Yeah, but why single out and disparage a client? And why Clinton? who has been pilloried and demonized by the right-wing for years. So many personal attacks, for so long, mainly just ad hominems, and hate, without rational grounding have turned her into caricature of person. I once photographed George Clooney at a VIP event in Houston. He was not friendly and treated me poorly. He was rushing me to get through photos with guests that paid $$$$ to have their photo taken with him. Frustrating. I also had the chance to take photos of Betty White at a similar event. She was an angel and sweet to everyone. At the end of the event she came up to me and asked "Would you like a photo with me??". I smiled and said, "YES! Absolutely!", and my assistant grabbed a photo of us together. I cherish that moment.
I can’t stand the woman but for what it’s worth my ex-boss ran a chocolate business and catered truffles at one of her 2016 fundraisers. She ate one of them and told her “maybe we’ll have to serve your chocolates in the White House”. It was a nice comment but that is about the extent of their interaction.
I worked with people who were politically connected, and they encountered Hillary and Tipper Gore often. They said that Tipper was wonderful to work with, but refused to utter a single word when we asked what Hillary was like.
Several Secret Service agents had enough material to write a book and did as part of their therapy. She's an absolute nightmare to work for. No wonder Bill screwed around and always had to attend an out-of-town meeting when she was around.

My dad was standing behind her in line to get coffee back in the early 2000’s. He saw the secret service and then realized who she was. He described her as a short angry woman.

I shot Donald Trump in 2015. In stark contrast to this story, he couldn't have been more hospitable. He met us at breakfast to introduce himself, he then played 18 holes of golf with the writer, meeting me on the 11th tee box for a twenty-minute shoot where I'd set up some lights. I then followed him down the back nine where he wouldn't stop chatting with me, asking me about my life and joking around.
It took me a second to get the context of those first four words..Funny how this comment wasn't deleted by YT..if you'd said you'd s**t Kamila, it would probably be a different story.
My father was a bomb tech in the Navy (EOD) during the 90s. Whenever high profile politicians came to San Diego, he would work with the Secret Service, checking rooms for explosives or whatever. He did that for the first Bush, Al Gore and Bill and Hillary Clinton. He said back then that Hillary was the absolute worst to the people charged with risking their lives for her. He said she demanded that she didn't want to even see anyone like my father when she entered a room. So they had to clear a room and then scurry away before Clinton entered it. Just pure contempt for anyone not part of her social class.
It came out in spades when she made the comment about Trump supporters being low class losers or something along those lines. She sealed her own fate with drivel like that. Im not surprised about this anecdote.

In arts and entertainment, people very seldom call out this type of behavior because of the (sometimes accurate, unfortunately) notion that it might cost them work down the road. Hilary is a pompous and horrible person. I am so grateful she never got the chance to serve as POTUS. Regarding Harry, the photographer, given this recounting, I recommend he craft a notarized document to the effect: "I am not suicidal."
She would have been far better than Trump. We wouldn't have experienced this awful inflation from his tariffs. The government wouldn't be poking their noses into our family lives and threatening women's lives. We wouldn't be paying o much for food and we'd still be able to eat out whenever we wanted. The pandemic would have been contained just as Obama contained ebola and t would never have been let into the country, killing over a million Americans. It was a disaster under Trump and we're about to go through it again.

I can confirm this tone of hers. I'm a retired officer in NY and know guys who were on her NYSP detail and was told horror stories about how they were treated. She would tell them "don't look at me", "don't talk to me just do your job", "you have a job because of me", and telling her daughter in front of them, "do you want to end up like these people?". Such a nasty person.
my wife was an elementary school teacher and Fmr Secretary Clinton came to her school. Clinton was not only unfriendly and aloof but almost hostile towards staff and students. I cannot say I am surprised by this account of her interactions.
He literally admits to grabbing Hillary in "quite an aggressive way" and muscling her into a makeshift studio, after she's been talking to people for 8 hours, and finally finished an interview. Who wouldn't look angry or startled under such circumstances? Give her a break.
I worked with a lady that was high up in the Pentagon leadership, said she was horrible to deal with. Staff requested to stand again the wall when Hillary walked by with their heads down and not make eye contact. Egomaniacal behavior. These folks that have to interact with some of these people get to see the real deal in person and some of these "public servants" are horrible.

