I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was so easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mr James am really grateful
At 16:22 we can observe that the figures are actually revolving in clockwise direction, which means that the circle's line would actually come to the right, rather than it being the same as the one in first row Edit: Also in the last question a simpler method is to count the number or days, which adds up to 7 (3+4) and since a week has 7 days, we can conclude that it is the same week day as Monday

Thank you so much for doing these. I'm starting to see this can be fun. Here's a trick to stop overthinking with linear lists of letters or numbers- write the sequence backward. When I did the CIFAIPC one as CPIAFIC, I saw PACIFIC immediately. I can see the numerical patterns more easily when I write things down. A disadvantage of being a read/write learner. I can't just see or listen, I must write.
For the car, bus, bike, van one I said bus stands out, as all the rest are commonly owned privately and the bus is more often owned by a government or business entity.

Qn 1 answer it's A 60 mins because after an hour the girl would have run 5m, then in 30 minutes time the boy would have run 5 miles at 10mph and in those 30 mins the girl would have run additional 2.5 miles @5mph and for the boy to catch up he should run 2.5miles @10mph he will catch up....initially i thought it was 45 mins👏

Two ways of getting same answer: On the question of boxes with numbers, another pattern one can use to get same answer (9) is you see on the first row one has to add 1 to get to the next figure. In the second row one has to add 2 to get the next figure and in the last row one has to add 3 to get to the next figure so the answer is still 9.
I got them all right, but the reasoning was very different in a lot of them, and the first one had me thinking about the question in a past perfect way, ie. "How long will it have taken for the boy to catch up with the girl", would make more sense to me, rather than "how long will it take for the boy to catch up with the girl"..(for some reason that confused me, because I knew that they would arrive at the same time, but of course we have to consider the fact that he takes one hour to arrive, whereas she will have taken two), hence getting it wrong, but it makes sense now. Of course the question was asked correctly, it just got me confused.
@ 5:00 Vertical sum pattern 6, 12, 18, gave me the answer C '9' . @ 13:29 Far more reasonable's point to Rabbit than Tiger's diet. Rabbits refuge underground, by far shortest lifespan, smallest animal, unique gait, different posture, shorter gestation, limb length & size ratio . @ 18:51 "...one figure is generated combining two figures and a dot." You can't just 'conveniently' shrink the size of the top right side triangle to fit your answer. The correct answer is 'A' . A dot must lie within the sum of the interior angles of a triangle in the bottom row.

Firstly thanks for this video, but I think you have one mistake on 14:13 in the shape question. There are 3 figures and each figure can not be in the same direction. The answer is B. Then in each column and raw, there are no similar figures and they are not in the same direction. However, If the answer is A, there are the same figures inside the table ( two circles are in the same direction).

I disagree with the answer at 16:21. Rather than counterclockwise theory we can see that each row and column had different types of shapes similarly the lines are differently directed in each row and column also from other same shapes. Following this reasoning option B seems more logical to me.
You are right. My line of thought for solving these kind of puzzles is "how many degrees a shape is moved" in this case its 45°. So B is the right answer.

Thanks for this video. It's really helpful for preparing for a test. I do have a critique though - the volume level of the narration jumps up and down significantly throughout the video, which made it difficult to listen to at times, and I had to adjust my volume control quite a bit. You could fix this by taking care to record your audio at approximately the same level each time.

Hello, can you please explain the last one the day before Monday one... you said the reverse method yes I agree but then you said "four days before Monday is Thursday and a day before Thursday is TUESDAY."... day before Thursday is Wednesday... so therefore you'd say "four days before Monday is Thursday and a day before Thursday is Wednesday if tomorrow is Wednesday then today is Tuesday".

Sir, I was just looking through your video. But the question with triangle ,circle and square with lines behind them. You have chosen wrong answer as in second row they are changing directions also. So how come triangle and square are facing different direction and circle with 3lines to it faces the same. I am talking about question which comes at 16:10 mins.

