Best one I've seen yet!!! Wow!
lemme know when these don't cost as much as a new car
Are you saying you do not have an extra $35,000 laying around from all your hard work?
Looks nice. I bought my Honda insight car fully loaded for 23k with 6000 miles on it. A lawnmower for 27k? I'll pass.
😂😂🤣🤣😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I dont see any grass clippings being discharged. Where do they come out at.
It seems to leave alot of leaves behind does it have a bag
What do the battery packs cost, per battery? Thanks for the video
It’s a secret
How does it plug in to charge? In a standard wall outlet?
There is a charging brick that plugs into the unit and a standard 120v wall outlet
On my mowers now, I'm able to throttle down to get the deck blades much slower, for various reasons. If there's stones, rocks, mud,. I want to still be able to slow down the tip speed.
It is not variable but it does have an eco-mode that lowers blade speeds based on load.
@@Carlsmower thank you
Dude that was awesome! I had the same feeling when I saw the first Tesla roadster at a drag strip! Cool cool cool! Thanks for making this video
Thanks for watching, Stewart! You nailed the feeling- lol!
@@Carlsmower 5/26/21, If that's what you want, good 4u! The problem is Big Gov't wants to take away your options; it's this or nothing! This isn't America. Worse yet: those elements & components for manufacture are coming from overseas while Americans lose their jobs &/or go on the dole.
@@prestonweitersjr.9460 I work in manufacturing. Let me tell ya, Americans don't want the jobs. They've been leaving in droves. Times are a changing, like it or not.
I want one! How long do the battery's last? How is the warrantee?
Batteries have a 3 year warranty. Mower 5 years or 1500 hours whichever comes first.
Do you have to have all 4 batteries in? Or can it run with 2 or 3.
You are able to run on 2 batteries.
@@Carlsmower thank you
I need to know what deck size and mower would be good for 10 acres with rough terrain, that won’t beat me up.
60 or bigger and a full commercial machine. In Gravely I’d look at a 200 series or 600 series. The 272 is a great machine.
Scag 60" tiger cat or turf tiger 72"
Gravely 460 or 600

" It's super quiet!!!" LMAO!!!!
Give it to copper creek cuts!
Sounds loud to me! Nice without the blades going though!
Air movement does create noise. It is a pleasure to mow with. Way quieter, less vibration, and comfortable ride.
Really like the E-ZT mowers as a commercial lawn mowing business they are not cost effective yet for me. The buy in cost is too high , I already own ZT’s that cost less than $8500, they are paid for and they product a great profit margin. Other than being curious and wanting to go greener there is no incentive. I can appreciate that going green is the future but as a blue collar middle class small business owner I won’t take the risk on expensive untested tools, send me one and you can change my mind!!
I just looked them up ....28k 😆😆
No Offence but who in their right mind will spend $32,000 on a mower, That's $10,000 and $15,000 More than top top 2 Commercial mowers. AND has 10-16 HP less AND 2 MPH less speed than the top 2 commercial electric ZTS mowers, Mean Green and Greenworks??? WHAT in the World !!!!!!!
Not to mention you can only mow for 4-5 hours then you have to wait 6 hours to recharge
Our corrupt government that's who. Trying to kill us hard working men by trying to make us use that junk. I'll get out of the lawn maint business if i had to use that crap.
How much does this mower cost
Depending on configuration. Around $30,000
@@Carlsmower 5/26/21, This is but 1 of my concerns about e-machines. We're getting the Hard Sell on this [green] business; "e-tron" Audi, Hummer trk, ~$100K; now Ford F-150, Mach-E, Tesla Cybertruck.....now this. As a cordless tool user I can tell you (I'm sure you know as well) those batteries cost most of the money. E-mower, $30K? Not2day! I just got a new Gravely ZTX42, great machine.
50 lb batteries. I'm 75, how can I use this
A 5 gallon gas can weighs what 45+ lbs right?
