As OhManDan stipulated, the X lineup is Minin Motors flagship line of scooters but we can forget the mixup with the wrong motors that were on the Storm Limited. I would easily say get the X2 because I know exactly what you're getting, but I wouldn't want you to miss out on the upgraded X-Limited model if it meets your budget. That's why I'd just wait for the X-Limited to drop.

It's a major job to to do a ture swap on a Dualtron or adjust brakes because EVERY thing is dialed in so tightly. There's hardly any extra cable, room, areas or any space to actually MOD a Dualtron Brand Scooter. You will find yourself most likely spending a lotta money and then have to pay a Dualtron Expert to correct all the damage you did. It would be best to just BUY a NEW Dualtron or exchange (if you qualify) it for the NEWER Model. Trust me when I say, it is NOT WORTH the headache trying to MOD a Dualtron unless this is something YOU DO and have DONE and are very familiar with because it will COST you more than the actual Scooter is worth and you'd find you could've just bought the NEW ONE and been HAPPY as a lark. Here’s an interesting thought. So, the deck is 5” longer than the previous deck, which is significant. How do you think this will affect the reach to the handle bars if you mount a seat? I’m particularly attracted to this model for many reasons, including the huge deck AND seat option (which I believe is the best seat option for any scooter currently available), but now wondering if using a seat setup on this new X Ltd. will be awkward considering it’s that much further back on the deck versus the X2. Almost seems like this needs an adjustable stem (like an adjustable steering wheel in a car), just to reach the damn thing when seated! 😬 Your thoughts ohmandan?
Hey @Sallutz... that's a great observation but the X and X2 has such a short Deck that the seat really crowds it. I truly believe that the added 5" is going to be such a significant improvements that it will be the most reasonable improvement of ALL the improvements. The freedom to ride unabridged will CHANGE the whole experience for GOOD. Takes the whole "X" experience to a massive level of JOY.

Having a crowded deck with a seat attached is exactly why I am shying away from purchasing a Wolf King GT....although Voro makes a seat for the GT, it just cramps the deck so much that I’m not feelin it as a good choice any more, for me. The new Dualtron X Ltd. on the other hand, with a gigantic deck and now 5” longer than the previous, you make a great point, in that it just may be the best rig for having a seat, so long as sitting on it is still within reach of the handle bars 👍🏻😬 I’ll be looking forward to seeing your unboxing and review, once you have the unit. I waited nine months for my X2 During Covid and when I got it I held onto it for three months and sold it . Harsh loud clanky heavy no thanks And I also have a storm and the only reason I didn’t sell that is because I fell on it and scratched it up… But it too is loud clanky and just not smooth ….Unless you have the eco button pushed in you’re flying off the back Sweet spot in my opinion is the VSETT 10+ And if you really want to go crazy the 11+ 72volt is an absolute monster … But it’s heavy and it’s not very portable… wonderfully smooth That’s my take

The Dualtron Brand is not for everyone. It is Square Wave and will have a more aggressive acceleration. The MOTORS are loud to a Scooter as Harley Davidsons are to a Motorcycle (totally awesome sound) Dualtrons pack a lot of Power and being Square Wave it is for that hard core Power eNthusiast. Of course I fall in that Power eNthusiast Group. I have bought more Dualtron Power Beast Scooters than any other Consumer in the Country and as far as I know, the world. I have bought more collective Power Scooters counting my other 19 Power Beast Scooters Purchased. I've probably ridden just about every Power Beast Scooter there is. I love SquareWave, SineWave and FOC Controlled Scooters. It depends what I'm looking for when I select which Scooter I'm going to Ride from my Collection on any given day. I didn't like the Vsette Super 72. I owned it for two months and gave it away. Just didn't have the bang I expected (my Grandson is having a blast on it). I do like the Vsette 10+ though. They may have IP Ratings but that IP Rating is not a pass to run your Scooter through water. The IP Ratings that you see on Scooters are only for splash, sprinkles and/or dust. Not for any SUBMERSION, Puddles or even rain. Scooters are not Waterproof- none of them. So, having an IP Rating really doesn't make much difference because with one, you still have to avoid any type of saturating water. I bought a dualtron thunder 2 but never again. To stubborn on using the horrible square controller. You get on a brand new machine, latest and greatest, then pull the throttle and you literally jerk forward. Need to advance to the future instead of staying in the past. I recently got to try a scooter with a good sine wave controller . Man what a huge difference. Much,much better. So smooth, much more efficient. Way more fun. Wish i had bought a different scooter. 183lbs scooter? Not a chance. Bought my dualtron thunde 2 not realizing how terrible a square controller is. Especially in a high power scooter. Yes, obviously a square controller is easier to just throw in a scooter and less expensive. But eventually companies need to advance to today and the future…

They ALL serve very different purposes and bring me unique satisfactory outcomes per EACH Brand and Unit. I own 34 Power Scooters and I have SquareWave, SineWave and FOC controlled Scooters. Each one bring me different levels of Satisfaction. You would have to actually own different Models to really understand WHAT I'm talking about. It isn't a bad thing for You to like SquareWave and I to like SineWave or vice versa. It's all about individual PREFERENCE, NEED, USE, RIDE STYLE, EXPERIENCE and BUDGET when it comes to CHOOSING our Scooters and WHAT makes us HAPPY and it's OK Buddy for us to be different and LIKE DIFFERENT things. That's what makes us Human, right? They are quite unique... You're right there in your complaints. I like to say, "SquareWave is to Scooters, what Harley Davidson is to Motorcycles" (gritty, loud, aggressive and powerful) SineWave is less threatening, easier to control, quiet, smoother and all that makes it very attractive and appealing to any Rider (especially all of our newer Riders out there) most SquareWave Lovers are over the top THRILL SEEKERS and love that gritty, loud, aggressive and powerful feel that SquareWave BRINGS to the table. Hi Dan, I preordered for the X ltd. Can you please advice whether the current X2 has similar acceleration to the Storm ltd? I tested ride the Storm ltd, and I just didn't like the acceleration at all, its way too quick for me.

