Got mine as well!! Love it. Was super easy to migrate my crypto over from the Nano X. And it's a much easier experience to us this device. I wish I could've got the Stax, it looks super cool, but I just couldn't justify spending over $600 CAD on it.
@@cyberscrilla Your video is very complete you describe very well continue like this you will get far I already subscribed to your channel I had problems trying to use the flex as a key 🔑 and I didn't know that I should download an app inside the flex 💪 thank you
Yep. It’s just as safe as the Flex or Stax. Passphrases are great for security. I can’t say how much safer it is because I dont know how I would measure that. But consider this: If someone got access to your seed phrase, you’d be screwed. However, if you’re using a passphrase and a majority of your crypto is stored on this passphrase (aka hidden wallet), they wouldn’t even know it exists and your crypto would remain safe.
@@cyberscrilla the nano X allows you to set a second permanent pin to remember the 25th word. I was wondering if the flex allows for having more than 1 secondary pin.
Features i would like to see from Ledger: - Display only viewable when looking directly/straight at it - Option to randomly position the numbers so fingerprints or hand movement cant be used to know the pin - Fingerprint sensor to confirm low amount transactions (configurable) - Alternative account with different PIN so when someone holds a gun to your head u just show them the fake account - HW/firmware version which does not include code to send the private key to anyone - 10x more app storage
I’ll bite. 1. A screen protector will achieve this and allow others who don’t want that feature to not be forced to have it. 2. Ledger already offers this. I showed it in the video. 3. Would be cool. Ledger live does offer biometrics already. I know it’s not the same. 4. You can create alternative accounts. It’s called a hidden wallet and you can create as many of them as you want. 5. I spoke to Ledger about using a different firmware and it would make zero difference. Just like any other app you can install on Ledger, the Recover service operates independently. So if you don’t want it, simply don’t use it. 6. More app storage would be nice.
@@cyberscrilla 4. idk it has to be smarter than a hidden wallet - for that i can just have another wallet - it must fool the guys robbing me into believing i have less than i actualy have - i guess once they see the ledger live app balance this game is kinda over for now isn't it
thx taking the time - i hope its clear i would like to love their products but there is always something in the way they go about things that bugs me .. and they actually think people are gonna buy multiple stax because of their laughable 56k storage (or whatever it is because somehow its impossible to get something like a data sheet from their page). Also quite a few firmware updates for something that should have been secure in the first place - yet no details on what they actually addressed. Maybe their enterprise products offer some more details have a great weekend!
The point of a hidden wallet is literally the scenario you described. Keep the majority of your funds in a hidden wallet. When confronted, you could give them your seed phrase and they wouldn’t be able to access your hidden wallet because they wouldn’t know it exists.
Thank you for your review. I'm curious if Ledger will implement SLIP39 in the future? I want to connect my few wallets to my multiple backup seed phrases. I also gave a request for Tangem to implement this, but for now, only Trezor has that option.
Mann! I've got questions, what Crypto platform do you use and do you usually pay for the crypto, do you use those foreign payroll portals such as moonpay, link, guardian and stuff like that? I ask because yesterday I got hacked bad. Smh
@@cyberscrilla That's a good question but I think it's from going on those payroll portal sites to try and complete the buying process for the Crypto. When you go on those portals like Link, Transik, Moonpay, Guardian and stuff, they ask for things like socials, of course the payment option in which you would put something like your paypal, bank Card, etc,. I think I got hacked doing this and they got me but lucky I noticed It quick enough to be able to stop serious damage in time. When you from NY also, it's much harder to trade Crypto
@@cyberscrilla The huge problem for someone like me is that being from NY, it is extremely difficult to trade Crypto and especially for those meme coins like I want. You gotta do all sorts of methods to try and get them, more than the average person. NY is the most blocked or strict state when it comes to Crypto, PERIOD! I've been trying to get stuff like Kaspa, Neiro, and some other Projects I've noticed but it's been a battle.
Trezor's site says its devices use an NDA-free EAL6+ chip, and they are fully open source. So sorry, but any so called security enhancements via integration with the screen are automatically made irrelevant because of Ledger Recover.
