John and Finn are so cool to me. They came down to St Pete Florida 2023 for a tiny house festival and Finn let me and my son in for free❤❤❤ she has such a sweet spirit. Lol I actually have a portion of John speaking at the festival on my channel to share with my friends and family about biogas 😂they inspire me so much❤I love their home it looks so cozy but I’m in love with the outdoor tub! Their home looks like heaven to me.

I’m only half way through but a few things of note: 1) I wish I had the gumption to live like they do 2) he’s in his 60s?!?!?! 3) I so appreciate the animal love 4) Fin’s high-end meets backwoods / shabby-chic vibe is GORGEOUS!

There are definitely creative aspects of their homestead that i would consider for a tiny house off grid that is a little more structured and conventional.
Definitely... I guessed 50 but I was still a decade off. Clean food + healthy mental state + possibly some weightlifting (yellow weight rack on the deck at 1:47) no doubt contributes to their youthfulness!

@@motopolak Thank you 😊 Fun Fact: The weights and workout equipment all belong to Fin… she’s a body builder, cross-fit nut, powerlifter, personal trainer, yogi, vegetarian, LMT, and has never had alcohol her entire life… John on the other hand is a member of the “red meat eaters book of the month club”, drink Coke Zero, and the only sweat he breaks out in is working around our property & watching Fin work out 🔥😈 🤪👍👍🏽

Wow! This may be my favourite of all your episodes! I love this couple, I love all the design by Finn (I really want what you have hanging behind your bed on the wall!!! Where do I get that?) I love the animal rescue, the biomass toilet, the low cost.....just everything. What a great couple, great energy and humour and playfulness. I have such respect for people that make their house into the home of their dreams. so many people think only of resale value and make design/function/decor decisions based on that. I think that is an underrated part of going tiny. People seem to feel more free to follow their imagination and heart with creating their home.

He's 60ish?? What the what?? I figured mid-40s. What an adorable couple! You can just see how in sync and in love they are. I LOVE the home they have created and in particular the sanctuary. Thank you 😊 We found our kitchen sink on Craigslist List for $100 about 13 years ago and all our lamps & chandeliers all have come off Facebook Marketplace, dumpster dives, house demos, and when we go picking 👍👍🏽☺️

The whole place is amazing, but that greenhouse kitchen is truly magical! It's like something that I would expect to see if Nancy Meyers directed a Harry Potter film!
I love everything about this, but that greenhouse kitchen is wonderful! What a lot of work, but over years, it is all amazing! Then surrounded by the animals. They will be kept youthful, I am sure, in that lovely environment.❤

John and Finn's home is quite spectacular! I love the greenhouse & koi pond kitchen for easy access for veggies while cooking. Lots of great places to crash for relaxing or sleep. The cat patio is wonderful for the felines to hang out too. Love all of your outdoor gardens as well as all of the barnyard animals that populate the property. Thanks for sharing. Jenny

I did a shed conversion to make an office for myself outside of my small house. It turned out really well and people often comment that you would never know it had been a regular old shed before. Never thought about converting one into a house. Really great idea. Love the "barn style" that you started with. Your whole place has a wonderful vibe and the two of you seem like a really great couple. Kudos!

I love these two! They are adorable! I love how she proposed to him! LOL. This is just gorgeous, she really has this magical natural elegant whimsical charming loving way of decorating. How she put that koi pond in the sunroom kitchen almost felt intentional for the cats! It is so sweet to see how thoughtful they are with the play area/ cat sanctuary and their love for all their sweet animals. Especially the end when she kisses the chicken that was so sweet! ♥
No way he is in his sixties! I thought he was in his forties. Wow. The place is amazing!
