It literally was a granny cabin when we bought it. A well known local builder had built it for his mother in the 80s ❤️ Granny cabin vibes in full force.

I would love the floor plans . I’ll be showing this video to my architect when the time comes. He’ll figure it out. Everyone will have something they would tweak. For a granny cabin, It’s perfect. I have a fear of falling down stairs while carrying the laundry basket. First floor laundry is a must for me. This is in my top 5 of all time.

This is so beautiful, warm with all the wood floors, ceilings, walls, and that amazing stone fireplace. Love the little nooks in the bay windows & that sweet front porch. The kitchen counter tiles add to the rustic, cabin vibe throughout. And it would be amazing to soak in the hot tub amidst the surrounding forest to get a true nature bathing atmosphere. And I must admit that I do prefer your usual filming style, so many thanks for another great escape to share!

Oh this was absolutely Gorgeous 😍 I love everything about it! Those windows are stunning, the round, half moon, then the amazing huge one where the table was 😮❤ i had quite a laugh though, one of my cats is called Checkers. When you said about the checkers game, he looked quite startled 😂 I've never seen him respond to his name on media before 😂😂 I loved this place, such gorgeous cosy vibes from it. I can see a lit Christmas tree there and the snow falling outside, absolute heaven ❤
Edited to add: I'm so glad this was done in normal filming, pov would really have let its beauty down ❤

Super cozy cabin. I could live there. It does look like the outside house and deck area could use a little TLC. It is a lot of work having a place in the woods. I have lived on top of a mountain for the last 25 years and love it but the work never ends. Pros and cons with everything.

I would expand the home (if it was primary residence) for a chef's kitchen. It would increase the sq ft for the upstairs. Love the design. Looks like a crawl space, but possibly a small cellar like room you could use for storage and/or untilities. Reminds me of old 'shelters' you would find on farms in the mid-west for tormado coverage.

Beautiful house, the only problem is it has a fireplace instead of a woodburning stove. I’m assuming they have some kind of central heat, because fireplaces are notoriously inefficient for heating.
