- NAMM 2022 was a blast at the Artesia Pro Booth, as we had the honor of having the Myron McKinley Trio perform two ripping songs, the first of which was Scarborough Fair, with Myron's signature dynamic arrangement, showcasing Stacey Lamont Sydnor's uncanny ability to make EFNOTE drums whisper and scream. Legend Sekou Bunch filled in on bass and was on fire as well. ENJOY hearing these drums played masterfully by Sydnor, and on your second pass, try and pick out a couple of the superstars that came to check these legends out.

Personally i like very much how responsible the cymbals are and how important it is this to not have missed hits on your playing also for drums the most good thing is the module cause that with any set sound remains amazing!The drummer is as pro level artist of course!!!!!

@@qskhan9344 I personally went from an acoustic set to an electronic one.
I tested VAD503 which is also very nice.
I also tested the EFNote and decided to go with it.
@@qskhan9344 just bought the EFNote 5x today. I had a Roland TD20 before, I made the best choice imho.

Can we please get some electronic style drums kits and percussive kits. Acoustic kits are cool and sound amazing but there are a lot of EDM drummers out there. Would love 808 kits. I would drop the $$$$ for the Efnote 7x if it had some quality electro kits like 808 909 EDM percussive etc and play them in my 80s new wave tribute band.
Some beautiful fretless Bass happening, among other things.

What kit preset was that on the EFNOTE?
I believe we started with the Maple King and scrolled some kicks and landed on the Slingerland vintage Coated 22x14 kick, swapped the Gretsch 10x8 tom for the 12x8. Snare is the Gretsch Brass2 14x5 and ride is a Zildjian 20"medium sizzle. Stacey showed up, sat down and we had him dialed on in-ears within about 5 minutes.

Is the module compatible with other branded pads, cymbals...?
It is compatible for the most part, but optimized for our pad setups. All of the crashes and rides are 2 input, 3 zone cymbals with 360° playing and choke range. our snare setup uses a dedicated input for the side rim and is 3 zones. All toms are 2 zones. Our hi hat uses a 6 pin DIN connector in order to power the optical sensors in the cymbal, and has no cam or springs. That makes it proprietary in the same way the Roland Digital hats are.. Edrumcenter sells a module/hi hat bundle that can easily paired with other pad sets.
