After watching this movie, went to the restroom and as I walked to the sink to wash my hands, a lady asked if anyone had just seen Left Behind. I said I did! She was BEAMING as she said at the end of the movie, her husband of 8 years prayed to receive Christ! Hallelujah!! Neither of them will be left behind!

My only concern with this trailer is the quote, "Cause I asked God to leave me behind." I just wrote a blog about that very thing only a few days ago. Asking God to leave us behind to help evangelize the world is the same as saying that we don't trust that God has everything under control... that somehow our presence is necessary to continue spreading the salvation message after the Rapture. If that were true, then the Rapture wouldn't be necessary. We could all just stay to evangelize the world. But that's not what God has planned. God is preparing 144,000 converted Jewish evangelists PLUS He's sending the Two Witnesses. Yes, with our limited human intellect, it may seem logical to ask that we be left behind, but we're not thinking as God thinks. We think small. God has a wedding feast planned for us, and for us to say, "You know what, Father? I think I can be better used here on earth during the Tribulation, so thanks, but no thanks." Really? I know that the line is taken completely out of context, so I'm going to wait to see the movie before I make any judgments.
Yeah. That line raised my eyebrows, too. I welcome God’s judgment as correction for my life. But I would not want to receive any of His wrath. That will be a time of history so awfully and awesome, but I can’t even imagine the magnitude of the Great Tribulation.

I will trust in Jesus even though I’m struggling, I will never lose hope. Jesus is the only light in this world. I pray God will continue to protect me and my children. As a single mother things are difficult on me. My husband passed years ago I’m alone. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I’m struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need. Thankfully God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Please pray for me and my children.

Our human life is but a vapor, a morning mist. It's hear and it's gone. But when we die, we go to ONE of only TWO places. Jesus died that and gave us free will so we could either choose to repent and accept HIM as both LORD and SAVIOR or to choose ourselves as LORD. We must al choose. A friend went to see this movie tonight. She said it was really good. Interestingly enough, there is no billboard to advertise the movie like other movies are. I am going to see it tomorrow

However, you are implying...of course, it's some conspiracy against Christians, not that it had the budget of an indy flick.

All I can say is that if I were someone looking for or being drawn to Christ, someone curious, someone searching, someone convicted internally but confused and came here. I would be worse off. I heared about insatisfaction from Tim Lahaye's family about the first trilogy, and since that, new project about that are in developed. I hope it's better than the original project, but I think it's hard to reach. And i agree with you. This need to be as close to eh way Bible tells the story!!

Usually movie trailers are huge, but there’s a CLEAR reason on as to why this isn’t getting any exposure. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior.
Who says this movie isn't getting any exposure? How do you quantify this fact? The movie hasn't even come out yet and you are already judging the extent of this movie's impact?!? That's ridiculous.
To start, calm down. Second, look at the views, then compare them to other movie trailers. Horror ones, demonic ones, lgbtq+ movies, that most recent Disney one with the gay main character, the Buzz light year movie, etc. After you do that, then come back and tell me this trailer is getting the same amount of exposure. I wasn’t judging the extent of its impact, but the audience is significantly smaller compared to every other successful movie this year and before that (because most people don’t like the subject of God, duh) You need to consider these things before you get defensive over a movie trailer. 🪑

And still, we all will appear before the judgement seat of Christ and our secrets will be revealed, no matter what we think or believe. Everything is naked in the sight of God and we will need to give Him account.

And for people asking to be left behind...that just seems odd to me and true Christians, whether or not they like it, won't be left behind. This movie is just another hard pass for me. I hear you. To be honest all Christian movies I view with the mentality of entertainment incase they get some things right and some things wrong. As for the truth only, then I go to the Bible. Me too, I have the entire set of books in my library and both my daughter-in-law and I read them and couldn't put them down til the last one. She has since died from cancer and I am so glad we shared "Left Behind"...I now know the feeling of being left behind.

A god, who created the heavens and earth, needs you to believe him prior to death? If we all die someday, logically we could say that we will face god as a believer or non-believer. The question is why would our after-life depend on the fact that we believed or did not believed? Would a god, who is all powerful, somehow be restrictive? Suppose someone lived a good life but simply did not believe. Would god still punish that person? It simply doesn't make sense that two conditions must exist: we must believe, then we must die with that belief.

