Although I own two other hardware wallets that use 12 or 24 seed words, it's an added expense to buy a metal backup and they are in human readable form, which has always seemed like a risk to me. If you store a metal (or paper) backup of your seed words with a trusted friend or relative, there is always the chance that somebody might find them by accident, take a photo or write them down, and your crypto would be gone. If they find the backup Tangem card, even if they download the app it's protected by the access code. Just make sure to NEVER store two cards together. I totally agree and this is why even after years buying crypto on a centralized exchange I could not get myself to use a hardware wallet until Tangem came out. I think if you pick a passcode that you have 100% confidence you couldn't possibly forget, then I understand you can also remove the option to have it reset, in which case your only security vulnerability would be losing all three cards.

You’ll need to import old wallet to the new phone in the app, and then you can continue using your crypto. As long as you remember access code or have at least two card, that’s not a problem

Yes, you can reset you cards in the app settings. And then setup your wallet using Seed Phrase. WARNING ⚠️ You’ll need to transfer all your funds to some other wallet first. Otherwise you’ll lose all your funds.

So you just need to press add new wallet on your phone. You’ll find there option to import an existing wallet.
