the wire around the plier thread or four turns to make the base....

Maam kahit isa lang po ba ang ugat mabubuhay pa din. Yong vanda ko po kasi bagong tanim isa lng po ugat nya. Ma save pa po ba kaya ito. Ang galing ng mga vanda nyo po ang ganda.
Hi!😀 Hindi ko sure, depende din sa klase ng vanda, meron kasing vanda na tina topcut minsan may ugat na minsan din walang ugat pero tumutubo naman. Observe mo Lang and diligan mo lang kasali ang dahon pero careful din na hindi magrot😊
You cement under them will develop algae over a period of time. It will makes ur house look old. Mukang bagong pintura at cement pa nmn yan, lalo na kapag laging basa ung semento.

Yun din akala ko noon na kung wala kang madre de cacao hindi ka pwedeng magtanim ng orchids, hindi pala😅 ngayon tinanim ko na sila lahat sa clay pots kasi ang haba haba na ng roots abot na sa floor😀

Hi!🤗 I think they love the sun. But wide leaf vandas (strap leaves) need filtered sunlight because direct sun can burn their leaves. Terete vandas can take direct sun but be sure to acclimatize them if you grew them in shade
