GRUBWITMIKE’S BURGER HUNT ( SAN FRANCISCO PT.1 )
In this series you will see me hunt for the best burgers in San Francisco. I decided to try 4 spots, 1 of them being my go-to burger joint, and 3 being new spots I’ve never tried.

I use to love the burgers at Clown Alley on Columbus & Jackson street. Use to be one on Lombard street in the Marina too
Loved this 'episode'; guess it's because I love burgers. Very descriptive commentaries which makes me want to run out and get the meals where you want to eat it all, even though you have the next place to go to. One thing for sure, going to The Butcher Shop as soon as I can, to not only try the burger, but definitely to get those fries. Oh yeah, love the napkin in the pocket at one of the early visits as well as the missing napkin in the pocket at the Butcher Shop. Keep at the You Tube; you are doing great!

Try the fish burger at Beeps!
Yup, I use to eat those fish sandwiches at Beeps when I attended City college back in the day in the early 70's. 👍

cross the bridge and come to Marin for the best bacon cheese burger in the bay area at Marin Joe's in Corte Madera. It's a huge patty (I like mine medium rare) cooked over wood fire with a thick cut of swiss on sourdough bread. No vegetables. The way it should be. Simple but the best.
Yup, all the Bay Area Joe's make their burgers like that. Been to that Corte Madera spot a few times, but I usually eat at Joe's of Westlake or San Jose Joe's. They been making those burgers since 1956!!!!! 👍
Oh and all those Joe's had the very best big cut thick fries too!!!!!! 👍
Yes go to Marin we’re the burgers cost 25 $ everything in Marin is expensive don’t even stop and eat in Marin not worth it imp
@Pantheroso their hamburger costs $18.25 and comes with a side of fries. The meat is twice the size of a regular burger and it's cooked over a real wood fire. You won't find a cheaper and better tasting burger anywhere in the bay area. If you think $18.25 is too much for a restaurant in the bay area maybe you should move to Bakersfield where things are more affordable.

It’s been a while since I had good burger in The City. Mission Bowling had the best juiciest burgers I’ve ever had might go back.
My favorite used to be bulls head at west portal but they lost their way. Last time I had a burger there it tasted burnt and rotten.
Way back in the Day we had Tic Tocs.On Columbus,on Third at China Basin and the Beeps on 18th was a Tic Toc spot b4 it became Beeps! 10 cent burgers in a orange wrapper my Boy! Carlos Santana worked at the 18th street spot! I still fuks with Beeps whenever I'm in The 415 Though! Keep Rockin' The BAY MIKE ! 💪🏽 👊🏽 ✌🏽
Yup I remember those burgers at Tic Toc's at China basin, use to be one way out on third street in Hunters point too.

Don't know if you remember this place, but I use to love to go out to ocean beach to get enchiladas and tamales at a place called The Hot House on Great Highway at Playland at the beach. I never forgot that thick Mexican sauce they put on their enchiladas and tamales!!!! 👍🫔🍺
You forgot to load that sucker up. My burgers when I go their rack up to almost 20 bucks. Worth the price. Delicious.
