for question 9 without a calculator, work out what it takes to change 150 into 100 e.g divide by 3 then times by 2 (150/3 = 50, 50 * 2 = 100) then do the same to the number (24/3 = 8, 8 * 2 = 16) this is a much simpler calculation and can quickly be done in your head.

For anyone who who mixes up median and range remember the phrase:
"Hey diddle diddle,
The median is the middle,
You add and divide for the mean,
The mode is the one that you see the most,
And the range is the difference in between"
For Q8. The way I worked out the answer is by multiplying (20kg x 2m = 40). Accordingly, in order to balance the beam, I assumed that the opposite side must also amount to 40. Therefore, I have to choose a number that when multiplied by 4m (number given in the question) will give me 40. Hence, I chose A, since 10kg x 4m = 40.

Shortest imports are of spain i.e. 141 and uk i.e. 150 so
141+150 = 291
Divided by total imports i.e. 1149
So 291/1149 × 100
= 25.32%

Are these test samples for USA or UK? Is it updated for 2022??
No criticism of the video, but the text of Q4 should probably state explicitly that we are filling in the missing letters. There is a clue, because the centre square we end on does not have a letter, but that biases the question towards anyone dumb that just assumes they have to fill the letters in, meaning that we are testing for a favourable predisposition rather than reasoning. Very helpful resource. Thanks.
Question 8, the first couple times I just coudn't understand why the weight was halved until I realized the meaning of LEVERAGE.

Q21. A, you need to look at inside shapes which are all dark and identical to the outer shape which is lighter in colour. The options B,C,D,E are not correct as per the above explanation.

For questions 17 and 18 you must connect the shapes using the corresponding letters so only one option will be possible.

for this question, is it because C is the nearest shape of all the other choices? I actually draw it and the object B if you combined it to the 2 images it is reversed compared to the answer in C. But still it is most nearest shape of all
I understand almost bytesting my answers with others in the comments. I learn that I am a big slow with the 9 letter words, and the last one, question 21 i dont understand the pattern. I see most people in the comments says its A, which if I had to make that wild guess, it would be A due to it following the same patter of a big white shape followed by an inner black shape of itself. So for me I think the pattern is the both shapes need to be the same color and shape.

I took management when I left school. My side of it was business and law. My friend did personnel managemt and he went through the assesment procedures for selection so I read a book about it. Years later I took social sciences for an honours degree. On mt first day at university I was given a psychometric test to complete. It was to asses whether, or not I was a 'neurorotic, or a psychychotic 'personality. It consisted of a set of questions as to how I would feel about this, or that.I was given a box to tick as to how that was one of three answers. I just ticked every box regardless of the of the question. I was assesed as "the most well rounded student in the room. They are a joke. I knew how I was going to be assesed before they gave it to me. Don't fall for it.

i struggle with working out the percentages in my head, would i be given a calculator for such calculations?
I used to but what I do is work them in reverse and I use money. For example if something is 40% off I know I must pay 60% or 60 cents for each dollar so for every 10 dollars I must come up with $6.00 so if it's $20.00 i double the 6 and so forth. If it's 25.00 i know it's 12 plus half of 6 or 3 so i must come up with $15.00. It takes practice but makes it easier to keep it straight in my head. Hope it helps.
I know the questions will not be that simple but for me it takes the fear of % and prevents panic as I know I can work through them..

Hi, That's not a problem. starting in the bottom left corner, and moving clockwise around the edge and ending up in the middle, you can make the word bluebells. Take the word bluebells and see if you can fill in the blanks.

The beam questions are largely based on a concept of physics called principle of moments, it says that in equilibrium the sum of clockwise moments is equal to the sum of anticlockwise moments, hence, m1*d1=m2*d2.
