Just bought the Tangem... I like the fact that there is no battery charging and its durability. Safety, they both seem safe. As long as the Gov can't get to the tokens or a hacker
@TangemAnswers I am concerned about moving tokens around. I've heard some scary stories. Is there a way to reach out to you if I'm not sure what to do? The setup seems straightforward. It's more of moving tokens from Photon to Phantom, to then move them to Tangem. Coinbase to Tangem seems again to be straightforward. Let me know. I haven't started the process yet. Probably tomorrow or the next day.

Great info mate thanks. Just wondering if tangem will have to eventually make updates to the firmware in the card to keep it secure. 5 to 10 years down the track.
Good question, hard to say though. The chips used in these cards and other cold wallets have been tested and proven secure for decades in other applications (bank cards, passports, etc). While future tech advancements might lead to upgrades, these cards should remain secure and relevant for a long time imo.
Great informative content as usual. Ledger Nano X is my cold cold wallet. I send crypto from Ledger to Tangem then use Tangem to my off ramps etc. I have D'Cent and Tresor 3. D'Cent is the most difficult to use and I find it's QR codes difficult to be read for example by Ledger Live. I've basically stopped using D'Cent. Tangem is the wallet I recommend to friends and colleagues for its ease of use, price and swapping functionality. I didn't know it existed back in 2021 when I bought my first crypto as Ledger seemed to be getting the lion's share of publicity hence starting with Ledger. Cheers Hamish
@@hamishmaclean3920 Thanks! DCENT is subpar to say the least. Completely closed source software is concerning. Happy to hear you enjoy Tangem and diversify your funds across different wallets. Cheers

Awesome. That’s what I like about Tangem myself. Secure, durable, discrete.