She's terrible, as you've aptly described self-important. She's demonstrated that in grand form many times over. Hillary Clinton won the Grammy for the "It Takes a Village" speech in 1997. For a recipient photo/portrait, they handed her a "Stage" Grammy for the photo. Hillary refused to hand it back even though only two were available on the night of the awards. Hillary used the Secret Service to insulate herself as she walked out with the prop. She stated that she was attending a special dinner that night and that Grammy would be on her table for all to see. An individual of low morals, and total dismissal of anyone not in her circle. You at least got her to cooperate.

One award was being used on stage as they announced a winner, and the second was for the recipients to get a photo with the award backstage. It never occurred to any of them that "someone" would actually take the prop! Recipients do get their official award with engraving later on. Hillary truly showed her selfish and self-centered colors with her extraordinary display. The incident was described in detail on Fresh Air, no words.

I have photographed her a few times! I got hired by her team. I got some great shots but she seemed like robot. She was SO nice when her fans were there, as soon as they left it looked like all of the life drained out of her. When everyone left we were left face to face, I asked her if she needed anything else & she literally looked at me blankly, didn't answer & walked off!
Jay Leno once talked about what it was like to interview Republicans and Democrats on the Tonight Show. I remember him saying that having a Republican on was so much easier than Democrats. I once had to wait 4 hours in the drive way of a famous director in Los Angeles while they were interviewed for a tv show. We had to wait until someone asked him if they could bring in stills. At the end he said no. I went home and still got paid for a full day.
I think the day worked in the photographers favour. It actually caught HRC off guard and he captured her true essence. No hiding that psychopathic stare. It's like staring into an empathy black hole. Quite scary on so many levels.

As a unit stills photographer, I have waited far too long for so many actors. You just have to accept as a photographer, you're not crucial.............until they need the publicity ! I flew to Nice once to photograph Michael Caine and Michael Keaton. I waited and I waited. Eventually Michael Caine arrived ( at the scheduled time) but no M Keaton. I needed them both together for a two shot. M Caine was as usual a great bloke and very professional. Keaton on the other hand, a different story. His Make up artist and seemingly 'manager' said. "Michael's tired, he doesn't want to do the shoot." So, Michael Caine said... "I've been tired for f***in' years, and I'm doing the picture ! So, I just photographed Michael Caine on his own and flew back to London. I never set eyes on Mr Keaton.
The thing is that as people who have served these rich and famous jerks and got screwed over by them we really should be able to let the whole world know what kind of people these stars and celebs really are so maybe they won't be idolized as much as they are because they truely don't deserve the love they receive they certainly don't return any love.

I worked as an RN, who made home care visits. One of my patients had a son who worked for the secret service. He told me that she was rude and disrespectful to all the agents. These were people who were supposed to take a bullet for her. They all hated being assigned to her. She was a screamer who had an anger management problem. She once threw something at Bill during an argument and he needed stitches. Bill Clinton was reported to have been very personable, and friendly to the agents. I was told this during the end of Bill’s second term of his presidency. I have since read several books about the secret service that back this guy’s account, that were written later.

The Chicago DNC 1996. As a rookie I was assigned a street corner for the convention. Also assigned to this corner of people without clout were 3 secret service agents. One of them related to me that while in the White House, he and Hillary passed each other in the hallway. He said “Good morning Ma’am”, and with utter contempt she replied “Fuck you”. This occurred several years before a different agent published a book recounting the exact same thing. It amazes me that anyone perceives her as a classy, kind and caring person. Off topic, the 3 secret service agents were just great people to hang out with. They were fun, down to earth and just cool as fuck.
I don't remember in which book about them, that recounted the second inauguration morning when the Secret Service overheard Her and Bill screaming at each other. Apparently, her pet name for him is "you stupid motherfucker!", and his for her is "you fucking bitch!"... I imagine that was shortly before or after the photoshoot of them walking on the beach smiling, holding hands looking so very in love with each other. When they were married, she said enthusiastically "I do"... he replied "I don't have to fuck her do I?"
I had to encounter many like her working in VA medical clinical world and Espec the hospital directors and their staff! Did you even watch the video? The photo shoot was on the schedule. Without that no photographer would even get past the multiple levels of security. HRC is known for blowing off people even when they have appointments. This has been related numerous times by people who have dealt with her.

I created images as a photographer for 40 years and had the honor of capturing people on film from Ronald Reagan to farmers in overalls. I recall a handful that were very much into themselves. My experience was, routinely, that one’s hidden personality came to light at some point in the shoot. Some subjects with little power were far more difficult than others in much higher positions. The key for me was not being prejudiced. The goal was always to engage the subject immediately so they would understand how this one photograph could be the best ever taken of them and that I was the one who could create it. BTW, Reagan was great!

