Exactly. I was imagining the events of The Amazing Spider-Man Issue 121, but in the style of the Spectacular Spider-Man series, with my eyes closed, listening to Josh deliver the lines, and it was quite a feeling. It was amazing. Even that is enough to be an experience.
It's what we would've gotten in Season 4 or 5 or even in the exclusive to DVD movies If the show wasn't cancelled!

I’m loving these emotional moments you’re voicing as Spider-Man. Is there any chance you could voiceover Ultimate Peter Parker’s sacrifice/death one day? It’s my favorite death scene in all of comics. Really emotional, and a great last send off to that version of Spider-Man in the comics 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I have always figured that if The Spectacular Spider-Man didn't get cancelled, the Green Goblin would've returned, discovered that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and cause the death of Gwen. Thus resulting Peter to isolate himself from the people he loves and not wanting to pursue a relationship with Mary Jane. Not just to protect her, but mainly he would feel like he'd be betraying Gwen if he did.
You can’t save everyone Spidy 😢😢. As much as it hurts you can’t. Theirs just some things in this world you just can’t control or change. Don’t become a monster like Goblin. Gwen will always be with you. Even when you can’t see her ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Excellent performance Josh. Really brought a tear to my eye.
I'd love to see Josh read from 'The Death of Jean DeWolf' or 'The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man'.

Yuri Lowenthal is good as Spidey and all, but Josh is not only my favorite VA for both Peter and Spider-Man but I LOVE his take on it, not only because it actually has a Peter Parker feel to it in my opinion, but Josh is also the first Spider-Man VA I heard when I played Edge of Time and watched Spectacular Spider-Man. But Dang it man! Not only did you appear in Across the Spider-Verse as a cameo again, but you got me choked up over this one comic scene again!

All I want to say Josh Keaton you did Spectacular voice Spider-Man in TASM No. 121. I have a feeling this could be in Season 3 but it really sucks that it got cancelled. If The Spectacular Spider-Man Season 3 happens I will definitely watch it. I remember watching two seasons when I was a kid and I love it. This was my childhood always have and always will. You definitely deserved season 3, Josh.

Damn. Even I felt the emotions from this. Gwen's death is always heart wrenching. As a fan of Spectacular Spiderman, I just hope Gwen doesn't die because Peter went through a lot in his life especially in his love life. I just can't think of what would happen when this part of the comic happens.

I wonder if Miguel told him that Gwen was going to die in college. I mean he's still the high school age Spider-Man considering he still has the same design in the movie and it's implied that Captain Stacy has already died. So... I just wonder how that conversation went if it happened. I just assume he gives the same speech from Spider-Man: Edge of Time when he finds out that MJ was gonna die that night.
You returning as spectacular Spider-Man in the Across the Spiderverse movie was great.

While there's no way they could've ever been able to put this in an actual episode of Spectacular, the fact that this is out there is a kind of incredible thing. 10 years ago, I started reading every issue of Amazing Spider-Man, and from day 1, it was your voice in my head when I read for Peter.
Disney. Bring. This. Man. Back! If Tom isn't gonna play Spider-Man in Freshman Year, then the least you can do it let Josh Keaton voice him.
I remember watching Spectacular Spider-Man when I was younger and thought it was a nice cartoon and didn't really see all the hype but many years later, I finally get it now. The emotion you've shown from your performances made it feel like you were actually experiencing what Peter Parker and Spider-Man was going through, or that you were them. From the cockiness Peter would have when fighting criminals, to the rage and sadness he would experience in other moments, along with the darkness Peter had when he was about to get consumed by the symbiote. The emotion was all there, you put all your heart and soul into the character and put yourself in his shoes to put in the proper acting. This probably isn't the first time someone has said it, and it probably won't be the last, but you truly are The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Josh Keaton and Chris Pine are both the greatest Spiderman voices, but think Josh Keaton's versatility when comes to Spiderman is insane. He can be charming, mature, and sad more then I've seen Chris Pine. The cartoon just had perfect voice casting, and thanks to that show we got the single greatest voices for the characters. Especially with the Green Goblin and Norman Osborn (and Spiderman)
