When I got MPC in February of this year, I was glad that I had a standalone device, when I saw the update MPC 3 and also for free, I was shocked and my joy increased immeasurably, now it is everywhere with me, including in bed, my wife is on the right, MPC is on the left, I was a fan of maschine and waited a long time for the update, I hoped and now I can only say goodbye, you turned the wrong way and are doing something incomprehensible, all your sound libraries and play series are only needed by beginners, everything is outdated, it's a pity, you still manage to take money for it, have you even seen what Akai did with MPC 3 for free? amazing conceit I found out that MK 2 is not supported either, it's amazing how the company is burying itself and doesn't even realize it... it's especially funny that they are also for everything good, ecology, for a directive to encourage repair of electrical goods, requiring companies to ensure spare parts are available
I feel the same as you, this update is lame just some things added, this is not a 3 version, this more like a 2.9. I am thinking in buying a MPC. What MPC you own?
I have loved native instruments for a looong time. Not a fan of the direction they have been heading but love them none the less. However, I stopped buying any hardware from them a long time ago. They have a long history of making their hardware obsolete and I was burned twice. I feel bad for those that are learning this lesson with this latest batch of new keyboards and now the machine.

So wait, am I seeing this right - basically none of the ideas that the community selected as highest priority on the NI forum almost a year ago got implemented, instead we get stem separation? I guess the new MIDI editing tools could be seen as part of the "Sequencer & Pattern Editor" idea, which did get the highest vote, but these are all clunky mouse tools for the Maschine SW. Maybe I missed something but imho what people meant was better MIDI editing on the hardware, not in the software.
Welcome to NI. That's how they've done it since 09 with Maschine 1.0: They bait people in by promising features that they then - if ever - implement in a way absolutely no one asked for. OGs remember the time stretch debacle.
@@substance90 it's 3.0.....the zero being first....lay the ground work and uplift parts of the UI to make room for additions. Just because something gets the highest votes doesn't mean it's easy to do or implement within a release timeframe. Often with software and hardware integration you take a mix of quick wins and sprinkle in one or two risky features with releases.....no different here. The hardware after all hasn't changed.
@@getfmlrlaying the ground work would be starting off with some major rethink of how midi gets handled. These are all superficial, extraneous features.
Native instruments jumped in the money train and now every single aspect of their company is putting out sub standard products wrapped up in good branding. Hey at least you can spend money directly in kontakt now you can save time having to browse to the website 😂
God this is so bad. The worst thing is not that the update is hilarious and it's like Maschine is still in 2012 - the worst one is that all of these things ignore the Maschine hardware. 29$? I wouldn't be updating for free. Imagine the insanity - they added 'use your keyboard as midi keys' for people who purchased the Maschine hardware for 600-700$. Don't you think these people can afford a 20-30$ midi keys? No? You should fire your product manager, he's the second worst human being after putin
I think this should be free considering even Logic Pro for iPad has the stem separation feature. These features are expected with DAWs with todays technology .
We need the ability to lock sounds and patterns within a group then be able to change to another kit to replace all other unwanted sounds!!! Please enable this feature!!!
Jeff Gibbons has already shown you can keep patterns and change the sounds to a different kit. The art about locking individual sounds though...not exactly....you could select individual pads and replace sounds within that category using the browser.
@ yeah it’s about keeping the sounds and pattern. Then switch to another kit so it adds all new patterns for the other sounds to fill out a drum kit and so on and so on like all other samplers can do. The example you’re referring to will replace all the sounds which i definitely don’t want to do as I’m building a drum group of sounds I like. For example checkout Aglonauts Atlas.
Tempo change is cool. the ability to hear notes while adding in midi is an improvement. But ....Wow... Bounce? Something we could already do by recording a group to another Track is a feature? After all these years, there is STILL no support for Midi FX routing?? I can't believe We can't still even route MIDI from Reaktor (By Native Instruments themselves) to other VSTS within Maschine without a 3rd party vst. This is maschine 3? What a disappointment! so little things added, the new things are good but thats all?, That doesn't deserve to be a version 3, this could be just an update of the 2 version.
For $29 update, i disagree. You would spend that on a plugin that you would use once and never use again. At this point- if we keep getting free updates, without any comp to the developers, when they shut down cause of no pay from us needy demanding customers, we will still be complaining that they shut down. I think this is a reasonable upgrade price