I think the video is fine, but the title is bad clickbait. This was a discussion of a typical photo shoot for a promotional tour. This stuff happens all the time. I was a second unit photographer on a large Hollywood feature, and because I was there on behalf of the producers, who need quality stills to sell and promote the film, lots of people on the film don't want to cooperate. Which only hurts them in the end. The headline intimates that Ms. Clinton was awful, but it was the entire circumstance, that was awful. Important distinction. Every photographer who has been hired to make images, has had the inexplicable experience of showing up, but the folks don't want you there. It's like "Seriously"?
I will never forget the look on her face when she toured that apartment in West Virginia during her campaign. She was literally disgusted to touch anything.

My mother has been a portrait photographer for 30 years, has won the Kodak gold award, and has been the sole breadwinner of our family and has managed to make a small fortune through her work and reputation. Before digital, there were only 12 shots on a (large format) film. During each session she would take maximum 12, perhaps 24 snaps. And with digital, she’s the same. Every, single, shot, is decent. She forms a connection with each of her subjects, and can truly see and know when the right moment is. So many photographers choose to press the shutter continuously, hoping for something amongst the quantity. You can instantly tell those photographers. They might be technically proficient, but they haven’t got that special one to one connection. I know for a fact that my mum would have simply refused to press the button as the results would be sup-par. She'd rather get no snaps than bad ones. Even if it was the most famous person in the world (and she’s photographed a few of them too!). Just my opinion and happy for you disagree.
20 years ago I worked at a spa in upstate ny. One afternoon limos and black town cars pulled up out front. Secret service came in with the sniffing dogs. Someone claiming to be HRC personal assistant told the director of said spa that HRC needed to use her office as a personal work space. My boss being a Democrat was star struck and agreed. She was told to remove ALL personal FX from her own office! HRC was slated to give a speech in a nearby building in the state park the next day. She never showed and no one on her staff had the decency to call my boss to let her know. I didn't like HRC before this but I liked her even less afterwards. The behavior speaks volumes about who she is. Christopher Hitchens had the Clinton's pegged long before anyone else.

Assisting one of your contemporaries, we were booked to shoot Dawn French after an ident she was doing for Comic Relief in the Vicar character. I sat up and waited for six hours on water and crisps, only to hear her tell the BBC PR on the other side of a wall to inform us that she had a meeting to attend, as she was tired and wanted to go home.
Let's be real.....she's never 'put on a good face' if you're paying attention. Intelligence-insulting pandering was the best she could conjure to 'seem relatable.' But that's not surprising considering how many people she's had killed. My theory is she was born genetically incapable of having a conscience.

Trump is actually the only one that said something nice during a debate the question was "say something nice about your opponent" - Hillary went first taking the opportunity to talk about herself and briefly mention she admires his kids - Trump then said "she's a fighter and doesn't quit" he was straight to the point and even generous.

I once photographed George Clooney at a VIP event in Houston. He was not friendly and treated me poorly. He was rushing me to get through photos with guests that paid $$$$ to have their photo taken with him. Frustrating.
I also had the chance to take photos of Betty White at a similar event. She was an angel and sweet to everyone. At the end of the event she came up to me and asked "Would you like a photo with me??". I smiled and said, "YES! Absolutely!", and my assistant grabbed a photo of us together. I cherish that moment.

Has anyone in history ever described Hillary Clinton as amicable or even tolerable? I've never heard a single good encounter with her.
I can’t stand the woman but for what it’s worth my ex-boss ran a chocolate business and catered truffles at one of her 2016 fundraisers. She ate one of them and told her “maybe we’ll have to serve your chocolates in the White House”. It was a nice comment but that is about the extent of their interaction.
I worked with people who were politically connected, and they encountered Hillary and Tipper Gore often. They said that Tipper was wonderful to work with, but refused to utter a single word when we asked what Hillary was like.

I shot Donald Trump in 2015. In stark contrast to this story, he couldn't have been more hospitable. He met us at breakfast to introduce himself, he then played 18 holes of golf with the writer, meeting me on the 11th tee box for a twenty-minute shoot where I'd set up some lights. I then followed him down the back nine where he wouldn't stop chatting with me, asking me about my life and joking around.

My father was a bomb tech in the Navy (EOD) during the 90s. Whenever high profile politicians came to San Diego, he would work with the Secret Service, checking rooms for explosives or whatever. He did that for the first Bush, Al Gore and Bill and Hillary Clinton.
He said back then that Hillary was the absolute worst to the people charged with risking their lives for her. He said she demanded that she didn't want to even see anyone like my father when she entered a room. So they had to clear a room and then scurry away before Clinton entered it.