I used some Uworld, some Remar, and read a lil saunders. I did 3 nurse achieve exams and my result came back failed
I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was so easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mr James am really grateful
At 16:22 we can observe that the figures are actually revolving in clockwise direction, which means that the circle's line would actually come to the right, rather than it being the same as the one in first row
Edit: Also in the last question a simpler method is to count the number or days, which adds up to 7 (3+4) and since a week has 7 days, we can conclude that it is the same week day as Monday

Thank you so much for doing these. I'm starting to see this can be fun. Here's a trick to stop overthinking with linear lists of letters or numbers- write the sequence backward. When I did the CIFAIPC one as CPIAFIC, I saw PACIFIC immediately. I can see the numerical patterns more easily when I write things down. A disadvantage of being a read/write learner. I can't just see or listen, I must write.
First time doing a psychometric test. I just finished this video and i am craving coffee😂😂
I think the answer to this question is B because in the second row each shape turns 180 degrees in the clockwise direction.

Qn 1 answer it's A 60 mins because after an hour the girl would have run 5m, then in 30 minutes time the boy would have run 5 miles at 10mph and in those 30 mins the girl would have run additional 2.5 miles @5mph and for the boy to catch up he should run 2.5miles @10mph he will catch up....initially i thought it was 45 mins👏

Oh my gosh .. these trick questions are so deceiving ! Thanks for a great assessment ! explanations are so clear ! I feel dumb :(
Two ways of getting same answer: On the question of boxes with numbers, another pattern one can use to get same answer (9) is you see on the first row one has to add 1 to get to the next figure. In the second row one has to add 2 to get the next figure and in the last row one has to add 3 to get to the next figure so the answer is still 9.
I did mine yesterday there´s still psychotechnics tests to go . but it was very helpfull for maths reasoning .

I got them all right, but the reasoning was very different in a lot of them, and the first one had me thinking about the question in a past perfect way, ie. "How long will it have taken for the boy to catch up with the girl", would make more sense to me, rather than "how long will it take for the boy to catch up with the girl"..(for some reason that confused me, because I knew that they would arrive at the same time, but of course we have to consider the fact that he takes one hour to arrive, whereas she will have taken two), hence getting it wrong, but it makes sense now. Of course the question was asked correctly, it just got me confused.
@ 5:00 Vertical sum pattern 6, 12, 18, gave me the answer C '9' . @ 13:29 Far more reasonable's point to Rabbit than Tiger's diet. Rabbits refuge underground, by far shortest lifespan, smallest animal, unique gait, different posture, shorter gestation, limb length & size ratio . @ 18:51 "...one figure is generated combining two figures and a dot." You can't just 'conveniently' shrink the size of the top right side triangle to fit your answer. The correct answer is 'A' . A dot must lie within the sum of the interior angles of a triangle in the bottom row.

Firstly thanks for this video, but I think you have one mistake on 14:13 in the shape question. There are 3 figures and each figure can not be in the same direction. The answer is B. Then in each column and raw, there are no similar figures and they are not in the same direction. However, If the answer is A, there are the same figures inside the table ( two circles are in the same direction).

I disagree with the answer at 16:21.
Rather than counterclockwise theory we can see that each row and column had different types of shapes similarly the lines are differently directed in each row and column also from other same shapes. Following this reasoning option B seems more logical to me.
You are right. My line of thought for solving these kind of puzzles is "how many degrees a shape is moved" in this case its 45°. So B is the right answer.

These look like basic reasoning questions, Psychometric tests are more complex. They have it here for military personnels in India.

Thanks for this video. It's really helpful for preparing for a test. I do have a critique though - the volume level of the narration jumps up and down significantly throughout the video, which made it difficult to listen to at times, and I had to adjust my volume control quite a bit. You could fix this by taking care to record your audio at approximately the same level each time.
My brain worked it differently. Even though I got 10 for the answer I worked it as half of 800 is 400, quarter of 400 is 100, one tenth of 100 is 10.

Hello, can you please explain the last one the day before Monday one... you said the reverse method yes I agree but then you said "four days before Monday is Thursday and a day before Thursday is TUESDAY."... day before Thursday is Wednesday... so therefore you'd say "four days before Monday is Thursday and a day before Thursday is Wednesday if tomorrow is Wednesday then today is Tuesday".

Just wondering if this would be the same testing for Canada
I haven't finished watching the video as yet but I am loving it. I feel like I'm exercising my brain LOL. For one of the questions where we had to rearrange the letters to make a 5 letter English word, I also chose B but the word I spelled was heaps, not shape 😅.

Sir, I was just looking through your video. But the question with triangle ,circle and square with lines behind them. You have chosen wrong answer as in second row they are changing directions also. So how come triangle and square are facing different direction and circle with 3lines to it faces the same. I am talking about question which comes at 16:10 mins.
