I'm a 2000s born so I wouldn't have known about Queen at all, since it's not from my generation and my Parents are not into rock and stuff like that. I ended up stumbling on Queen while I was binging on a bit of Michael Jackson, and ever since I just couldn't stop listening to any of Queens songs and ngl these songs are way better than the songs of our generation.

Well, welcome to MY world. Here's some homework for you:
Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Marillion, Fish, The Who, King Crimson, Alan Parsons Project, Deep Purple, Jon Lord, Led Zeppelin, Saga, Rush, Electric Light Orchestra, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Mike Oldfield, Procol Harum, The Moody Blues. And Camel. Check out their 2014 "In from the Cold Tour" live version of "Lady Fantasy". You'll be blown away.
And perhaps the biggest of them all: Jethro Tull, powered by the musical genious of Ian Anderson.

I’ll continue your list with even better music:
Meshuggah, Alice In Chains, Opeth, Pantera, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Radiohead, Gojira, Faith No More, David Bowie, Candlebox, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deftones, Dir En Grey, Dream Theatre, Iron Maiden, Jane’s Addiction, Jimi Hendrix, LIVE, TOOL, Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Tenacious D, Pearl Jam, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Sepultura, System Of A Down, Type O Negative
I got a bit carried away, but music is amazing, these are some good ones, most of them are a little tad bit heavier than Queen, but yah.
Edit: I wrote Radiohead twice it seems

@@Elis_Nordgall Good bands, but most of them a little too "noisy" for me. I know most of the bands/artists mentioned but I'm more into #standard" progessive and symphonic rock. But even though you mentioned Radiohead twice, it's still one helluva band.

If you like more chill prog rock you should like Porcupine Tree, if you’ve never heard their music, some songs I recommend are:
Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, The Sound of Muzak, Blackest Eyes, Open Car and Lazarus.
For Arriving Somewhere But Not Here and Blackest Eyes, I highly recommend to listen to a live performance
      ruclips.net/video/UCqi63mY1j4/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/W3lsqUqGTzM/видео.html
Btw, that “better music” thing was a joke, music taste is subjective, I also suggested a few of those bands as a joke, like Meshuggah and Gojira.

This song is Freddie’s way of “Coming Out” to the World. In the ‘70’s it wasn’t an accepted thing to be Gay. By his singing of this song he’s telling us. …”Momma, just killed a Man, put a gun up to his head, pulled my trigger now he’s dead.” Freddie can never go back to the way he was. The old Freddie is “Dead”. “Didn’t mean to make you cry, sometimes I wish I’d never been born at all” is the feeling a lot of people feel about their life choice, not that you choose to be Gay, but the lie he had been living, being Straight. All the changes his life is going through and all the changes this Song puts you through. In the end it all comes out alright….”nothing really matters, matters much to me, nothing really matters at all….any way the wind blows!”…..SanJoséBob

Freddie was a gift to music lovers, his voice is amazing. But remember you are reacting to a Queen song. Would this song be the same without Brian May amazing guitar work, or John Deacon's brilliant bass guitar.....not to mention the fantastic drums by Roger Taylor who also does the amazing vocals in the opera part. You mentioned at the start about the great harmonizing , but then you just talked about Freddie. Queen are the only band that had number 1 songs written by every member of the band. That is amazing, Queen is nothing without Freddie but Freddie was nothing without Queen. Great reaction but please remember it is a band not just a singer