It’s such a relief to see a new Christian eschatological film that doesn’t look like a high school film project.
I am a big fan of the left behind film series, I remember watching the original three when they came out and I was disappointed when they decided to cancel the original film series after the third one. I hope they actually manage to get enough sequels to cover the entire book of revelations. I think Kevin Sorbo did a fantastic job with this film, I’m sure any sequel he makes will be just as good.
Here’s my review
Pros:
- Great acting by everyone
-For the most part it’s biblically accurate
-Great choreography
-Despite not having a big budget, the film looks good enough that it could be a TV series
- Covers a lot of the book of revelations
-Great messages throughout the film
-The Buck character is interesting because he is a morally good character but is only able to piece things together when realizes that the Bible is true.
Cons:
-The world doesn’t look dystopian enough, even though the “AC” doesn’t have full control of the world in this movie, a post rapture world should look a lot more gloomy and frightening.
-The main antagonist has superpowers for some reason. The problem with the Nicholai Carpathia character is that he has superpowers, his only power should be his charisma which allows him to acquire totalitarian control of the world because he is only the “AC” not a demonic entity.
Overall I give this movie an 8.9/10.
The Bilble tells us that the AC and his "prophet" will have enough power to operate false miracles, and many will be deceived.
I only made it 10 mins in until conservative propaganda made me turn it off. Lol all of the scientists are lying about facts. Atleast in this fictional world they actually are, but every republican out there is cheering on buck as he questions scientists because they dont believe in global warming or covid. Shame they had to put politics in a movie about God.
And in the books, Nicolai didn't have "superpowers" until about the time he's killed & resurrected in his wannabe bastardized version of Christ's salvation.
Like the original movies they made look like he was some kind of super villain who survived a bomb instead of "it's not time yet for this to happen" or "his charm & deception is what's getting him to where he's supposed to be.
It's a trash version of the books. I loved the books. This is not it! Instead, Sorbo made a right-winged conspiracy-wet dream of a movie that obviously has an agenda other than celebrating the books and Jesus.

Because I had never seen the original by this name I searched and found that Prime Video has the series. I also found that the 2014 Left Behind with Nicholas Cage is sort of a remake of the same from 2001 with Kirk Cameron. What I realized after watching both is that the remake does not include very important material and information. So I have a question: Will Rise of the Antichrist be watered down also?

Don't be too sure. What puzzles me is the Pre-Trib rapture folks also believe that the "restrainer" in 2 Thess, is the Holy Spirit. But if the Holy Spirit is removed, and the Saints are removed, and Jesus doesn't return to the world until the end of the Tribulation, then who are the Tribulation Saints? And how were they saved?
I like the idea of the preacher who prayed to stay and share the word after the Rapture. Believe me, that is a truer faith than wanting to be lifted out before the church will truly be needed in this world.

Then ask "Why would God leave those who have been justified by Faith and have peace with God(Rom5:1)", to face his wrath? Will God destroy the righteous with the wicked(Genesis 18:23"? Who was God talking to in Revelation 3:10?
@@dray4393 The 144,000 are Jewish people who are clean and never laid with a woman. You should also recognize that the wrath of God occurs upon the return of Christ before the 1000 year reign - also know as the Day of the Lord as referenced throughout scripture. A question for you now:
2 Thess 1-4 states very clearly that Christ's second coming and the gathering (rapture) cannot happen until many other events occur, including the revelation of the Antichrist.
How can you reconcile that?
Also, Revelation 20 clearly states the time of the fist resurrection (before the 1000 year reign) to be followed by the second resurrection (judgment day). "Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection."
How can there be another resurrection, if scripture states there are only the two? Are you telling me that scripture isn't true, because of a third resurrection?
@@dray4393 Revelation 2-3 were specific letters written to specific churches (ekklesia - Gr. for 'assemblies"). I understand they were also intended as warnings for future assemblies and the Body of Christ as a whole. Verse 3:10 mentions "the hour of trial" which as we know occurs at the second resurrection followed by the great trial of judgment. believers will be spared that judgment as paralleled in other scriptural references.
Some say the "church" isn't mentioned after Revelation 3, however, "Saints" are mentioned chapter after chapter after chapter. Have you ever wondered how that could happen when there is no "church" there to bring along "new" Saints?