Staff requested to stand again the wall when Hillary walked by with their heads down and not make eye contact. Egomaniacal behavior. I have photographed her a few times! I got hired by her team. I got some great shots but she seemed like robot. She was SO nice when her fans were there, as soon as they left it looked like all of the life drained out of her. When everyone left we were left face to face, I asked her if she needed anything else & she literally looked at me blankly, didn't answer & walked off!

As a unit stills photographer, I have waited far too long for so many actors. You just have to accept as a photographer, you're not crucial.............until they need the publicity ! I flew to Nice once to photograph Michael Caine and Michael Keaton. I waited and I waited. Eventually Michael Caine arrived ( at the scheduled time) but no M Keaton. I needed them both together for a two shot. M Caine was as usual a great bloke and very professional. Keaton on the other hand, a different story. His Make up artist and seemingly 'manager' said. "Michael's tired, he doesn't want to do the shoot." So, Michael Caine said... "I've been tired for f***in' years, and I'm doing the picture ! So, I just photographed Michael Caine on his own and flew back to London. I never set eyes on Mr Keaton.

I worked as an RN, who made home care visits. One of my patients had a son who worked for the secret service. He told me that she was rude and disrespectful to all the agents. These were people who were supposed to take a bullet for her. They all hated being assigned to her. She was a screamer who had an anger management problem. She once threw something at Bill during an argument and he needed stitches. Bill Clinton was reported to have been very personable, and friendly to the agents. I was told this during the end of Bill’s second term of his presidency. I have since read several books about the secret service that back this guy’s account, that were written later.

This occurred several years before a different agent published a book recounting the exact same thing. It amazes me that anyone perceives her as a classy, kind and caring person.
Off topic, the 3 secret service agents were just great people to hang out with. They were fun, down to earth and just cool as fuck.

Did you even watch the video? The photo shoot was on the schedule. Without that no photographer would even get past the multiple levels of security. HRC is known for blowing off people even when they have appointments. This has been related numerous times by people who have dealt with her.

I created images as a photographer for 40 years and had the honor of capturing people on film from Ronald Reagan to farmers in overalls. I recall a handful that were very much into themselves. My experience was, routinely, that one’s hidden personality came to light at some point in the shoot. Some subjects with little power were far more difficult than others in much higher positions. The key for me was not being prejudiced. The goal was always to engage the subject immediately so they would understand how this one photograph could be the best ever taken of them and that I was the one who could create it. BTW, Reagan was great!
Reagan was an actor, I think that goes a long way to knowing how to interact with an audience, with a camera.

I think the video is fine, but the title is bad clickbait. This was a discussion of a typical photo shoot for a promotional tour. This stuff happens all the time. I was a second unit photographer on a large Hollywood feature, and because I was there on behalf of the producers, who need quality stills to sell and promote the film, lots of people on the film don't want to cooperate. Which only hurts them in the end. The headline intimates that Ms. Clinton was awful, but it was the entire circumstance, that was awful. Important distinction. Every photographer who has been hired to make images, has had the inexplicable experience of showing up, but the folks don't want you there. It's like "Seriously"?

My mother has been a portrait photographer for 30 years, has won the Kodak gold award, and has been the sole breadwinner of our family and has managed to make a small fortune through her work and reputation. Before digital, there were only 12 shots on a (large format) film. During each session she would take maximum 12, perhaps 24 snaps. And with digital, she’s the same. Every, single, shot, is decent. She forms a connection with each of her subjects, and can truly see and know when the right moment is. So many photographers choose to press the shutter continuously, hoping for something amongst the quantity. You can instantly tell those photographers. They might be technically proficient, but they haven’t got that special one to one connection. I know for a fact that my mum would have simply refused to press the button as the results would be sup-par. She'd rather get no snaps than bad ones. Even if it was the most famous person in the world (and she’s photographed a few of them too!). Just my opinion and happy for you disagree.

20 years ago I worked at a spa in upstate ny. One afternoon limos and black town cars pulled up out front. Secret service came in with the sniffing dogs. Someone claiming to be HRC personal assistant told the director of said spa that HRC needed to use her office as a personal work space. My boss being a Democrat was star struck and agreed. She was told to remove ALL personal FX from her own office! HRC was slated to give a speech in a nearby building in the state park the next day. She never showed and no one on her staff had the decency to call my boss to let her know. I didn't like HRC before this but I liked her even less afterwards.
