@@johncampbell2486 Hello, ok I would make sure that you are getting power to both splices. It is very easy for the splices to not cut enough wire insulation to get electricity from the wire. So what I would do is use a test light to see that you definitely have power at the splices. If you do not have a test light swap the wires at the splices and see if the opposite light comes on, then you definitely know that one is not powered. Then open the splices and make sure it has seated properly around the wire. If you do have power on both, then the light has an issue. One last thing if you have a lariat, then scroll down a few comments and you will see an exchange where the lariat passenger side is a different wire color. Hope his makes sense and please let me know how you make out.

I did try reconnecting the blue wire on the passenger side and they now work correctly. Also to all, make sure you seal the backside with a gasket sealer before you install them. I had to reinstall the passenger side due to water leaking.

It was in 4ft of water from the hurricane. The owner was called at 1 am by onstar. When the owner informed onstar that the car was in the garage under the house onstar told them to evacuate. The truck the blew up, caving in the ceiling drywall and blowing out the 2nd floor window above it. The reason the car wasn’t burnt to the ground was the 4 ft of seawater it was in.

No, the blinker should be the same spread as the front and rear blinker. All 3 should match. If all 3 are faster. I would try this. Unplug the fender light and see if the blinkers slow down. If the blinkers are still faster then ford programmed them wrong. Let me know what you find out. Thanks

Did you ever add led lights to the rear? The only time that ever happened to me was when I tried to add Lasfit led turn light bulbs. I didn’t like the faster blinking on the dash and returned to the original halogen. I do not know why the left would be faster.

Yes, I have been lucky. I have never had my Maverick go into sleep mode. Even with this dash camera installed. I drive it about 4-5 times a week as I alternate with my Bronco. ( honestly prefer driving the Maverick in congested traffic much more ) unless there is a unknown electrical draw I really believe Ford just added the cheapest 12 volt battery they could. When I reach my 3 year anniversary here, I live in Florida where in the summer the inside of the truck can be easily over 100 degrees, bad for batteries. I am installing the highest amperage battery I can fit. Definitely a AGM battery. If you have a hybrid you need to make sure you have an outside vent for the vent tube or a non venting battery since it’s under the rear seat. I hate suggesting this, but if you buy it at a place that allows you to return the battery say within 30 days. Swap it out, hold onto your original battery and see if it fixes the issue. If it does turn in your old battery for the core charge. If it doesn’t the return the battery and trace down the draw. Good luck and let me know how it turned out.

I’m only 5’7” and the mirror bugs me also. When I picked up my truck the mirror shaft was angled downward and I could not see anything. So what I did was angle up my mirror rod so the mirror now almost touches the plastic cover I removed in the video. It’s still low but much more livable now. I install the camera mainly because my sine will get his driver license in December and I want video proof of his driving or god forbid he gets into an accident.

I agree, so this is what I can tell you so far. The video quality is much better, especially at night than my thinkware Ford one in my Bronco. It is 4K where the Bronco one is 1089p. It will take a few minutes for the app and the camera to sinc for the first time then its connects easy The app is much easier to use then the thinkware one. The he most important is that my Maverick has never had a battery issue and this camera has not placed the Maverick in @deep sleep mode.” The longest I have left the Maverick without driving was 2 days. I do not not remove the SD card. This is how I do it, first I used my iPhone and did all the editing on that. Then I bought a DJI Osmo pocket 3 combo pack. It came with the microphone. The osmo 3 follows you by itself. So I now shoot the video, the camera wirelessly connects to the DJI Mimo app on my iPad then I down load the video to my iPad. Once down loaded the camera is done and I edit and upload the video to RUclips from my iPad. Hope this helped, any questions please ask.

@@DokDream Hello, I also have a hybrid, the wiring that I am using in the video are the ford factory wiring with the added pigtail that ford gave us. (Only one )( if you need another pigtail for the other side amazon sells them, they are in my description section). As far as trailer hitch is concerned, you need to go through a trailer wiring harness with built in control box, like a Curt or something similar. I just wired my Bronco trailer connection and the kit plugs into my taillight but also ran a 12 gauge fused power wire directly to the battery. I love the solar bedcover, a company called Worksport just developed that idea. Their website would be a good resource. Hope this helped. Good luck.

I ordered from them because they have a gas tanks get plate and they’re reasonably priced. I plan on making some videos on the skid plates in a couple of weeks but I’ve had the bumper now for over a year and it’s been perfect. ARB was my second choice, but no gas tank plate and more money.

@@shahidkhan-uq9mm yes, it will still work. All you would have to do if you remove the clips are add either a little electrical tape or even better a drop of liquid electrical tape.

I have had mine for almost a year, they have been outside through two hurricanes, 3 coming this week and have been working perfectly. Only advice I can give is take your time with the wiring clips. A lot of people do not splice into the wire and then have a tough time finding the issue. Good luck, it’s well worth it.

Just another question, I saw some reviews stating that condensation gets into the housing of the lights, have you had any issues like these? I just installed mine, I didn’t use the included clips for connections, I actually did proper wiring and used heat shrink. Your video helped a lot on the wiring diagram though. And the lights looked amazing at the end.

You’re way of connecting the wires are much better. Water intrusion, I do not use car washes. I honestly believe that is the reason. I live in Clearwater Beach. My truck stays outside full time. It’s been through 2 hurricanes and 2 tropical storm’s plus weekly down pours. My lights have always worked perfectly and do not have any condensation in them. I am evacuating in a couple of hours and will definitely need you prayers for this Hurricane. Milton is looking like a 1 in 100 year storm.

Hi, thanks. The rear is easier in my opinion. Here is the install video. Now I attached it to the roll bar looking out the rear window so when I take the top off the camera stays. In the video I attached the camera with the double sided d tap. It only stayed for 2 days. I ended up using some Gorilla glue hot glue and it’s been on for over a year. @@shimes424 I mean yes they did? They cut corners with basic things like panel gaps, but battery tech is somewhere they've made a bunch of gains. Safety was something they figured out ages ago. Yes they still catch fire sometimes, just like petrol vehicles do. Both need to store a ton of energy somewhere they can pull out tons at a moments notice - so there's always the possibility that batteries and fuel can end up in a runaway reaction. Musk bought Twitter because he's insane at a minimum. Just because there's something wrong with him doesn't mean that Tesla and SpaceX in particular are invalidated.

I’m sure the owner of the Hummer is happy to hear that. He had 3 cars in his garage. The fire department pulled out the Hummer and his model Y. Out of the garage, they left the gas powered convertible in the garage. All 3 were surrounded by 3 -4 ft of seawater due to the hurricane we just had.
