The bx is already wired for the third function, there are wires with the plug end already on it between the right rear wheel and the loader valve. Grapples are a game changer, love your videos!!!
Excellent video! You now can send out your resume 😉. Good work especially with the filming and editing and getting the job done well and quickly. Looks like a good diverter kit!
Man that is a really nice setup. Ive had an add a grapple on my pin on BX bucket for a few years now. Lucas, you are going to be amazed on how handy that thumb will be. The thumb will keep you in the seat instead of having to jump out and put whatever in that fell out when scooping. It is great for scooping up heavy sod balls, or picking up firewood rounds or small sections of fallen timber, or loading the wood mill you have. The thumb or add a grapple is, by far, the best attachment you can put on the BX IMHO.
Lucas, Glad you are having fun with this Artillian stuff. Problem is with a few of us out here in the land of the current 'New Booming Economy and Prosperity', it'll be tough to jump on board. Grapple would be nice, I have a few dozen oak trees to prune every year, and branch time is always fun, but 4 or 5K for the system is a road block on a retiree's budget. Great stuff for contractors though, I'm sure! I'm saving pennies for a 300 plus buck trenching bucket, maybe by Christmas. Thank for the video Sir!!! 🙂
Man, listen, I’m right there with you. RUclips is allowing me to have things that I never could have had otherwise. I get it. You have to travel the path that works for your budget and there isn’t a thing wrong with that. Artillian will tell you up front they are a premium product at a premium price. That being said, they live up to that. The quality of their products is top notch! Best of luck on that trenching bucket! That will come in very handy! Thanks for watching! 👊
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Curiosity question. Looked at the website but it looks like that grapple is only made for the rock bucket. Sure would be nice if they could adapt it to the current BX bucket as well...
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead AH, actually found a pallet forks mounted grapple gripper from Titan Attachments, place where I got my buck mounted pallet forks for about 1K. Answered my own question, Thanks, Lucas
I don’t believe they show a kit for the Kioti yet, but I will mention it to them, Kioti is quickly growing so they may have something in the works. 🤷🏼♂️
Great vid i just bought a bx 2680 i put rear remotes on for a rear snow blower with hyd chute controller's and i just built a stump bucket now i relized i want a grabber on it lol.Anyway a new set of remotes for the front our to expensive right now so i'm goin to run hoses from the back remote to use it .I think some kind of third function now a days should be standard for the compact tractors with all the implement's out there.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I’ve used them for years at work on much bigger equipment so I’ve been spoiled unfortunately at home on the BX I have to be mindful of it’s limitations
Lucas: that is one scary outfit. My neighbour has a grapple. It makes weird noises when he uses it. All the chipmunks head for the tops of the trees when they hear it. I would like a grapple but cannot really justify getting one, at the moment. Someday. All the best. Can't wait to see the wood yard take shape.
Yeah, I understand that I don’t have the money to have every attachment I want. This RUclips thing has opened up a whole new world for me and I’m thankful. We will definitely get our food out of this one in the wood yard though! Have a great week! 👊
I’ve been considering the rock bucket and grapple from them. My dealer installed a 3rd function on my tractor for a landpride grapple already, which uses flat face couplers. Do you know if Artilian provided you hoses with flat face couplers that go from the grapple to your 3rd function plugin? Also, the primary reason I’d want that setup is to pick up large scoops of split firewood. Is that something you could demonstrate? Thanks!
Absolutely! It will be a couple of weeks before I can get it recorded, edited and published, but it is something I want to do. I’ll try to get to it this weekend. I’m not sure if they have flat face couplers from Artillian, but that should be an easy switch. I am going to pickup some totes for slab firewood and I was going to test scooping that and filling the totes. I’ll get that done as soon as I can.
FINALLY lol, Welcome to the 3rd function group buddy. Happy playing.
😂🤣. finally indeed!

Where were you when I was running my wires?! lol.
Definitely is! I am loving it. 👊
That’s going to be a game changer! Nice work Lucas!!!
Thanks, Man!
That loader really connected back on super easily.
It is a great system. I take it on and off all the time.

Thanks, Joe. It really is a quality kit. Sure is making it a lot easier to move logs too!

I am starting to figure that out! Test video comes out tomorrow. I can hardly contain my excitement!

Thank you Lucas. Great video as always 😊
Thanks for the support! 😊
Very nice addition to your tractor!
Thank you!
Another great addition Lucas. You will enjoy that thing. I would love to get one for my 1025r someday.
Yeah, it is a game changer! Hope you can!
Very nice job Lucas, great video!👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, I had no idea what a game changer it was going to be! It is the best upgrade I’ve made to my BX! 👊
Now I’m jealous! I want a grapple !

Hey Lucas, me and the boys are liking the liberal use of zip ties, 10/10. Also, you made Wills' day (his head was big enough) haha!
lol Will is the man! 👊. Zip ties are like duct tape, you can’t use too many. 😂
Nice set up! Now go pick up a tree!!