False, Ledger Recover does not make Ledger less secure. It’s an optional service that requires the user to sign up, submit ID, a debit card, and approve it via their device like any transaction. Also, Ledger Recovery is open source. Don’t like the service, don’t use it. Simple
You can still power it using the cable. I think the real question you’re asking is what happens if the wallet stops working in general? Well, that’s what your seed phrase is for. You can import your seed phrase into basically any brand hardware wallet and continue managing your crypto. Crypto is not stored on the hardware. The hardware only holds your key. So as long as you have your key, you can access your crypto.
i wonder how long the battery will last? my ledger X battery died and had to buy a new one and look for seed phrase not fun when you have 7 ledgers 2 jades 2 onekey 2 tangem the ledger S plus does not have batteries so none of them have ever died on me
Not sure, but it’s much better than the old Nano’s in my experience. The old Nanos had issues, but they have since fixed that. And to your point, even when the battery dies it still works plugged in, similar to a Trezor wallet.
@@cyberscrilla the fact that ledge now offers you the ability to opt-in the ability to send your seed phrases to multiple third parties for back up is a potential security risk. In cyber security we call that multiple attack vectors. Now you don't have to just trust yourself to store your keys you have to hope that the third-parties don't have a data breach, which is very common now a days. Everyone in the security space knows how dumb the ledger seed phrases back-up feature is. Just wait until we all hear about one of ledgers third-parties supposedly being "hacked" 😁
Yes, this is common practice. It doesn’t necessarily have to be an additional device, but at the very least, a different seed phrase (wallet). It’s just more convenient to use multiple devices.
It’s because the secure element has limited memory. And that’s where the operating system exists, along with any apps you download. So essentially, they prioritized security over memory
@@cyberscrilla Thx for your response. It should be possible to outsource the app data to another memory chip, so only the security relevant data is stored on the security chip. It is hard to believe this is a technical limitation nowadays.
@@cyberscrilla can’t say i disagree tbh. Just haven’t seen anyone bundle inheritance into an HWW and this weird concept of generating the keys every transaction? It’s at least odd how they present it. Will watch for the review out of curiosity
That’s subjective. One main the main differences would be usability. Trezor is mainly a desktop only device and doesn’t have a battery. Ledger can be fully used on both mobile and desktop and uses a battery. I feel comfortable storing my crypto on either though.
They both have their uses. Tangem is still more convenient and more durable. But the Flex has more security features including the U2FA which is awesome for securing all my online accounts. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either.
@@cyberscrilla Air gap does increase security, any security savvy person knows this It increases security ultimately by reducing the time vector of an attack In terms of protection during a transaction, then air gap doesn't enhance security but only if your hardware connection is secured and not joining an existing network with compromised devices in it
You saw many people’s Ledgers compromised? Where did you see that? How were they compromised? I’d bet it was user error. Not a wallet issue. So you only trust open source code? Are you reading the code yourself? Or are you trusting someone else to tell you it’s safe? Also, 95% of Ledger is open source. Only thing that isn’t is the secure element chip.
I think there was an issue with early nano models that has since been fixed. And you don’t have to “get your assets off” a hardware wallet. They’re not stored on the wallet. As long as you have your seed phrase you have your assets. You can just import it into a new wallet. Also, Ledger wallets still work plugged in (if the battery is toast). Similar to a Trezor, which uses no battery
Stupid question which I think I know the answer to. I have the keystone wallet - I kept the seed phrase and transferred it to my OneKey - and the coins are safe and sound and show up on the OneKey app. Is it okay for me to wipe and smash the keystone and throw it away and delete the okx app - I’m assuming yes - since it’s not about the hardware and the app but about ALL ABOUT protecting the seed phrase. I know, I should know the answer but I don’t want to do anything stupid.
@@cyberscrilla thanks for the support. Yeah, all the funds are on one key - but ultimately it’s all about the seed phrase. The keystone is useless. It won’t charge. I tried to do a firmware update but it says not enough battery, but it won’t charge beyond a certain point. The only way I can use it is if it’s plugged in - that has to be the worst wallet on the planet (for me). Smashing because I want to destroy the chip. I’ll keep the OneKey and Flex as my long term wallets.
@@cyberscrilla did you want to DM me the instructions? Believe it or not or not I got 2 of those keystone pieces of 💩 and the other one doesn’t get beyond 0 percent. Seriously - the worst wallet in the market.
@@cyberscrilla hard to beat a secured lock box in a bank, insurance helps also. It’s affordable, depends on the quantity of wealth you hold to be fair. Nothing more secure than this method, hardware wallets, fun and all, but can have issues.
