  • Many people that found out I have a dance pole at home are pretty surprised and curious as to how I install it. They seem so impressed when I tell them I installed it myself. I made a video to show how easy it is to install it. Please note that X-Pole recommends installing the poles with two people to avoid injuries. I'm not setting a good example :(

    Once should always install a pole where a beam is so this way the ceiling will not be affected.

      Melissa Piontek it might be an older model. Yes she says this is an xpert pole so it should be a spinning and static pole

    Hey! THe bottom piece when I attach it, it does screw on but the circle base spins; is it safe still? :/

    • @PoleAsana
      @PoleAsana  7 лет назад +1

      That sounds odd! Are you sure it spins when you've installed it? That wouldn't make much sense...
      Unless you're asking about when you are still assembling it, but it's still not installed yet. In that case, it's supposed to spin :)

      Hey! Nevermind! Its supposed to wobble my instructor told me lol! Got the pole up though thanks though! THe problem is that its now a combination of sticky and slippery:( I struggle to do half the things that I can easily do at my studio!

    I found it very hard to buy online, they are out of stock because every one is buying them. I found if you buy at a local metal manufacturing company they all make brass poles at a affordable price. Mine cost $300 Cdn :)

    How long does this take? I don't have much room in my tiny flat, but I think I could manage if I put it up every time I need it and take it down while not in use. Also, is it safe to install on carpeted floors? And how do you know where a joist in the ceiling is? Thank you!

    • @Anne.Freemountain
      @Anne.Freemountain 7 лет назад +4

      I estimate 10 minutes at the beginning at most, but it will be faster if you are practiced.
      You can find a joist by knocking o the ceiling.

    • @kellyin

      hello, due to limited space I have at home, I may need to assemble and dissemble each time I want to practice. The question is, are there any side effect on the lifespan and 'health' of the pole by doing so, say 3 times a week?

    I still have trouble getting mine perfectly straight and they've eventually come crashing down mid performance! Does anyone know if there is a device I can use, specifically to keep the pole standing upright, while I twist it into place?