Like asking what value a guitar or piano brings. Maschine is a performative powerhouse similar to an instrument with the added bonus of unlimited sounds and getting a track 85% completed.
Yes its a slow progression and they are playing catch up but appreciate any improvements and continued support. Its a lot of work to keep everything compatible across so many libraries, instruments. Im sure future updates in 3.0 will slowly start including more user needed improvements.
@scyhte82 not sure what you mean...they've already updated so much since I started using it. Maschine has always been a groove box and in that regard it does everything it needs to do. Great job to all the developers!! Not a bad price, I'm sure over time there will be updates! People will complain, NI could have just walked away with never doing updates! Give NI some credit!
@@keithwalter506 Ok with that being said, I also have an Akai MPC. 10+ yrs ago alot of people had, owned or knew someone that had an MPC. I have been loyal to Akai since MPC 60. NI offered new fresh drum kits that were already professionally eq'd with fx. Where Akai really didn't do that, you had to put effects on a lot of the kits. So NI was late to the game, but when they came they "showed up and showed out". However everyone is racing to get the best out of their hardware. Since Akai has come out with 3.0 they have had several updates. In time so will NI, give them a few weeks. Especially if you had to pay for the upgrade. NI could have just come out and charge $99 or more but they didn't. And who knows it may go up after the introductory offer. At one time Akai was known as the company that was going down until they were bought out....now look at them! Akai got the same backlash because of Roland back in the day. Before Roland we had Sequential, Alesis..etc.
Not sure if I’m happy or disappointed. I guess the updates are welcome, but I really wish they update the UI for EQ, Compressor, limiter etc.. when you can see waveform and better visuals of the effects and maybe add some new ones as well as performance fx.

