I`m probably a rare one here, because i go by the book on everything i own. Could be why i don`t have nearly the issues others have i guess. I even buy the shop manuals. Still an excellent video regardless Lucas.
Braggards should just stick to their own channels and watch themselves over and over. We don't care that you think you're better than everyone else or that your way of doing stuff is the only way everyone else should do it. If this issue was addressed in the manual, you should either cite the publication date and the page number or just keep to yourself.
Have the bx1850 which is about 14 years old. They had problems with that not returning to center position for a while. I greased and adjusted many times before i was happy with it. Great videos.
Have a 2650 and the same thing happened.....I never greased the one fitting for the pedal....thank-you. I watched videos where guys spent 2 days checking the fuses circuitry dilithium crystals and Flux capacitor and it was the pedal every time...lol
Thank you for making this video. You saved the Day! It's hard to believe that a little grease and exercising the forward and reverse pedals would prevent my tractor from starting. After checking battery voltage and the fuses I turned to youtube. Thanks again!
Good tip, Lucas. Our L Series creeps but it doesn't have a grease fitting on the treadle. I've bent that HST damper before....they are $100!! Oh, and WalMart has literally been out of grease for months.
Wow, just wow!!' Watched your video as I had the same problem even though I have greased the fitting. re-greased and problem solved. Well done, back in business
my dealer told me the BX has 1 grease fitting. and that was it. the tractor has no other grease fittings. Now the attachments and implements have a crap ton. nice video
Thanks for the video and SUPER thanks for the tip on the tractor not starting due to the position of the treadle pedal needing grease!! I definitely have this issue and it has aggravated the hell out of me. Thanks again!!!
Great! I had that problem with the tractor not starting and thought it was the switch. Now, if it happens again I will move the peddle. Thank you, Ralph
I constantly forget to grease that point. I think I've greased it exactly once in the (almost) 150 hours I've got on my BX. I always grease everything else then go about my business only to realize a few minutes later that I forgot to get that one. "No problem, I'll catch it next time. One missed greasing isn't going to hurt anything..." Then, yeah -- I forget it the next time and the whole cycle starts again lol
Good info. Really like your NA Miata. How long have you had it? I have had my 2001 NB since new and it still looks and drives as new. Cheers, Steve/OHIO
Pretty sure this is the only zerk fitting on the tractor, obviously not including the FEL or BH. Have you ever done the recommended adjustment for the home position of the pedal?
Mine came with a broken HST fan. They cost less than 15$. Took about 3 hours and I drilled the hole rather than taking everything apart. Used it 1 hour and a stick broke it…again. Second time took me an hour plus I installed the skid plate. Wise to do so. The dealer charges around 400 I was told.
Well I'll be darned I found mine on an older tractor and the zerk fitting was covered up with bed liner, and I've been having issues where I let off and the tractor wants to keep going so now I know how to fix it
Thanks for taking the time to create these videos. I actually have been greasing this fitting as part of the schedule, but my neighbor had no idea. I refer him to your channel! Keep up the good work 👍
help my bx2380 seat switch is bad used jumper wire on switch by front of seat didnt work , i have to bounce hard on seat to get it to work , if my weight shifts on seat it stalls, by passed connection to seat switch and same , stalls , is there a fuse i can remove to fix it ?
Shame, shame. Looks like someone hasn't been watching Paul Shorts old maintenance video he put out a few years ago. Lol Also, don't forget to turn the knobs for both mower lift and the one that controls speed of rear pto lift arms. Paulsaid they'll freeze up as well. As a matter of fact, I am going to do my now.
If you have a BX and you don't know what and how to grease it you need to sell it it now. It is not a lawn mower that you put gas in as needed. It is a machine to be respected and maintained.
I’ll be greasing that fitting tomorrow for sure 👍🏻😉🤣, thanks for sharing Lucas 👍🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️
Thanks, Luc!

Nothing wrong with that. No doubt it is why your equipment performs. 👍

I never knew that fitting was there. Thanks for the advice. You saved me a service call at my Kubota dealer
Good point! This one may need the special Lear Jet grease tube. It gets used every time the tractor fires up.
😂 That’s right!
Thanks so much for the view. I just bought my tractor a few days ago so all this information is very helpful to a new BX owner

I bought a case at Rural King, because I was basically out when I shot this video.
Just did my 400 hr maintenance a few days ago. Did not know about that fitting. If all else fails, read directions, or watch your videos. Thanks

My tractor stalled and this tip fixed it. Same senario as you described. Thanks for the great advice.
Good to hear! 👊
Great tip, well timed as I am about to do my 1st 10 hour grease on my loader. Love the channel and keep up the great work, i really appreciate it.
Thanks for leaving me a comment! Enjoy your BX!

Thank you. Really appreciate you taking the time and putting in the thought and effort to put these lessons together. Be well
You are welcome!
What a place for a grease fittings. Thanks.
I knew about that fitting, but I am like you. i dont do every thing exactly.
I missed that grease fitting the manual. Will get it handled tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. Subbed and liked.
Thanks!

Actually I haven’t. Probably would hurt to check that. 👍
That little cooling fan used to be very very expensive to replace - if you use it in rough conditions you might want to get a aftermarket guard.
😂🤣. You’re not wrong. I replaced my fan for $18 but it was a decent job. I have a video on it. It doable in under 2hours.

Didn’t know about this sensor will check it
Thanks never know that greese fitting was there
Good information 👍🏻
wiley,thanks.
I will need to check the situation on my treddle pedal for my older b7800 I think it has given me a couple of no starts in the last year.
I don’t know if they are the same, but I’m sure similar…. Good luck!
Thanks for taking the time to create these videos. I actually have been greasing this fitting as part of the schedule, but my neighbor had no idea.

I’m sorry, I don’t know the fix for that off hand…

Lucas: well I never knew that. I only have 119 hours on Mr K, so will keep an eye on it. Take care and stay safe.
Have a great week!
Hurry people go to 3:25

Relax and take a deep breath my friend!
@@vc8160 I must have had a bad day. I don't even remember it.
I hate reading directions
