I lost 10 kg but over a period of time. I just went low carbohydrate. No sugar; no processed foods; no starches; no fruit; no vegetables that grow underground. Avoid cashews, pistas and peanuts as well as yellow pumpkin.They all contain carbohydrates. Yes, to all forms of dairy; nuts and seeds; salad vegetables like coloured capsicum, cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce; cooked vegetables, spices and sprouts. Yes, to eggs, meat and fish. Remember that dals all contain carbohydrates too beside protein. To add extra fiber, I added Isabgol and pure wheat bran. As I have really bad constipation I added two prunes at night even though they are a fruit. It takes some getting used to but the results are rewarding. Drink lots of water first, if you feel hungry, coffee and tea afterwards. Never have a cheat day. This ruins your weight loss. You can play around with these food items. You should use olive oil, pure ghee, butter and virgin coconut oil. Please avoid all seed oils. If you stay low carbohydrate then there is no prescribed amount of fats you can have, but do have some at every meal as it keeps you full. This worked for me and that is why I am sharing it.

i agree we need Protein more but your diet if having more protein and less good Fats and Fiber, too much of protein can lead to rise in uric acid levels, as per the chart you should consume (0.8 grms per kg * weight) of protein, this intake will cross the level of daily protein consumption and will turn into fats. no antioxidants and electrolytes are added to the plan. why?
I am not a dietician and don’t understand all this calculation. I get my protein from eggs, dairy and dal sprouts. When you have to do all this calculation, you get bored. Know which foods have carbohydrates, including alcohol, sugars/jaggery, vegetables that grow underground, fruit etc. For Uric acid, flush it out of your system by drinking lots of water.
I don’t have large amounts of protein. I am vegetarian so my protein comes from one egg, some milk and yoghurt, some cheese, sprouts and some dals. I get lots of fibre from wheat bran, cooked and raw vegetables, nuts and seeds. Uric acid has to be flushed out by drinking lots of water. That is what was recommended and it worked. I do have a bit more fat than I used to but not excessive amounts. Each one’s body is different so please do what works for you.