NI fanboy here.. I’ve watched so many YT videos about this 3.0 update in the past 24hrs and let’s just say I won’t be running to purchase this update. I hesitantly bought the S61 MK3 hoping for basic Maschine integration but the fact that something as simple as browsing and loading presets not being available is seriously disappointing. Guess we’ll have to wait another decade for update 4.0 until then I guess I’ll keep using my Mikro MK3 to browse and load presets 🙄👎🏾👎🏾 GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!
All i wanted honestly ,, having the ability to see other midi notes while on another instrument ,, sort of like the FL piano roll ,, thats all i wanted ,, and in the official discussion forum ,, thats all everybody wanted 🥺😢
We've launched Maschine 3 with basic Kontrol S-Series integration, and will improve the experience over time. We're open to feedback on the features we should add next!
@@NativeInstruments you asked for feedback all year on your forums, and your users chimed in. Whatever happened to innovation and delivering a groundbreaking product at launch instead of releasing beta versions of products, then asking your customers to do your R&D for you?
I'm intrigued to find out whether this will bring me back into creating using the desktop version or whether they'll bring an update to Maschine+ or even update the hardware. Also wondering whether my Maschine 2 files will be compatible or whether I'd go through the headache of needing to convert them further down the line as I did with my old Maschine 1.5 files after a certain point. Great features but still contemplating because some of the features found elsewhere in AKAI and Ableton are now in the ecosystem I'm most comfortable
NI is such a fraud. This update is smaller than some updates that were 2.X updates (like the intro of clips). Just because they needed to get more money from their loyal users.
No randomisation features yet like in Elektron products? Such as LFO > sample change, probability, per step FX & modulations? Can Events lock / Snapshots be exported as individual sounds yet or per group? Are they even up on the timeline yet like Scenes are ?
Nice!! liking the new arranger features and no hardware needed, I love it! can't wait to try the computer keyboard as midi keyboard and new mouse features shortcuts!
I would have liked to have seen stem separation inside the sampler, like Serato. This would not only work with chops/slices but also not force us to make 4 stems when we might just need to turn off drums for example... With always 4 I am forced to slice things 3 times, or resample 3 stems into another Pad, ya-da-ya-da.... The Sampler should really be #1 prio imo. 😅
What a disappointment. After all these years, yall should have just made this a Maschine 2 update, like five years ago (without ai stuff of course). We are all watching Big Daddy Akai take care it’s kids. NI went to get milk, this is that I know “I’ve been gone but here’s a $20…” yall don’t care about us
For the love of God, please do release a new keyboard controller with Pads, I/O and couple of faders to have an all-in-one experience from the keyboard and no additional controller.
I'm glad NI finally came out with an update after 10 years but man they are behind. Stem separation is cool and all but we really needed a good piano roll (like FL Studio) and better automation control.
and no demo? Can't even try it to find out? That said 'basic mk3 integration' does not sound promising. MPE hosting is really the only new thing I would want from a maschine update. I mean, bounce in place nice, but really not essential given the everything samples everything workflow.
So can you install 3.0 and still keep 2.0 also... don't wanna replace as of yet and is it true that the Mk2 keyboards will not work with Maschine 3.0...!?
Yes, you can keep 2.0. and still works fine. After a test run, i can cofirm, the mk2 Keyboard is also still integrated in 3.0, but you have to check the midi in box in the preferences. Otherwise you dont get note signals from the s49 Keyboard.
Performance FX on master bus. Linear vocal recording make it easier not so tedious. being able to save vocal chain in group section make that happen also.
I love the new visual look🎉 My Roland Cloud VSTs look really soft though and the quick preser browser fuction where i hover over presets doesn’t show the presets within the banks at all. And my Korg Opsix Native VST only shows 1/4 of the top left of the instrument. I’ll have to use MA2 till those are fixed. The Maschine 3 window is soft looking too unless it’s on full screen.
Updated to 3.0 yesterday and my maschine is still scanning plugins. Plenty of space on my Mac, fully updated iOS (15), have given all permissions to native instruments in privacy and security, checked all paths from native access to my harddrive, nothing corrupt or broken. Purchased the update + new instruments for nothing. With that being said, if there are any MPC users reading this comment and you swam away from the native instruments ecosystem, can you please direct me to a beginners video on MPC software. Thanks
I know this might sound like I'm being a bit entitled here, but I really don't feel this being a paid update. Could've easily be a free 2.19 update to be honest, as the Stem Separation is "just" a the same RX application they already added into Traktor as well, so not like it's a tailormade thing for Maschine. Kinda expected 3.0 being somewhat "more", like what 2.0 was to 1.x. Sure these features are kinda nice additions and I bet for some they're totally worth the 29e/$ update price. But for me, as I'm not a "sampling beatmaker", this just isn't worth it, not even with the low price of 29e/$. The "tempo per scene" is the only feature that I might use in some projects, all the other are just something I honestly don't need. 2.x works perfectly in my setup and for my use case and thus I prolly will just stick with it until something gets added what I REALLY need. What really disappoints me is that there is absolutely nothing added to make Maschine a better live performance tool. It is already awesome in that and the reason I love it, but there are so many things that could be improved on that area... and it's not the only area where NI could improve Maschine a LOT, but haven't done so. This all said, I'm not totally lost my hope as this is at least an opener and hopefully an indication that they are still working on Maschine. So, let's see what they will add into 3.x after a while. But for now, I think this is a pass for me.
When you consider the difference between logic 10.0 to where it is now with 11.1, it makes native instruments seem like an archaic out of touch company. People complain about apple too but all the logic updates have been free and the daw has been completely reinvented. It's really disappointing to see this from a company that was once one of the best.
Well.... Here's the thing. Let's hope they do quicker updates from here on out. Hopefully by doing that they can catch up. When you don't do updates for so long it can come expensive for the company and overwhelming for the developers.
Meanwhile Cubase has just released its first iteration of a drum machine in version 14 and already looks to work better than maschine software. Can we just let Daws take control of our machines from now on? 😂
I just bought and installed Maschine 3 - I've two monitors with high resolution (3840x2160). Once I open the software, it almost completely fills both screens/ if I try to shrink it, Maschine has a hard time and hides parts of some of its windows and flickers around ... - so I suppose, the integration on Win 11 PCs is not too advanced... In addition, looking to your video and trying to follow your example: I dragged and dropped a flac-file, which worked fine- in the video you mentioned just click on "Edit" somewhere on 2:46 - but where is the Edit button? In the menu on top, there is a Edit entry, but this one just shows me the "undo load fsound(s)"... As a recommendation: there is recording software available, such as Camtasia, which also highlights a cursor movement and even marks the place where you hit a mouse-key, which would be helpful...
The worst update ever! What's wrong with native instruments? Still in 2014. Can you check the market, for example standalone elektron boxes give you more possibilities to work with samples. You can update software easily, because there is no limit with modern CPU! I was waiting for this update a long time, but this stump of stems from traktor is very disappointing(
Y'all seem to be having trouble with Maschine development. Have y'all considered making Maschine open source and asking for help? It would speed things up a bit and attract more people. 😉
Goes to show that you guys have truly lost it, putting this out as a major update. These features (and many more) should have been in Maschine 2.0 at the very least, maybe minus the stem stuff. At least open up the device to developers so capable people can create a software that does the hardware justice, because you are clearly not up to the task.
Nice job presenting! OK update, but too little too late. Catch up with AKAI! I would love to use Maschine + for live looping, so I was hoping for integration of "Warping", Audio Quantizing, a Tuner, more Guitar Rig effects like Raum to use it as a guitar rig (and for vocals), Autotune....just catch up with Akai's features as soon as you can, they are pretty much perfect... Sadly I would go for an Akai nowadays...they left Maschine in the dust....

