He's such a super superhuman. Your average swimmer would be hugging the wall, unable to lift their arms as they caught their breath after this race. Micheal appears only mildly winded as he raises his arms in victory. This race is the capstone on his legendary career for me.

I wasn't sure Phelps would even be competitive when he came back in 2016. But he won 5 Olympic golds and 1 silver.....I guess he knew what he was doing....

@@AndrewSmith-pn2qc He (or anyone) needs to be in the olympic/USA drug testing program for a certain amount of time before he is allowed to compete again. Since he's retired, he isn't currently.
For olympian swimmers ,very difficult to repeat getting gold medals in 2 olympics, Le Clos, J Schooling for example. Up and down Phelps get gold 200m butterfly, 2004 2008 2016, amazing.

Poor Cseh! He is def one of my all time favourite swimmers... Always swimming in the shadows if Lochte and Phelps. He should be talked about a lot more. He is def one of the best out there - so consistent.

Only person who has gone faster then him on 200 free is Paul biderman and that doesn't count as he had the arena x-glide. I think Yanick Angel is better then him even though he wasn't at rio. Is 200 free at London was incredible but not as fast as phelps in the LZR

Phelps was 30 and he was 20, the fact that he was winning at 30 in a dynamic sport like swimming is absolutely insane, him medaling there would still be insane but getting 1st... Unreal.
To Leclos - Hope you have learned 2 important lessons in your swimming career, FIRST keeping an eye of Phelps is dangerous, SECOND not keeping an eye on the other swimmers, like in this case the Japanese on your right is even more catastrophic. Golden rule swim your stroke at your best. Additional note: Swimming is always as a dynamic sports unlike any other sports, only few great men make it to the podium in 3 or more olympic occasions.

자세히 보니 브라질 선수 르클레르가 마지막 50 중간쯤에서 펠프스를 쳐다보네요. 이실수로 은메달 날아감. 펠프스 신경쓰다가 옆에 그동안 안보이던 일본선수가 바짝 따라온걸 놓쳤네요.아마 2012년 200 접영에서 방심한 펠프스를 0.01초차로 이긴걸 생각한듯..르끌레르는 2016에서도 펠프스만 신경쓰면서 어찌 해볼까 하다가 일본선수에게 당함.

Is it just me or does anybody else also don’t like this commentator? Like I mean, he’s just so centered on the winner of the race. Just talking about Phelps and Le Clos and brief moments about Cseh in the Race, and not even introducing the other 5 swimmers who worked their butts off to get here. Even in the men’s 100 Free final, he was so self centered on Kyle Chalmers. During the 1st 50 when Chalmers was behind, he was just saying stuff of Chalmers basically, even in the first 50. Stuff about him not even being in a medal position, barely talking about the other swimmers. I think that he isn’t a good commentator. Just so centered on the gold medalist and forgetting about every1 else
