Area 1 = left side rectangle = 100 x 50 = 5000m^2,
Area 2 = right side rectangle = 80 x 100 = 8000m^2,

6:11 Haha I solved it differently. Every 2nd number is the previous number +10, so there must be a +10 difference between the next pair, so the last one is correct. :D

So, my answers correspond for the most part with those of other people. However, my answer for question 9 is different. As a non-native speaker this may be a nuance-problem. However, I was doubting between A and C, because the other options have obvious spelling mistakes (there vs their). However, in my opninion (and my mother tongue), both "brought" and "bought" could be correct. I know the difference between the two, that is not the problem. One is the past tense of "to bring" the other of "to buy", but I would say both are possible correct answers. Now, in the end I chose the sentence saying "brought". I chose this, because the father was happy, so for that he must have received it, so it was reletively certain that the gift was brought to him. However, it is not certain that the present was bought. It could also be homemade or homegrown. Hence, my answer was A. Is there a reason why it should be C? Can you not say that you bring someone a gift? Thanks a lot!

@@Volume1382 the correct answer is 100kg I believe. It's the opposite to the example he give before as the weight is now on the opposite side.
15 ÷3= 5
5 ×20kg= 100kg (multiply instead of divide for this example)

Q15- Ans: We have to simply increase the weight by 5 times to get the correct answer.
so, weight should be 20X5=100kg

@@lorenciasmuts188 divide 15 by 3.. you will get 5 and then to calculate x, multiply 5 by 20 so the final answer will be 100kg

At 8:45, why is the right side dimension shown in meters squared, viz. "80m2"? Meters squared is not a proper dimension of length. Surely this was not trick question by your actually intending that the right side dimension (drawing not to scale) be 6,400m. Or was the "2" in the "80m2" just a typo on the drawing???? What if we encounter a nonsense question like this on a real test? Attempting to bring it to the attention of the test proctor would result merely in a rebuff and instruction to answer as best you can. That would make as much sense as being told to answer as best you can a nonsense question like, "How tall is a standard quadrilateral?
Thank you for pointing that out. I thought it was just me who saw it. Thankfully it was just a typo as the uploader replied to another person and said 1300m2 is in fact the correct answer
I slightly disagree with the way you explained Q.10, the answer is A. The reason is if you actually made the cube from paper and looked at it from the same angle as in A then you notice that the issue is with the thick black mark/rectangle and the net (lines) being aligned in the wrong directions. The black rectangle should go from north to south, while the stripes should go from left to right. The other side highlighted in the red color is fine.
Funny thing is I also made the cube from paper just now cause that explanation wasn't even making sense😅

Q2 A, another method I found is that ever two numbers are ending as 4 and 2, so use the pattern it's only A and C that matching the same pattern. Then every two numbers difference is 2, so it can't be C, then it must be A.

Here, odd number sequence difference is 14-4=10, 24-14=10,
so, it's next odd number sequence is 24+10=34,
simillarly, even number sequence difference is 12-2 = 10, 22-12 = 10,
it's next even number sequence is 22 + 10=32,
therefore the correct answer is a. 34,32

@@jennifermarchase9989 if you put more weight on the longer side, it is obvious that it will not get balanced. To balance it, you must put less weight on the longer side and heavy weight on the short side so for that you have to multiply 20 by 5

Thanks, this is to go for a job just above minimum wage and a job that doesn't need such applied thinking, and yet this is the standard for an average everyday job. You literally need a Mensa 150 plus IQ for underpaid work. What a world I live in.

Make multiple cut outs of different shaped boxes. Once you do the test, fill them out and go from there. You will never go wrong with it but it will take a couple seconds just to draw it out