Both Storm Model Scooters are very powerful and aggressive eScooters (they are ONLY for experienced eNthusiasts) many of us, including me love that Power and Harley Davidson feel that those SquareWave Controllers offer those particular Dualtron Models.
No, you won't get that same out of control, twerky and aggressive feel with the Dualtron X2. It's more controlled on the "X" Brand all together. The "X" is just an amazing and very unique type of eScooter. It's not the King of Electric Scooters for nothing. It is the safest, most durable, Stable, and comfortable Ride you'll ever experience on an Electric Scooter and now the Dualtron X Limited is poised to improve on all that...

@@applegeekz I'm sorry, We moved twenty Scooters up to the Tracy NorCal Clubhouse (if you check out my Scooters Scooters Scooters Video you'll see all the Dualtrons there). We have several locations across the Country in houses I own. They don't stay put in one place depending on when, where and why I have to carry one to another State.

Yes, the anti-theft will be activated through the App and lock the wheels of this behemoth... which should prevent it from being taken due to its weight.

I waited nine months for my X2 During Covid and when I got it I held onto it for three months and sold it . Harsh loud clanky heavy no thanks
And I also have a storm and the only reason I didn’t sell that is because I fell on it and scratched it up… But it too is loud clanky and just not smooth ….Unless you have the eco button pushed in you’re flying off the back
Sweet spot in my opinion is the VSETT 10+
And if you really want to go crazy the 11+ 72volt is an absolute monster … But it’s heavy and it’s not very portable… wonderfully smooth

The Dualtron Brand is not for everyone. It is Square Wave and will have a more aggressive acceleration. The MOTORS are loud to a Scooter as Harley Davidsons are to a Motorcycle (totally awesome sound)
Dualtrons pack a lot of Power and being Square Wave it is for that hard core Power eNthusiast.
Of course I fall in that Power eNthusiast Group. I have bought more Dualtron Power Beast Scooters than any other Consumer in the Country and as far as I know, the world. I have bought more collective Power Scooters counting my other 19 Power Beast Scooters Purchased. I've probably ridden just about every Power Beast Scooter there is. I love SquareWave, SineWave and FOC Controlled Scooters. It depends what I'm looking for when I select which Scooter I'm going to Ride from my Collection on any given day.
I didn't like the Vsette Super 72. I owned it for two months and gave it away. Just didn't have the bang I expected (my Grandson is having a blast on it). I do like the Vsette 10+ though.

Why is there no IPX rating for such an expensive high end scooter?

Well Buddy, the first I MUST say, is that... there are no water proof Scooters out on the road. They may have IP Ratings but that IP Rating is not a pass to run your Scooter through water.
The IP Ratings that you see on Scooters are only for splash, sprinkles and/or dust. Not for any SUBMERSION, Puddles or even rain. Scooters are not Waterproof- none of them.
So, having an IP Rating really doesn't make much difference because with one, you still have to avoid any type of saturating water.

You're right... the Dualtron X Limited is definitely NEXT LEVEL. The Dualtron Thunder 2 is an incredible eScooter and has amazing range plus it is a little over 2K more.

I bought a dualtron thunder 2 but never again. To stubborn on using the horrible square controller. You get on a brand new machine, latest and greatest, then pull the throttle and you literally jerk forward. Need to advance to the future instead of staying in the past. I recently got to try a scooter with a good sine wave controller . Man what a huge difference. Much,much better. So smooth, much more efficient. Way more fun. Wish i had bought a different scooter. 183lbs scooter? Not a chance. Bought my dualtron thunde 2 not realizing how terrible a square controller is. Especially in a high power scooter. Yes, obviously a square controller is easier to just throw in a scooter and less expensive. But eventually companies need to advance to today and the future…

SquareWave is NOT for EVERYBODY!
There are advantages to having SquareWave Controllers (i would not go so far as to say, "advantages over SineWaveor FOC" but their own distinct advantages that people who WANT the power, grit, loud, and aggressive character of SquareWave LOVE ❤️
I truly love SquareWave, SineWave and FOC. They ALL serve very different purposes and bring me unique satisfactory outcomes per EACH Brand and Unit. I own 34 Power Scooters and I have SquareWave, SineWave and FOC controlled Scooters. Each one bring me different levels of Satisfaction. You would have to actually own different Models to really understand WHAT I'm talking about.
It isn't a bad thing for You to like SquareWave and I to like SineWave or vice versa. It's all about individual PREFERENCE, NEED, USE, RIDE STYLE, EXPERIENCE and BUDGET when it comes to CHOOSING our Scooters and WHAT makes us HAPPY and it's OK Buddy for us to be different and LIKE DIFFERENT things. That's what makes us Human, right?
They are quite unique... You're right there in your complaints. I like to say, "SquareWave is to Scooters, what Harley Davidson is to Motorcycles" (gritty, loud, aggressive and powerful)
SineWave is less threatening, easier to control, quiet, smoother and all that makes it very attractive and appealing to any Rider (especially all of our newer Riders out there) most SquareWave Lovers are over the top THRILL SEEKERS and love that gritty, loud, aggressive and powerful feel that SquareWave BRINGS to the table. It definitely has its place and audience.
I can understand your sentiment, the SquareWave lovers sentiment and the FOC sentiment. I own them ALL and must say... "I LOVE THEM ALL" Buddy!
