I have just found your work and have inspired me to take up photography again after I stopped. I was going down the route of blurry mono work but only using a mobile phone and editing using motion blur in software. I will pick up my phone and try once again. I think when you don’t show your photo work to anyone, and after losing even your family and being alone it is a lot harder to stay focused and continue doing your passion.
I will explore your work more and hopefully buy some of your books. Being in a small uninteresting town, it would be great to go on a few trips to somewhere like London and see what I can come up with. Thank you !

As a photographer who just moved from Los Angeles to a tiny boring seaside town I promise you if you shoot your hometown your work will immediately stand out. London has been photographed to death. You're sitting on gold.

Incredible work... I don't even have a camera, but I do want to start getting into photography. Why do I get this sense of horrific emptiness from these photos? Very melancholy or lachrymose to an extent. Maybe this appeals to me as I am very much a fan of Katatonia (a swedish band) and almost all of their work is like this in musical form.

8f my camera gave me as many blurred or out 9f focus imag as ah, I'd have my camera checked or I would use a tripod
