I just subbed you from Arkansas. I saw this kayak at Walmart the other day and decided to look up some reviews. I have a couple of the Tamaracks that I do like. I’m a heavier guy and my favorite home lake has some pretty big gators so I wanted something a little bit bigger. It just donned on me that your the dad from Bells Bucks and Beards. Man, I love y’all’s channel so much. I have been watching it for years now. I really love the panfishing videos!!! Thanks for the honest review my friend.
I went into a lifetime store and saw this in person and was very impressed. It's less expensive than their stealth but has many upgrades from the Tamarack Pro. I would.highly recommend it.
Good vid...Glad you finally got one, too! My wife wanted a Yukon Angler and was in love with the orange on blue color scheme, but when she went to get one, no blue. All they had was a grey camo trimmed in black. Sooo, in the next week or so, we'll be doing a vid on customizing/personalizing hers to suit her.
I am a little late here. I have the same one. It is very stable and east to fish out of. I got it just before the pandemic from Wal-Mart. Very cheap 450 I bought foam golf balls for scupper plugs with washers and Para cord I am5 10 250 lbs very stable easy to stand in and get in and out of. It is heavy to lift ontop of truck. Great to fish out of. Caught 20 small large mouth bass in a remote lake in Northern Wisconsin. It was a mile haul into it. With beach wheels it was very easy. Great kayak
Thanks for the vid! I just bought this boat. Wife gets the 10' Teton Angler I have been using and we can return the borrowed 8' kid kayak to the neighbor. Everybody happy. Good karma by not getting skunked in a new boat! PS - Kayaks are in incredible short supply - I found this one by stalking the Dicks Sporting Goods website and found one close by. Buy immediately or they are gone.
Nice video. Been searching for kayaks to use for fishing and getting access to hard to reach areas for deer hunting. This kayak is at the top of my list based. Just wish it wasn’t $650+ at Dicks Sporting Goods these days. Thanks for sharing your first experience and impressions.
Walmart offers this kayak they just call it the Yukon , and it's in tan for 529$ it the same exact thing , dick's calls it the Teton and has it in blue . Dick's change the name so they don't have to keep it at Walmarts price .
@@marinex9592 it’s slightly different in that it doesn’t have the adjustable foot pedals and not sure what else. An ONLY buy in stock. DO NOT do delivery unless you’re a gambler lol
I have this one and instead of the $14 supper plugs I bought the 0.99 cent rubber boat plugs with the t u twist to tighthen the plugs. Have been on our local small lake and then have been on alot bigger lake and it did very nicely.
I expected it to paddle like a barge lol, but it actually maneuvers really well. I’ve only had it on ponds and strip mine pits and so far I’m happy with it.
Good on water review thanks. I'm in same shoes as you I run a BIGFISH 120 and am sooo used to the stability! At 6'2" an265 lb will I feel comfy/stable enough to use as a river beater thru swifties and current paddling fishing for smallies?? Imma keep it minimalistic and light on add ons/mods. TIA
I have the Yucon it's a great but paddles like a tank maybe upgrade the paddle would help but I can tell you this other than a very slow creeping current you are not going to travel against it I almost took a 5 mile boat float on the Tuckasgee I wasn't ready for had to bail and pull the boat to shore.
Just ordered one in our local Sams Club for $360 total! Im pumped!! Ive already got the Tamarack and Tamarack Pro. Happy to add this to the family

Thank you so much! Yep, I’m the dad from BB&B lol. Hopefully one of these days when Chase isn’t so busy he’ll start putting out some more BB&B videos.
@@HoosierOutdoors Looking forward to it!!!

Just bought one this last weekend can't wait to take it out
Nice! Congrats on the new ride.

“I should take a look at that” *throws it* 😂 I love this guy, you just gained a sub
Thank you for watching and the sub!!

That’s great idea for the scupper plugs!

Still a great deal. Heading to pick one up today

@@MyChaoticFishing I bought mine at Walmart and it has adjustable foot pegs , oh definitely buy in store only . Shipping is to risky
@@marinex9592 oh nice! None within 100 miles had one so I went to dicks
thank you, I too have a feelfree looking for a second kayak for my son who is 16 and is 6'4" wondering if he would fit in that
Yes, if he can fit in the feelfree he’ll be able to fit in this one. Thanks for watching!
Nice review. I like the drone shots!

Thanks for the tip! I haven’t bought the scuppers yet so I’ll definitely give this a try.
Is it really heavy to maneuver? like if I was on a small lake with small waves would it be super hard to paddle this because it’s 80 pounds?
I expected it to paddle like a barge lol, but it actually maneuvers really well. I’ve only had it on ponds and strip mine pits and so far I’m happy with it.
I'm looking at this to get soon.... does it have a mount in the rear for a small trolling motor?
No mount, but you might be able to make it work.
@@HoosierOutdoors a motor would be layer down the road. Main thing is the stability. I wont stand much but looks stable with you seated on it.
@@ScroDiddly Yes, it is very stable. I was impressed!
What's the sku#? I'm seeing a couple of different sku's for that model..
Nice vid..Really missing my kayak.
Are those straps next to the seat just to hold gear?

Great looking kayak for money.
Thanks, I thought so too!
What kind of vibe kayak do you have? How does it compare?
I don’t have a Vibe. I do have a Feelfree Lure 11.5 that this kayak is very comparable to.
Thanks for the review. Camera quality is phenomenal . What are you using to record? ✌🏼
Thanks for watching! I was using a GoPro Hero 8 in that video.
What size of truck bed do you have?
It’s 6 1/2 feet.
@@HoosierOutdoors This one might be a little long for my Tacoma (short bed) but it's nothing a red shirt on the end can't fix :)
They around $650 now,
It’s now the Teton Pro 116 for $650 from Dicks isn’t it?
This is the Lifetime Yukon. It's the same kayak as the Teton Pro 116. Both are made by Lifetime. My local Wal-Mart has the Yukon in stock for $498
Thinking of getting one I have the tahoma already
I'm envious... I just got it at Dick's and best deal I could get was $630
Oh wow. Well, it’s very similar to the feelfree Lure 11.5 and I paid $1100 for that one several years ago!
I don’t think you put plugs in the holes