@@Alongfortheride693 that’s fine. It’s not for everyone. Some like cheese on their burger some don’t. 😁
I work for Procter & Gambler and they use battery powered forklift and they have alot of problems with them.
I'm surprised how noisy it seems with the blades engaged. Not really too much different than a gas powered zero turn mower.
The blades move a lot of air and air movement does make noise. I will tell you it is significantly quieter.
they wont sell any at 27k LOL!! what are they thinking . A battery hooked to electric motors is old tech.
Who the heck is going to pay that much for a mower only when you can get a nice tractor for that. Gimme a break.
Half that price and I would buy one…. Ford lightning pro model with 100 kWh battery cost under $40,000…..
Buy the Ego ZT Pro and extra $1000 batteries. Tough machine.
I don't see the efficiency of this lawnmower
Because of extra cost of extra batteries
And external charger and
Shut up and take my money LOL
mower for the rich.
funny he said no noise but when he started the blades it's like a chopper. 😅
Sounds like the cameraman is about to pass out the entire video…geez
Ridiculous price!! It’s a ZT HD that cost $5,500 with a suspension seat and ROPS added. Should not cost more than $10k about the price of a new electric golf cart 🤔
I think they are trying to recoup all of the research and development costs in the first year of this being out for sale. This Mower is ridiculous at this price!!
31k$. C’mon!
It’s a big price to pay. Something that we will have to come to grips with as more places follow California’s lead and say no gas. It should save you $9000+ in gas
@@Carlsmower we cannot let the tards in California run the United States. Before you know it, they are going to outlaw water cannons and automatic fill and shoot water rifles, 😆!
Looks like no one is beating Ego @ $5,000
You can easily double the amount of grass you can cut per hour with the Gravely over the Ego, and it will hold up a lot better over time.
I just got a new Gravely ZTX42....All total $4089.13. Luv this thing!
@@joeking433 I’m a dealer for both Ego and Gravely. You’re right 2 totally different machines. You can cut about 5x the grass on the Gravely as the Ego. You’re also comparing a residential mower comparable to a Lowe’s (yellow deck) John Deere to a fully commercial mower. As a side note I’ll end this by saying I’ve never sold the Gravely EV ($28k) but I’ve sold every Ego ($5k) I was able to get this year.
@@Reid0225 That's how commercial stuff goes. I'm waiting to see what happens in the battery powered zero turn market. The Ego looks pretty good, do you think anything that cuts maybe 48" and goes a little longer per charge is coming on the market?
@@joeking433 our distributor said that there have been talks about offering a 48, but it all depends on how sales go for the current 42 in 2022 season. 2021 is a wash for the mower there were very limited numbers produced for the 2021 release due to covid. So if it happens I would imagine it would be 2023 at the earliest. Just my opinion knowing how they operate.
These ev's are so pricey with less moving parts. Give it a few years for the market to even out. Should see prices drop.
It will be interesting to see this play out
If I paid someone $300 to mow my yard, I could get them to mow it 95 times for that bargain price!
The last thing I'm worried about is annoying a Karen.
How much did they pay you? Just do a normal review
Not a dime. 😃
It’s just a cool new machine. Might be right for someone but not for everyone.
$27k. No thanks. Can't imagine what one battery costs
where did you get the price?
You couldn't pay me to waste my money on a battery power lawn tractor. You'll easily pay 2/3 more with less inch cut. Besides, I can only imagine the cost of each of those batteries. There as good as Joe Biden.
No thanks.
Junk. Gas powered is the standard for a reason
Sounds like you want one
The reason is inertia. This unit doesn't look like it would suit me for a variety of reasons, but it makes me excited for the future. There is nothing nice about the sound of a mower engine and it just smells and makes me smell too.
Not for long. The car companies are phasing out ICE run cars and mower companies won't be far behind.
@@joeking433 Tell me: where's all this power coming from?
@@stizuart How excited will you be when the power goes out & you got nothing else?
NOBODY will buy that turd for $33,000!!!!
