The part where Peter tells Billy that his dad will always care for him and Billy asks "Even if he turns into a monster?" hits hard after in the comics Billy tries to get his dad to fight The Lizard persona, for the latter to dominate Dr. Connors and then he proceeds to eat Billy alive. That was horrendous in so many levels and it was a gut punch.
