  • Recently, Signia released an updated version of their app. A few patients have had a bit of trouble with the update, so this is a video to walk you through deleting the old version of the app, then downloading the new version, and getting paired again.

Thank you for creating this video. As a fellow clinician, this video has been incredibly helpful to show clients how to reconnect everything when they can’t come in to the clinic. You’re very clear and you cover things that aren’t in other videos that I’ve looked for.

Thanks, that means a lot to me. I'm so glad it's been beneficial for you and your patients. (We also have one on android.) Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this video. I recently had to replace my left hearing aid and I was not able to pair it with my iPhone. This video showed me how to do that by "starting over". Very helpful and saved me a trip in to see the audiologist.

Awesome step by step video! I recently upgraded to a iPhone 14Plus and tho I transfered all the data from my iPhone 7Plus to my 14plus I was having problems with the new iphone, it didn't pick up my Bluetooth hearing aids settings and show "not connected", tho the Signia app was part of the data transfer from the former iphone. I figured I had to reinstall the app on my new iphone but wanted to ck via RUclips first to make sure I followed all the steps accurately.
I did just that and VIOLA!!.....within a few minutes I had the app and my bluetooth hearing aid settings on my iphone 14plus. Thank you for an informative and clear video. :)

Usually transfering data will move all your apps, but it can't take the bluetooth pairing for the hearing aids. I think it's not a bad idea to just reinstall it onto the new phone, and then do a fresh pairing. I'm glad you got it to work!

It definitely solves a lot of issues to just delete the hearing aids from the phone and then re-pair them with the phone and app.

I have a Signia charge and go. I take it you cannot turn the aids off with the app?

Can you pair them to an ipad and an iphone at the same time?

If you want to use it with an iPad and an iPhone simultenously, you'll have to disable bluetooth on one of the devices. (You may even have to delete and pair them each time. They are really only meant to be used with one device). Let us know how it turns out!

You may need to delete and reinstall the app. There have been several updates that have caused some minor issues for us, but reinstalling usually seems to help. You may also need to visit your Audiologist and have your firmware updated on the hearing aids. I hope that helps!

I just received my earpieces back from the local supplier after service and unfortunately it is no longer possible to adjust the volume level separately for each piece.
I ve reinstalled the app, reconnected the earpieces several times but my iphone keeps discovering both earplugs as one device.
Have tried to (hard) reset the earpieces but there are no instructions on the web about it.
    Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

We'd recommend deleting the hearing aids from the iphone by going to Settings->Accessibility->Hearing Devices. You can select the device, then hit "forget" and pair them over again. You may also want to try deleting the Signia App entirely and reinstalling it. If you've tried this, then you may need to take them to your Audiologist and have them update the firmware and see if they can get them paired for you. Signia has recently released new software and firmware updates, and sometimes it takes deleting and starting over. Best of luck to you!

@@BigHornBasinHearingandSpeechThank you very much for your answer! I ve done everything you mention here several times but the problem persists. I guess it is a firmware related issue so i am gonna have to send them back to the supplier.

@@dimplat1689 I hope you're able to get it resolved quickly. Be sure your iphone's IOS has updated as well! Sorry you're having trouble with them!