Native Instruments doesn't have something that surprises me every time they release a new product like Apple. This is like watching a video of a minor update from 10 years ago. There's no freshness or surprise, just despair.
Is there any change to automations?, it was the biggest feature i was hoping for to be updated
@@milocero It looks like the biggest feature was new look and they have to chase the competition with stem separation :) there is not much new stuff that's the reason this update cost only 29...

Quote from the community manager on the forum..
“I wanted to follow up with the next part of the feature ideas breakdown and we are continuing with the topic of “Automation / Modulation Improvements”, which was the second highest voted feature area overall.”
So what happened? 😛
Even a straight line tool would’ve been something
@@jmp909 I agree! That's all I need in Maschine
Loved maschine, waiting for so long now.
I am at the point where I wanna switch to a competitor out of sheer spite
Bruh! Why?? Is NI even listening to us? Stop playing catch up! Maschine Plus was underwhelming, now Maschine 3.0 too? 29$ for stem separation? I could just separate it in a DAW and import. Editing tools should've existed at least since Maschine Mk3! Bounce in Place is the only one i wanted! And most power users are disappointed!!
Give us more!
Everything you're providing us is available in a DAW!
Maschine has the potential to be incredible! Every maschine forum has a million suggestions! Atleast allow the users to come up with our own plugins like Ableton Max for live!
Not only do they not listen but they also don’t interact with their community….
This is an insult to all M users ..........
I've not seen anything this lazy in 20 years
Give me a break
For those old enough to remember, I thought this was Maschine v1 when i first saw the preview 😅 feels like they moving backwards
NOW SUPPORTS MP3
ONLY TOOK 15 YEARS.
thanks?
When I got MPC in February of this year, I was glad that I had a standalone device, when I saw the update MPC 3 and also for free, I was shocked and my joy increased immeasurably, now it is everywhere with me, including in bed, my wife is on the right, MPC is on the left, I was a fan of maschine and waited a long time for the update, I hoped and now I can only say goodbye, you turned the wrong way and are doing something incomprehensible, all your sound libraries and play series are only needed by beginners, everything is outdated, it's a pity, you still manage to take money for it, have you even seen what Akai did with MPC 3 for free? amazing conceit
I found out that MK 2 is not supported either, it's amazing how the company is burying itself and doesn't even realize it... it's especially funny that they are also for everything good, ecology, for a directive to encourage repair of electrical goods, requiring companies to ensure spare parts are available
I feel the same as you, this update is lame just some things added, this is not a 3 version, this more like a 2.9. I am thinking in buying a MPC. What MPC you own?
@@paulopalacin3337 I have MPC One plus, for the money it is just incredible
I have loved native instruments for a looong time. Not a fan of the direction they have been heading but love them none the less. However, I stopped buying any hardware from them a long time ago. They have a long history of making their hardware obsolete and I was burned twice. I feel bad for those that are learning this lesson with this latest batch of new keyboards and now the machine.
@@paulopalacin3337 I am sending it for the second time because the comments are deleted for some reason, I have MPC one plus, the only thing I am waiting for now is an update to version 3 of their desktop version for computers, all in one device