As I explained in the video, 95% of Ledger’s code is open source. The only part that’s closed source is the low-level code that talks to the hardware blocks of the Secure Element. Ledger’s agreement with the chip maker, STMicroelectronics, legally prevents them from exposing this code, and for a good reason.
TL;DR: Source-code secured by closed-source is not secure by any means. To be clear: There is absolutely no reason not to open-source any software regarding security or cryptography. As - how you said - there would be any vulnerabilities if the source-code was open-sourced that would be a major issue of which we just don't know when not open sourced. So thats not an argument to me (and should be for noone).
Any wallet that uses this level of secure element chip (EAL certified) is closed source (the chip part). This also includes tens of billions of bank cards that use the exact same chip around the world. And it’s not only a security concern, which we can agree to disagree on, but an intellectual property concern. There are very few companies in the world that have the resources or knowledge to manufacture EAL-Certified Secure elements. These companies have spent over 40 years researching/developing along with billions of dollars to get us to where we are today. No way would they share their code so someone could steal it. The balance between transparency and security is complex, and simply open-sourcing all software doesn’t automatically make it more secure; it can increase risk by giving attackers more tools to work with. That said, Ledger (and other wallets) are consistently working to be as open source as possible without putting their devices/users at risk. That’s why Ledger is already 95% open source.
I’m confused, is this a review or a regurgitation of Ledger’s marketing? Especially concerned with just repeating their claims about why it’s okay to have a closed source operating system, or that “95%” of their stuff is open source, so somehow it’s okay to have a closed source OS?
Their OS is not closed source. The only closed source part is a small portion that talks directly to the secure element chip. Basically any wallet using an EAL-certified chip must also close source this part of their code for legal reasons and to protect the chip manufacturer’s IP (NGRAVE, Tangem, Safepal, etc)
@@cyberscrilla You are proving my point and repeating their marketing claims without consulting with an independent technical expert. Ledger BOLOS is a closed source operating system. It doesn't matter if a bunch of other stuff is open source, if the actual OS running on the secure element is a closed source black box.
"Ledger has implemented the first ever what they're calling secure touchscreen the screen on a flex is powered directly by an EAL6+ secure element chip which has never been done before in the hardware wallet industry (...)" Never done before, uh? Trezor Safe 3 did it first. You make some nice Ledger ads, it's a shame they are so inaccurate...
My guy. First off, the Safe 3 isn’t a touchscreen so you’re already wrong there 😂 And if you’re talking about the Safe 5 which is a touchscreen, it may use an EAL chip, but it’s not connected directly to the screen like it is on the Flex. The Safe 5 uses a 160MHz embedded ARM processor (Cortex M33) AND a Secure element. And the Safe 3 uses a 180MHz embedded ARM processor (Cortex M4) AND a secure element. Whereas the Flex ONLY uses an EAL Chip which is connected directly to the screen (it has no other MCU in it). Do some more research. Then come back to me before spreading misinformation. - Alex
You provide zero context, so this is a baseless claim. How did he lose it? Do you believe Ledger stole your BTC? I don’t think so. Is it possible that he interacted with a malicious dapp? Most likely. 99% of wallet “hacks” aren’t hacks at all. They are user error. No hardware wallet is immune to connecting to a malicious dapp, and the user unknowingly approving access to specific funds. Unfortunately, it happens all too often. That said, I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a terrible feeling to lose money, especially 7 BTC worth!! This is why it’s crucial to educate yourself, especially when dealing with self-custody. Cold storage is not meant to interact with dapps. It should remain cold. Use separate wallets for different tasks. One only for storage. Another for interacting online. Do this and you won’t get “hacked”. At least, your cold wallet won’t.
That is completely inaccurate Ledger is 95% open source. The only thing that’s closed source is the small amount of code that talks to the EAL certified chip. And guess what? That’s the case for basically any wallet using an EAL certified chip. Safepal, Ngrave, Tangem, same thing. So if you’re going to call Ledger out, make sure to call everyone else out too. There is so much misinformation and FUD about ledger it’s actually annoying. Simply because people won’t do basic research. Please, DYOR. Stop listening to random internet larps. You are incorrect. Both wallets use the same organic TFT E-INK screen. But they have different screen covers. Stax uses an anti-glare plastic cover. Flex uses an anti glare gorilla glass cover.
