I was in the midst of expanding the height when the red line showed up at the bottom, I was about to get so angry that I had to buy an extension when the website's calculator told me I wouldn't need one. I turned around and nudged the box, causing the last piece to roll out from under some cardboard! it's perfect, I love it. make sure you check the box thoroughly!!!
Just got this pole in times of social distancing. It is my first pole. I have a chrome one at 45 mm because it is the same as my studio. Thinking back, if I have a silicone coated or powder coated one, it would save dryhand for practice at home. It is super heavy but easy to install though it takes me like an hour or more to assemble them on my own when I first received it. It is easy to adjust the height. It comes with one extension which will fit ceiling from 7 feet (without extension) to 9 feet, and more extension can be added for higher ceilings. It comes with 3 hex keys, but unlike the NX pole which does not have the spin switch and has a bigger dome, it doesn’t come with a carry bag. Hope this is useful for those who are thinking about getting an xpole :)
I am living in an apartment and I do not get the one that needs drilling. I got the one with the upper dome. However my ceiling is concrete, not wooden or hallow. It is rather safe so far. There are times I didn’t fix the pole tightly enough and it slide to the side a bit but it never falls. Then I fix it and make sure it straightly aligns and it is fine.
Setting it up is no joke when the x joints get stuck… i was lucky that i didnt have crazy motivation to get it up that i tried over several months until it finally decided to unstuck itself 😭
Awesome instructions and kit. I did the whole install comfortably by myself with a ladder. BUY A MAGNETIC LEVEL AND A DECENT STUD-FINDER for your own sanity though.

Ok can you add removal??? It’s incredibly hard to do and the instruction manual is super confusing to me…. None of the videos I’ve found show removal and it’s really annoying…
I just put the pole on static, unscrewed the 3 screws at the bottom and then started twisting the pole till it came loose, gentle brought it down as to not let the dome drop to the floor :) after that just take the dome and top piece off, unscrew the xjoints and finished :)
He made that look super easy I always get confused when I have to take it down. You have to put it on static before you start loosening the three screws above right?, and then start turning it counterclockwise right?
I can’t get the adjuster to expand like the video. I can tighten it when I twist it to adjust to my ceiling though. Also I can’t spin the pole freely to go into spin mode. I might have to take it down & do it over again.
Hey, I want to order the xpert pole (UK) ASAP however have seen various reviews about inaccurate size recommendations on the website- and customers having to order extra bits etc which I’m worried about...
My A-pole is STUCK to the B-pole and I can’t get it off😧 the expanded x-joint inside wont let go. What should I do? Several strong ppl have tried to unscrew but it’s stuck !! I’m panicking here
The ceiling I wan't to install it under has a beam running through it. Does the entirety of the upper dome need to be flush with beam? As it is about a third of the total surface area of the upper dome would not be in contact with the beam. Is it still possible to install here?
I’m trying to add a 100mm extension but when I put that onto the joint it’s the same length and I can’t attach anything into it! I’ve got the extension from X-Pole so am assuming I’m just being thick here but be great if anyone had any ideas !?
Am I seeing correctly that we don't have to unscrew the screws from the x-joints and then screw them in from the outside of the a- and b-poles? So we just insert them and screw the screws on as they were when they arrived. Somehow this doesn't make any sense to me....someone pls help😢
Are you referring to the black screws or silver screws? You should not have to unscrew the screws completely - they will stay in place, and you will either loosen them or tighten them, but never take them off completely.
Your customer service is unreliable I contacted them they by email yes they email me back but I contacted the office 2 times and no one answer all I’m trying to do is adjust the height of the pole to my ceiling

You realise poles do get slippery, right? That's why there's such a market for grip e.g. dry hands. It helps to clean with metho :)