Well, I'm gonna invest my $29 in the Serato Sample plugin instead
Agree, NI could include Traktor features and effects into Maschine (+), that would be Killer!!!
Man having a Maschine Plus really be hurting souls the past few years😅
So wait, am I seeing this right - basically none of the ideas that the community selected as highest priority on the NI forum almost a year ago got implemented, instead we get stem separation? I guess the new MIDI editing tools could be seen as part of the "Sequencer & Pattern Editor" idea, which did get the highest vote, but these are all clunky mouse tools for the Maschine SW. Maybe I missed something but imho what people meant was better MIDI editing on the hardware, not in the software.
same
@@skagboyyes I was thinking this limited midi editing is way too time consuming
I like Maschine. Is just the arrangement part that I don’t love. I wish it was more like a Daw.
i love my maschine and i'm glad that they are updating it. new features are welcomed and hopefully no bugs are introduced.

Makes sense to add stem separation considering it’s already included with traktor 4
There would have been tons of features to add that would have made a whole lot more sense for a groovebox kinda thing like Maschine than stems.
More Traktor features and effects please!
Hybrid DJ/performance sets are everywhere, Native has all the tools
We need the ability to lock sounds and patterns within a group then be able to change to another kit to replace all other unwanted sounds!!! Please enable this feature!!!
Such a cool feature it would be if it was possible
@ yeah the work around is just by creating other groups with kits and copy and pasting across until i have drum group I’m happy with.
Definitely a dope idea
Jeff Gibbons has already shown you can keep patterns and change the sounds to a different kit.
The art about locking individual sounds though...not exactly....you could select individual pads and replace sounds within that category using the browser.
@ yeah it’s about keeping the sounds and pattern. Then switch to another kit so it adds all new patterns for the other sounds to fill out a drum kit and so on and so on like all other samplers can do. The example you’re referring to will replace all the sounds which i definitely don’t want to do as I’m building a drum group of sounds I like. For example checkout Aglonauts Atlas.
Still no export out to mp3 😭 too many miss features!!
I thought they DID add Mp3 export?
Tempo change is cool. the ability to hear notes while adding in midi is an improvement. But ....Wow... Bounce? Something we could already do by recording a group to another Track is a feature? After all these years, there is STILL no support for Midi FX routing?? I can't believe We can't still even route MIDI from Reaktor (By Native Instruments themselves) to other VSTS within Maschine without a 3rd party vst. I was really looking forward to an update but this is a bit disappointing.
@@preppybeats update or upgrade? , because this looks like a really good update and 29 is ok, but definitely this does not deserve to be called an upgrade to version 3 after 10 years.
@@paulopalacin3337 so stems and many other features are not major updates? Its almost like saying android had these features first and apple came late. I feel like apple usually waits to roll out major things to avoid bugs, and make sure the implementation is rock solid. No one likes a bunch of force close messages (no shade to
Android users) i think that in the same way, ni took their time adding these things. Plus in any software, with any updates and additions they are gradual before the big one. I think i would be upset if it was a $99 update. But i saw the price and instant purchase. The fact we can just drag in mp3s is a huge thing, and i dont think yall realize how close NI seems to be to having a standalone fully featured daw. This is exciting.
🤔 hmm interesting!
@preppybeats it's not $29 tho... that doesn't come with nothing just checked.. you need the $99 for the new stuff 😢
I already have a DAW that does most of this. Someone help me understand what value this software brings to the table.
Like asking what value a guitar or piano brings.
Maschine is a performative powerhouse similar to an instrument with the added bonus of unlimited sounds and getting a track 85% completed.

The more I look into the NI product line, the more confused I get. All I saw was a DAW.
The only thing Maschine software brings is integration with the Maschine hardware controller, which eventually will be end-of-lifed.