@@cyberscrilla 😂 Oh yeah? Where’s that written champ? Makes sense that ledger would want to use the same plastic screen but then ADD a glass cover to, you know, keep costs down and protect plastic with glass. Are you going to point at the tweet as evidence, that explicitly states it’s for Stax? 😂 Another content creator clown that has no idea what they are talking about. 🤣🤡
Lol. Why are you being hostile? I’m simply explaining what the Ledger website clearly has posted. You said I was not correct, and now I’m correcting you. Go to the website, go to the Flex or Stax, scroll down to near bottom of the page. There you will see wallet comparison. You will see the Stax: “Enjoy a curved E Ink touchscreen” And the Flex: “Featuring a secure E Ink touchscreen” Then scroll down further, tap “Expand the full comparison”, scroll down to “Physical characteristics”, here you will see the Stax uses an “ultra thin screen cover with anti-glare coating”. And the flex uses a “Gorilla Glass screen cover with anti-glare coating”. Also, I have the flex and I can confirm it is it a plastic E Ink screen.
@@cyberscrilla…At no point does that explicitly state that the Flex uses a plastic screen. E-ink screen is not explicitly plastic… The flex has a glass screen, I also have it. Perhaps you and I have a different understanding of what glass is 😂 Where you would be incorrect.

Explain “everything a normal chip does”? Because the mcu chip used in a tv remote is far different and less secure than a secure element specifically designed for the payment industry and cryptography. If you think Ledger is doing crazy stuff by using a secure element, then you must also think 80% of other hardware wallets on the market are crazy right? Because they also use a secure element, including NGRAVE who uses multiple secure elements.
@@cyberscrilla you seem to have said in the video its a great move to put all logic in the secure element and i'm simply pointing out others are not doing that for a reason because the secure element should never change its software it should stay secure by not changing - now when u put UI logic into that secure element chances are much much higher that u add a mistake which will later be exploited. granted there is a risk that the UI controller part + software might get hacked but running 3rd party apps inside the secure element ... please ... obviously its a great idea to protect the signing process by a secure element with EAL7+ ... but thats not happening is it? They went with EAL6+ I guess i dont like that they sell it at this insane price point and that they like to "try out new things" in sector which should rely on proven security. They don't seem to have much confidence in their security concept if it can not be shared a little. All in all they don't seem the right wallet for people who want to store serious amounts when i listen to how the CEO brushes off serious concerns - then opens a beer to look like "regular joe" ... Is at least the problem gone that u can't fit all your apps on one device? Whats the capacity on the thing?
Considering the secure element is closed source, an exploit is unlikely. Also, Ledger has been using their custom BOLOS OS for years on the secure element in all their wallets. Many hardware wallets don’t even use an OS, they just store everything in the device’s firmware. This is a risk because if the apps on the device are managed by the firmware, they can communicate with each other. Meaning if there’s a vulnerability in any of the apps, the firmware must be updated. But with Ledger’s OS, each app operates independently from one another. This ensures the firmware and other apps remain secure even if a malicious app is downloaded. So it’s nothing new they’re doing, they’ve been doing it since 2016. The new and innovative part is connecting it directly to the touchscreen. No wallet had done that yet-until the Stax/Flex.
@@cyberscrilla yeah well i've seen some exploits they fixed in the past and these weren't exactly something that inspired confidence - like the response time of "wrong password" dialog would depend on how many digits u already got right of the pin - that should have never made into production. so i'm bit worried ... but ur right the when saying its probably the best experience and if u store below 50k its gonna be a great tool

Love to hear it! The flex is great! Fortunately it offers all the same security features as the Stax
Nice review as always - keep them coming. Is there any other wallet - besides the KS3 Pro that allows to manage multiple wallets?
Thanks! And not that I know of at the top of my head.
Thanks for the video bro
Thanks for watching!
@@cyberscrilla Your video is very complete you describe very well continue like this you will get far I already subscribed to your channel I had problems trying to use the flex as a key 🔑 and I didn't know that I should download an app inside the flex 💪 thank you
excellent review..
Thank you for watching!
Bought it and used your link. I have the one key as well. Getting rid of the keystone (complete junk). 😮
Thank you!
Would you consider the Nano X safe? And how much safer does using a 25th word make it compared to not using a Passphrase? Thanks
I would love to hear (or see a video) a comparison of this one with trezor safe 5 :)
Great idea!
Can the flex handle more than 2 PIN numbers? I like my nano x and I wish I could store additional permanent accounts with the 25th word.
