Hi can I check if this is a new variant? Because most HP Envy x360 Ryzen 7 5700U sets that I see online via Google Search / RUclips reviews are the non numberpads variant.
What is the difference between 15z and 15t? Also there are different models start with ed, eu and es on HP website. In this case can I blindly choose anyone just based on specs I want? Are they all same laptops?
Thank you for being so detail-oriented. (Thumb upped/liked.) I love the take down photo. However, I do miss one important piece of info: Does this laptop support PD (power delivery), meaning ability to charge the laptop via USB-C? "USB-C w/ Power" (as described in the video) normally means that you can charge another device (like your phone or tablet) via this port. Also, according to HP's website, the USB-C port only supports 5 Gb/s transfer, not 10 Gb/s. Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe you could verify this info with benchmarks? BTW, I own last year's model (4700U), and the trackpad is slowly developing a dead spot. So when I'm using the mouse, the cursor sometimes stops mid-track before it continues. It's a major pain when drag-and-dropping files...
Both are good machines. Vivobook we reviewed was 14" and 5500U and HP is 15.6" with 5700U, so they have different specs. It depends also on the price, because both have different prices.
Cons: they give you a better glossy screen then the lcd display lol.. it's a good laptop when even the Con is good & couldn't come up with any real negative to put there could be worse with those flat lcd displays
Hi ..do you think that the difference between this and the r7 4700u is to much?.. I find the last year's version for 999 CAD.. can you help me to choose ?
You can checkout the Benchmarks in the video. It should tell you the power difference. If you are looking for laptop then i would suggest go with 5000 series AMD CPUs. The 5700U is still based on Zen-2, but 5600U and 5800U are based on Zen-3, if you can find them.
I am at the verge of purchasing this laptop. I will be buying the upgraded version with 64 GB Ram and 2 TB Hard Drive. BUT, I can't decide on the processor: Should I get the one with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U OR Intel Core i7 1165G7??? Which one would you recommend, please? LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!! Cheers!
Do you really need this much RAM, if yes my guess is you do something with 3D or 4k Video Editing or similar then best thing is to go with the AMD Ryzen 7, because more Cores and Threads.
@@DealUnboxing There is nothing mentioned about the type of screen that comes with the one at costco, this particular device comes with two different screen options (250 nits 75% SRGB or 400 nits 100 SRGB). you mentioned it's 400 nits in your review, are you sure about that ?!
@@mohdyousef9955 Here's the one I replied to someone with a similar question: Depends on the type of screen you get. If you configure your model at HP's website, it has an option for 250 or 400. The one linked in the description at Costco is 250 nits. To check for yourself, copy paste where it says "model" then search it up. HP's website should pop up and give you the full specs for that model. Here's the model on Costco's website: 15-ee1083cl Just copy paste this on Google I think he mentions that he got his laptop directly from HP and the one that Costco has "similar" specs. From what I've been searching, everything's basically the same except for the nit brightness.
I think on the HP website it does if I remember correctly. I'm not sure though if this only applies to when you configure your own model on their website. I could be wrong though I checked HP's website last week so you can double check if you want.
Ita not avilable in India. My bro in law purchased for me on 16yh may 22 from Costco usa to India but doubtful of global warranty(though mentioned on usa website) applicable here as this model is not released. Also had a chat with Indian hp online agent for extended warranty and informed for a revert call...will update once I get a reply
Dude, as an Indian who grew up in the US, you trying to force the American accent over the Indian accent comes across like you're trying way too hard to assimilate. Just let it go dawg, speak normally lol

Appreciate the Feedback. I no longer has this laptop, so cannot verify.
What color is this in? And is this the nightfall color? And can you send a link for this one the one you gave me is unavailable
Any feedback on gaming with AAA titles at low settings?
Is there a need of screengaurd on the display touchscreen and also on mousepad for longevity?

How is the power button _directly_ above the Backspace key? Someone _must_ have lost their job for that, right? Otherwise, beautiful unit.
Appreciate the Feedback.
