Please help! My Tangem app won’t let me withdrawal my funds. It keeps saying I have the wrong card (says it for both cards) and then if I roster the card sown it works and asks for my access code. I put in my access code and then it sends me back to scan the card again, in a never ending loop! I don’t know why it’s doing this. I have the correct access code and I have both of my cards. What gives?

I tried to do a Factory Reset after I couldn't get my cards to setup correctly initially but the video doesn't match the app. I've made a video explaining the problem after the Tangem Team sent me an email asking me to so they can see exactly what the problem is. I'm hoping to get a response later today.
Hi there! You can reset your access code, by selecting the "Forgot your access code?" option after you scan your card. You'll require two cards for verification: the card whose access code you want to modify and an additional card from your backup set for confirmation. Please note that the access code must be reset on each card separately before resetting the card to factory settings.

On my tangem i have Eth, Btc and some more. What i want is send my BTC off the card (to exchange), remove the wallet, create a new btc wallet to obtain a new address. I want the other wallets te remain on the card. Is that possible?
Hey, no. You can have one wallet (set of private keys) at a time. If you reset your cards, make sure to withdraw everything from your wallet first. But multi addresses is in the work 👍

Resetting the wallet means creating new keys and addresses for storing cryptocurrencies. It wipes out all existing keys and assets for security and privacy reasons.
Tangem is using a different protocol than BIP39 to generate the seed phrase from the private key. For this reason you won’t be able to recover the original private key by simply using the seed phrase on a different device because that other device is using BIP39 to generate the private key from the seed phrase.

I like the option of seed phrase but are you prompted for the old access code when trying to recover funds using a new card? That would be a great protection
Hello! The access code is stored within the card's chip. If you are importing a seed phrase to another set of Tangem cards, the access code previously installed on the original set of cards won't be needed.

Hello there! If you remove a wallet from the app, you won't be able to interact with it unless you add it again. (Please note that resetting cards to factory settings is NOT the same as removing it from the app. Factory resetting your cards will result in a loss of your funds if you have no backups. Backups can be other cards or a seedphrase). What you can do is wait for your Ring set to arrive, set it up in the app (you can have both set of devices in the same app). Then transfer your crypto to your shiny new wallet. After having transferred all your crypto from your previous set of cards and making sure that it is completely empty, you can safely factory reset them and give them to your brother. (NFA)

If you want to warn ppl in case they've used the "hidden generated pkeys" instead importing / generating a seed phrase, you should say that. after all, you're not talking to newbies.

Its more like, your keys open the door to the blockchain. By deleting the keys, correct, your assets are still on the blockchain, but they are forever locked away with no method of restoring access.

Yes I noticed this as well. Do you need to restore the back to original settings? Did you manage to do it? I need to do the same.

There is, but most likely the UI has changed since the video was uploaded. The menu items have shifted a bit

Yes of course, but we would rather you begin with a brand new seedphrase or better yet go seedless!

Hi there! You will be able to import the seed phrase into another set of Tangem cards and gain access to the wallet and its funds.
It's a bit strange. How are all assets lost if cards are reset, when you have the seed phrase?

Tangem is using a different protocol than BIP39 to generate the seed phrase from the private key. Your assumption is not correct, we do use the BIP39 protocol to generate the seed phrase.