PIN numbers? No. But you can setup and access as many hidden wallets (25th words) as you want.
@@cyberscrilla the nano X allows you to set a second permanent pin to remember the 25th word. I was wondering if the flex allows for having more than 1 secondary pin.
You can have one secondary PIN per passphrase (25th word) on the Flex.
Features i would like to see from Ledger:
- Display only viewable when looking directly/straight at it
- Option to randomly position the numbers so fingerprints or hand movement cant be used to know the pin
- Fingerprint sensor to confirm low amount transactions (configurable)
- Alternative account with different PIN so when someone holds a gun to your head u just show them the fake account
- HW/firmware version which does not include code to send the private key to anyone
- 10x more app storage
I’ll bite.
Maybe their enterprise products offer some more details
have a great weekend!
The point of a hidden wallet is literally the scenario you described. Keep the majority of your funds in a hidden wallet. When confronted, you could give them your seed phrase and they wouldn’t be able to access your hidden wallet because they wouldn’t know it exists.
Hey, to each their own.
Another great video thanks but can you do TREZOR SAFE vs LEDGER STEX short video if you can thanks.
Ledger Flex vs which one? Safe 3 or Safe 5?
Last time I bought a ledger they never gave me the $30 of bitcoin I was supposed to get. I emailed them a few times and Ledger never responded.
Can you make a stax vs flex ?
When I have the Stax I will.
Thank you for your review. I'm curious if Ledger will implement SLIP39 in the future?
I want to connect my few wallets to my multiple backup seed phrases.
I also gave a request for Tangem to implement this, but for now, only Trezor has that option.
Im sure we’ll see it in more wallets eventually.
Mann! I've got questions, what Crypto platform do you use and do you usually pay for the crypto, do you use those foreign payroll portals such as moonpay, link, guardian and stuff like that? I ask because yesterday I got hacked bad. Smh
How’d you get hacked?
@@cyberscrilla That's a good question but I think it's from going on those payroll portal sites to try and complete the buying process for the Crypto. When you go on those portals like Link, Transik, Moonpay, Guardian and stuff, they ask for things like socials, of course the payment option in which you would put something like your paypal, bank Card, etc,. That would be cool!
Is it better secure then the nano x ?
Usability wise, it’s WAY better.
Security wise, it’s the same.
Simple
@@cyberscrilla this isn’t false, learn security risk management
Is sending crypto to an exchange to sell easier with the flex?
It’s the same process regardless of which wallet you use. Super simple process, only takes seconds.
Tangem already had that same security chip.
@@conraddevilliers5420 yes, many wallets use an EAL6+ chip. Thats why I say it’s industry standard at this point
Seems like this is way more user friendly when it comes to transferring crypto
Oh definitely. And you can use it with your phone or computer. It’s really smooth.
I been wondering how long you going to trust that the iPhone 8 is going to work for your crypto?
I only use it to make videos. I don’t use the 8 in day-to-day life.
Hehe ok good to hear. Was wondering if you really used that old phone to handle your crypto😂
And even then. I would trust it. I don’t use it for anything, and it doesn’t even have a SIM. So it’s probably safer than my current phone.
Gonna buy this on tuesday does it stillxneed computer for transaction?
Nice! You can use your phone or computer with Ledger Live to manage your crypto and transact
@cyberscrilla so basically it's not on the go if i was out I'd still need the computer
It is on the go. I just said: you can use your PHONE or COMPUTER.
I use my ledger wallet outside at the park no issues
WHAT HAPPEN WHEN THE BATTERY DIE?
I hate how dim the screen is. It’s a bummer
No backlight means you can’t use it in the dark
I just migrated from ledger to Trezor. Not risking my digital assets with ledgers security concerns.
What security concerns would that be?
@@cyberscrilla the fact that ledge now offers you the ability to opt-in the ability to send your seed phrases to multiple third parties for back up is a potential security risk. In cyber security we call that multiple attack vectors.
Now you don't have to just trust yourself to store your keys you have to hope that the third-parties don't have a data breach, which is very common now a days.
Everyone in the security space knows how dumb the ledger seed phrases back-up feature is. Just wait until we all hear about one of ledgers third-parties supposedly being "hacked" 😁
so set up can only be one or the other? desktop or mobile?
You can use it on both desktop and mobile. Obviously, you’ll only use one for the initial setup. But once it’s setup, then you can use it on both.
So is it recommended to have more than one device to store your crypto?