Thank you for the succinct and informative reply.
Maschine brings ZERO to the table what ableton live cant do and live does it better.
NI, LISTEN TO YOUR CONSUMERS!!!!
Still, no snap-to-scale feature. Whats the deal with that?
NO ONE SHOULD BUY THIS UPDATE UNTIL THEY GET IT RIGHT

Yes its a slow progression and they are playing catch up but appreciate any improvements and continued support. Its a lot of work to keep everything compatible across so many libraries, instruments.
Im sure future updates in 3.0 will slowly start including more user needed improvements.
Spoiler: They wont.
It's always been like that with Maschine since 1.0. Just one big disappointment after the other.
@scyhte82 not sure what you mean...they've already updated so much since I started using it. Maschine has always been a groove box and in that regard it does everything it needs to do. It's pretty easy to put together a quick idea and jam out.
I don't think anyone is using Maschine to replace a full DAW and that's just fine for me as well.
Either way please type of options out there for those that want to get an all in one.
The features included in Maschine 3.0 are based on a mix of improvements requested by our community and our vision for the Maschine experience. Let us know what you're missing!
Better automation options was the only thing I really needed, and felt was missing... Disappointed.
Great job to all the developers!! Not a bad price, I'm sure over time there will be updates! People will complain, NI could have just walked away with never doing updates! Give NI some credit!
Well, now that they see it works, they'll charge for the next updates... Look at it and tell us that's not just another 2.X
Yes, great job, just 5 years too late
They had a decade… MPC 3.0 is a free update that has most of the things that people wanted from Maschine. I see a lot of people jumping ship
11 years too Late. Got my MPC One in March. Mpc 3 beta is free and its killer. This update proves why Maschine is done.
Not sure if I’m happy or disappointed. I guess the updates are welcome, but I really wish they update the UI for EQ, Compressor, limiter etc.. when you can see waveform and better visuals of the effects and maybe add some new ones as well as performance fx.
So i got back into music production at the beginning of covid, previously i used fruity loops so going with the maschine hardware and software was in my opinion and upgrade and i have loved it. To make a long story short speaking for us that don't know any better I think the upgrade is great, but like i said im not a Native lifer, only known about this software since covid. I am sure these guys and ladies are taking in what we are all saying and will make it better. I do not have the new board yet was waiting for this. I like my split screen on the MK2 board. I may upgrade now though. LETS KEEP MAKING MUSIC at the end of the day native lets me do that in a unique way. Peace
The Kontrol S MK3 is a joy to use and the new 'basic' Maschine integration is beautifully done, works well together with the Maschine hardware. Don't listen to these negative comments and enjoy Maschine and NI hardware! Cheers!
Even if I already have iZotope RX, Ozone 11, and so on, I love the Maschine 3 update and I’m okay with paying 30 USD for the upgrade. However, I don’t understand why you still haven’t added the audio quantize feature for recorded audio. This is something we really want! Cheers.
Ok this Update is showing where NI stands right now. You just have to read online how the employees are treated and you understand this joke of a update!
No timestretching, barely any compatibility with Kontrol mk3, no automation updates. Hard pass.
Yes, that were the most sorely missing parts
We've launched Maschine 3 with basic Kontrol S-Series integration, and will improve the experience over time. We're open to feedback on the features we should add next!
@@NativeInstruments you asked for feedback all year on your forums, and your users chimed in. Whatever happened to innovation and delivering a groundbreaking product at launch instead of releasing beta versions of products, then asking your customers to do your R&D for you?
im half happy. the note preview and midi upgrades are nice.
So true
No randomisation features yet like in Elektron products? Such as LFO > sample change, probability, per step FX & modulations? Can Events lock / Snapshots be exported as individual sounds yet or per group? Are they even up on the timeline yet like Scenes are ?

