      @@phantomwalker8251 And what is a 302C head?
Are you confusing the 351 cleveland heads with 302 boss heads?...
Remember that the lingo often gets twisted around b4 being passed down.
      Just for the record.....
The 221 thru the 302 were from the 'fairlane' engine family .oft times these small blocks were termed Windsors because, as was the the place of manufacture, they were made in Windsor, ont , canada.
Where there needs to be any difference in terminology it's the 3 351 cubers.
There were the Windsor ( the BIGGEST Windsor built Wedge ), The famous Clevelands..
      ( 351 C 2 & 4 venturi- or barrel- and then there was the Boss 351.
The LT1 killer. You could also bury mopar 340s as well ).
The 'Last' C motor is, as Rich from Westech said, a 400 cid Cleveland 'Tall deck stroker'.
Though it is termined M ( for Modified- meaning it uses a 351 W crank in the 400 C block
Where you need to be specific, actually, is to forget calling the 400 an
      'M'.
That distinction actually denotes a recast 351C for the 351W crank )
And to add further confusion, the 351C uses either the C4 or FMX auto trans or the small block top loader 4 gear.
The M family uses a 429/460 C6- or big block auto trans and the corresponding big block
      Top loader .
Unlike many OTHER mice and rats, there are some cases where 335 (cleveland) 385 series big blocks ( ALL 429's AND the boss 9 & the 460's) had interchangable parts.
So, B4 you knock 'em KNOW 'em....

One of the most innovative old hot rodders is Kaase. He's probably forgotten more than most Ford guys know. Having built several 460's in the day, I was waiting for this video! Those heads look awesome with the very generous ports, careful radius in the bowl area, and fast-burn combustion chambers. I didn't have anything like that to work with....DOVE-C CJ heads. I Devcon-F filled the dead area in the exhausts and ported the exhausts to lead the flow upward.....by the time I was done I was standing in a pile of shavings "knee-deep"....cleaning the bowl area and 3-angling the valves really helped bottom end. My engines were either towing or street and didn't have to turn the rpms that these are capable of with all the trick components. Good video....Horsepower doesn't know the name of the engine....just the ability to flow. Those cam lobes in this engine looked like Mt. Everest.

I was lucky enough to meet Jon when he was working for Dyno Don the year he won the Pro-Stock Championship. a mutual friend of Dyno and my Dad had brought Dyno to my dad's shop in the home garage. He was looking for someone who could make a stud girdle for one of his 500 CI Can-Am match race motors. So as 14 YO kid I was crossing the driveway and my Dad called out to me to come in, My dad was there talking to his friend Dink and another gentleman . My Dad asked if I knew who he was I said no and said this is Dyno Don Nicholson. Now I knew the name as I read Hot Rod faithfully every month . The problem was you almost b=never saw his face as he was always leaning over a engine. My dad wound up machining the girdle from a billet of Aluminum that Dyno shipped up. When it was done he asked my dad how much , my Dad said he just wanted the challenge of seeing if he could do it. Mind you this was 1976 or 77 and he was using all manual machines just a bridegport and lathe. So Dyno asked us to be his guests at the Summer nationals in Englishtown NJ . That is where I met Jon who , it was just He and Don with some help from Dink that did all the work on the car between rounds . There were no big crews back then , No huge haulers just a truck and trailer .
