Can you use these bulbs in the rear as well for the blinker/reverse light?
There are specific ones for the rear. ( I have a video on that ) I have kept the reverse lights. but there has been nothing but issues with the rear directionals.
The rear directionals I went to the old style as the cars computer has issues with only the rear LED bulbs. The front switchback bulbs are fantastic. I also really like the third brake/ reverse LEDs, high improvement.
I just ordered via your link. I’ll let you know if it effects the auto highbeam feature or not.

Does this upgrade in any way affect the auto dimming high-beams? If it is brighter I’d think it would prevent high-beams from coming on automatically
No, I have had it installed for about a week and auto dimming still work with no issues. Plus I drive to work at 5:30 and no one has high beamed me coming the other way. So I’m he builds do not affect the other drivers.
Follow up. So when I went to work this morning at 5:30, I realized that the road I use is extremely light up and I don’t think my high beams have ever come on. So if you buy them get them from Amazon ( theirs a discount code for amazon in the description) and you can return them easy. But please, let me know what you find out so I will know for future comments. Thanks, have a great day
Any news if this effects high beams? Skeptical to order bc I live in a very remote area and use the auto high beams daily
All I can tell you is that I do not notice any difference in the Maverick headlights when I drive at night. They must be working because I never do it manually. I do not see any difference between my Maverick and my Bronco, they both work the same. I never see the high beam light come on in either vehicle. I wish I could tell you more, but I do not know. Since it is so easy to install, just buy them from Amazon. If the do effect the auto headlights, amazon will give you 30 days to send them back for free. Please let me know what you find out.
@@fredsgarage1925 I just ordered them and will keep you posted. I asked on a forum and two people told me auto high beams still work. Time will tell!
I've had my turn signals changed for about half a year now. The auto high beams works as normal. I sometimes drive back roads and they come on when I need them. The headlights also turn on when they are needed
@Wolf-oe7ko thanks for clarifying it for me. I live in a busy area and there are street lights 50 ft or so. It’s just not dark enough. My lights never change. Thank again, I’ve been waiting to find out. Have a great day
I have replaced all my exterior lights with LASFIT LED bulbs.
I’ve had the switchbacks for a couple of weeks now and I really love them. I’m going to do the rest also. Where I live it’s extremely bright, a lot of street lights. I can’t tell if my auto-high beams still work. Do your auto high beams still come on or do the switchbacks stop them? Thanks. Have a great holiday

Fred since you have a relationship with Lasfit you might be able to help. I currently have the rear turn signal, brake, reverse/back up, and third brake light LED bulbs installed. ( I use your discount for the last pair, I had already purchase the others previously), Just recently FORD has sent out a notification about a recall to upgrade the software to fix the alert for a burnt out bulb for the rear turn signals. Apparently in was not doing the fast click/flash on the dash that indicates a burnt out turn signal bulb. Many of owners who have taken the Mavericks in for the fix that have the Lasfit bulbs are saying that now the burnt out bulb indicator is hyper flashing. They say the Lasfit bulb is working normally, but the burnt out bulb alert is now hyper flashing. I would guess the software is changing the resistance needed to make the factory bulbs respond and alert when there is a burnt out factory bulb. I am hoping Lasfit can come up with a solution for this issue which is now being reported on several of the Maverick Club forums>
Hi, yes I just spoke to someone yesterday. Lastfit increased the resistance on their new bulbs so their customers should not have an issue with the hyperflash. In my video I was given the new version of their switchback bulbs. My Maverick is a 2023 and I do not have a recall, is yours a 21-22? What I would do if I did have a recall is bring it in with the old incandescent light bulbs for the new computer update and then place the lasfit back in when I got home. The person I was talking to yesterday told me that his only hyperflashes during long stops with the directionals on for over 30 seconds. Mine with the new bulbs never hyperflashes. I guess I would also contact lasfit customer service and see if they will sell the new switchebacks at a bigger discount. Thy probably would. The hyperflash has been an issue for along time, and a lot of people would have to install a separate resistors with older LED’s. The new bulbs have a larger resistor built in. Thanks for the questions, let me know how you made out.
@@fredsgarage1925 Fred mine is a 2023 XLT hybrid. I just installed the lasfit rear tail lights and the rear turn signal lights. And I had already installed the backup lights in june. From what I understand it's only the rear turn signal lights that have the issue. I did save the old Factory bulbs. From what I understand is it's only the rear turn signal bulbs that are affected, and the Lasfit bulbs work properly but it hyper flashes the dash turn signals like it would if the ball was burnt out. What others are saying the front Switchback turn signals are not affected, but I haven't gotten any confirmation on that?
Wow, did you get a recall letter or notice for your Maverick? I haven’t. Sorry but if I understand correctly, your Maverick started hyper flashing since you replaced the REAR taillights. The Maverick was fine before you changed the rear lights? I can e-mail my contact at Lasfit and she what they tell me. I just want to make sure I understand correctly. @@fredsgarage1925 yes I got the notice from Ford. But no I haven't been called in to do my recall to the dealer yet. On several of the Maverick clubs several owners are saying that they are now having the issue with the dash hyper alert flashing as if they had a burnt out bulb. These are all people who have installed the lasfit LED bulbs.

Have you noticed any hyperflashing if you leave yours on for to long? To clarify, i mean when you have your turn signal for over like a minute or so on those long lights. That happens to mine but yours look newer and smaller. Also wanted to bring it to your attention in case you didn't know and so you can warn people before they freak out. It does stop if you turn off the signal for like 10 seconds
To answer your question, I drive a 2022 maverick xlt with the 2.0L gas engine. I installed the turn signals and reverse lights probably 6 months ago. I finished installing every exterior light 2 months ago. The turn signal still happens for those long lights. I have learned when it is truly necessary for me to turn them on so they don't hyperflash
I asked lasfit about the hyper flash issue. They told me that the bulbs in my video are the new improved ones that have Longer Decoding time, so they say it will not hyper flash any more. I have not had any issues, and we have some long stop lights here.

@@Wolf-oe7ko beside the switchbacks which other lights that you have switched are your favorite?
@fredsgarage1925 the cargo lights, it comes in handy because the oem ones were bright enough for me to see while I cook when I camp but the leds light the bed more and the light spills out a good distance if the tailgate is down. The third brake like is nice because, the brake lights are already bright with the led change but the third just adds that needed brightness. I did all of it so I can be seen better but it helps me see more things. I also added reflectors so people can see me infront of them, because maverick typically can hit in the back