Yes, this is common practice.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be an additional device, but at the very least, a different seed phrase (wallet).
It’s just more convenient to use multiple devices.
@@cyberscrilla ok. I think I’m understanding
Let me know if you have any questions
Why there is case that someone needs to use it when it is dark?
Not sure.
why do they only use 1MB ... thats really dumb for such a price tag
Have you ever used Keevo Wallet? Was curious, seems large and apparently has built-in inheritance tools?
No, it looks cool. It’s just a lot. I like simple and secure. I plan to review it though.
@@cyberscrilla can’t say i disagree tbh.
Just haven’t seen anyone bundle inheritance into an HWW and this weird concept of generating the keys every transaction? It’s at least odd how they present it. Will watch for the review out of curiosity
Which is best .. ledger vs trezor
That’s subjective.
One main the main differences would be usability.
Trezor is mainly a desktop only device and doesn’t have a battery.
Ledger can be fully used on both mobile and desktop and uses a battery.
I feel comfortable storing my crypto on either though.
Does it link to websites apps and extensions that connect to nano X/S?
Yes, you can connect it to dapps.
Do you prefer this to tangem?
They both have their uses. Tangem is still more convenient and more durable.
But the Flex has more security features including the U2FA which is awesome for securing all my online accounts.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either.
Is ledger stax good or flex
Both are good. I like the Flex for the price
would you happen to know if the flex is Air Gaped like the Titian 2.0
No it’s not. But air gap doesn’t actually increase security
@@cyberscrilla ok thank you brother
@@cyberscrilla
Air gap does increase security, any security savvy person knows this
It increases security ultimately by reducing the time vector of an attack
In terms of protection during a transaction, then air gap doesn't enhance security but only if your hardware connection is secured and not joining an existing network with compromised devices in it
Sure, but i recommend you read this article:

just can’t trust closed sourced hardware wallet, and I saw many people’s ledger compromised these days, should stick to my keystone.
I have Tangem, best choice I ever made
My ledger died in less than 1 year, luckily I got everything off it. They are terrible!
Yes. Just ensure you have access to all your crypto via the seed phrase. Why are you smashing keystone?
@@cyberscrilla thanks for the support. Yeah, all the funds are on one key - but ultimately it’s all about the seed phrase. The keystone is useless. It won’t charge. I tried to do a firmware update but it says not enough battery, but it won’t charge beyond a certain point. The only way I can use it is if it’s plugged in - that has to be the worst wallet on the planet (for me). Smashing because I want to destroy the chip. I’ll keep the OneKey and Flex as my long term wallets.
There’s a way to fix that. I had the same issue and fixed with Keystone’s guidance. I can give you instructions to fix it if you want.

Is the firmware opensource?
As I explained in the video, 95% of Ledger’s code is open source.
The only part that’s closed source is the low-level code that talks to the hardware blocks of the Secure Element.
Ledger’s agreement with the chip maker, STMicroelectronics, legally prevents them from exposing this code, and for a good reason.
@@cyberscrilla Thanks for quick response.
Does it mean that the firmware for Nano X also 95% open source too?
No problem. And yes, that’s correct!
TL;DR: Source-code secured by closed-source is not secure by any means.
To be clear:
There is absolutely no reason not to open-source any software regarding security or cryptography.
It's safe to store millions dollars in this wallet
Yes. I’d feel safe storing billions if I had it. Why not?

"Ledger has implemented the first ever what they're calling secure touchscreen the screen on a flex is powered directly by an EAL6+ secure element chip which has never been done before in the hardware wallet industry (...)"
Never done before, uh? Trezor Safe 3 did it first.
You make some nice Ledger ads, it's a shame they are so inaccurate...
My guy. First off, the Safe 3 isn’t a touchscreen so you’re already wrong there 😂
And if you’re talking about the Safe 5 which is a touchscreen, it may use an EAL chip, but it’s not connected directly to the screen like it is on the Flex.

A USB key does not have these security features and doesn’t let you manage your crypto.
My brother lost 7 btc on a ledger nano x so don't think I can trust there wallets
The ideology of crypto and web3 is transparency and yet Ledgers whole deal is closed source.. "trust me bro" at the fullest.
That is completely inaccurate
Ledger is 95% open source.

They went with EAL6+
I guess i dont like that they sell it at this insane price point and that they like to "try out new things" in sector which should rely on proven security.
