Gar would be proud. I like how you hold the sticks loosely in your hands. I think it lends for a jazzier playing technique. I think you do Gar more justice than any of the other drummers Dave has had since Peace Sells. Although Shawn Drover is a good drummer, I wish Mustaine would steal someone from the jazz world, and make the band more interesting again. Anyway, awesome job!!
Thanks a lot! I may have played this particular song a bit more loosely than I usually do, because of the jazzy style of it. I'm not a good jazz drummer at all, to be honest, haha! Gar definitely brought a very interesting edge to a lot of the songs from KIMB and PS. Since he was kicked out, the band has had a bunch of great drummers, but none of them play like Gar. Shawn should definitely try laying a more technical drum track on some of the newer songs. Fingers crossed with Super Collider...

I don't really know, I think both of them are great. Gar's playing was jazzier and more technical, but Nick was awesome too. Nick's playing was powerful and energetic. So, I'd probably say I like them equally as much.
Luca Morpurgo For rare occasions. It's tuned very low, so for example if I'm doing a heavy tom beat, that's when it comes handy. It's a cheap Millenium tom too, so it's there just for the hell of it, really.
I think this guy hides his face because he's really Gar Samuelson... (And I just looked down and noticed I left a comment on this video 5 years ago, smh)