I would have liked to have seen stem separation inside the sampler, like Serato. This would not only work with chops/slices but also not force us to make 4 stems when we might just need to turn off drums for example... With always 4 I am forced to slice things 3 times, or resample 3 stems into another Pad, ya-da-ya-da.... The Sampler should really be #1 prio imo. 😅
What a disappointment. After all these years, yall should have just made this a Maschine 2 update, like five years ago (without ai stuff of course).
We are all watching Big Daddy Akai take care it’s kids. NI went to get milk, this is that I know “I’ve been gone but here’s a $20…” yall don’t care about us
I've been waiting for this update since Maschine one 😂🎉
For the love of God, please do release a new keyboard controller with Pads, I/O and couple of faders to have an all-in-one experience from the keyboard and no additional controller.
AUTOMATIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN😢
Oh i love it. thank you!
I'm glad NI finally came out with an update after 10 years but man they are behind. Stem separation is cool and all but we really needed a good piano roll (like FL Studio) and better automation control.
Well, I'm grateful for what is here.
So, it does mpe right? Like, the big new feature on the mk3 keyboards, that can be used now in maschine? Surely?
and no demo? Can't even try it to find out? That said 'basic mk3 integration' does not sound promising. MPE hosting is really the only new thing I would want from a maschine update. I mean, bounce in place nice, but really not essential given the everything samples everything workflow.
Also multithreading, right? It can now use more than one core on your CPU? Surely. No?
Love it.❤️🔥 Keep it going, especially with a Maschine 4 hardware.🔋
Unfortunate to see such a little update. Still love native instruments other products though
Were creating and editi g automations improved?

for us? no
Please make some integration of Komplete mk2 with Maschine Mk3. We are musician its hard to buy everything new my friend.
Kontrol mk2 already has full integration, same as it did in Maschine 2.
I'm going to switch to Akai; at least they respect us.
Akai went bankrupt long time ago. 😅
I love the new visual look🎉
My Roland Cloud VSTs look really soft though and the quick preser browser fuction where i hover over presets doesn’t show the presets within the banks at all. And my Korg Opsix Native VST only shows 1/4 of the top left of the instrument. I’ll have to use MA2 till those are fixed.
The Maschine 3 window is soft looking too unless it’s on full screen.
What about after touch, is it still unsupported?
Updated to 3.0 yesterday and my maschine is still scanning plugins. Plenty of space on my Mac, fully updated iOS (15), have given all permissions to native instruments in privacy and security, checked all paths from native access to my harddrive, nothing corrupt or broken. Purchased the update + new instruments for nothing. With that being said, if there are any MPC users reading this comment and you swam away from the native instruments ecosystem, can you please direct me to a beginners video on MPC software. Thanks
I’ve learned my lessons with Ni
Yeah, but why the price tag on previous owners.?
Money
Hope they implemented time correction variable. Also ability to change time signature in each pattern.
When you consider the difference between logic 10.0 to where it is now with 11.1, it makes native instruments seem like an archaic out of touch company. People complain about apple too but all the logic updates have been free and the daw has been completely reinvented. It's really disappointing to see this from a company that was once one of the best.
No automations for levels and mixing, no track freeze / unfreeze, user interface ofc won't scale...
honestly, could be Maschine 2.X but I hoped for a bigger change for Maschine 3 :/ more „true DAW“ Features
That sounds very clean 😮
I just bought and installed Maschine 3 - I've two monitors with high resolution (3840x2160). Once I open the software, it almost completely fills both screens/ if I try to shrink it, Maschine has a hard time and hides parts of some of its windows and flickers around ... - so I suppose, the integration on Win 11 PCs is not too advanced...
In addition, looking to your video and trying to follow your example:
I dragged and dropped a flac-file, which worked fine- in the video you mentioned just click on "Edit" somewhere on 2:46 - but where is the Edit button?
In the menu on top, there is a Edit entry, but this one just shows me the "undo load fsound(s)"...
As a recommendation: there is recording software available, such as Camtasia, which also highlights a cursor movement and even marks the place where you hit a mouse-key, which would be helpful...
lets go!!!! looking pretty good
will any of theses updates make it to the Maschine plus standalone?
Maschine + Standalone update soon?
No

very funny
Very happy with the update and the pricing. And great to see NI is continuing to support Maschine.
Yes it’s worth exactly $29
The worst update ever! What's wrong with native instruments? Still in 2014. Can you check the market, for example standalone elektron boxes give you more possibilities to work with samples. You can update software easily, because there is no limit with modern CPU! I was waiting for this update a long time, but this stump of stems from traktor is very disappointing(
Love it 👍👍looking forward to dig in
Y'all seem to be having trouble with Maschine development.
Great. Now please update Massive and Battery GUI, make it re-sizable.
Appreciate you! Love these ideas
