I have just been supplied with these . The setting facility is amazing. I was echoing I increased the volume in one ear ..echoing gone. I'm in the really early days of my brain adjusting. I'm already impressed. Thankyou to our NHS in conjunction with Chimes UK and of course Signia .
Excellent video. I have had difficulty with this hearing aid for almost 3 years now and I hated it. I now understand the functionality much better. Excellent description of the settings particularly for android phones. My major hearing issue is understanding, not so much hearing too low. Your speech for me was perfect, no distortion at all, and English is not my first language. I understood perfectly every word, and if I had any doubt then closed captioned was available, but I had no need to use. Thank you!
Just purchased Signia premium hearing aids and the Bluetooth connection keeps going in and out. So frustrating! Not sure what to do. Also we want to pair with iPhone and iPad and that doesn’t seem to be working.
So when they released this app they bricked the Signia easytek app. I spent countless hours communicating with Signia trying to get them to understand that the easytek app no longer showed the directional hearing options. I wear Cellion Primax 7px and use the easytek controller. After they released the app they stopped supporting easytek and said I had to use the Signia app. The signia app forces me to have the media on (cannot have do not disturb on to adjust in app) and it also does not have the spatial configuration for my hearing aids. So thanks a lot Signia for taking my $5000.00 and bricking the app and causing me to lose the most important feature of my hearings aids in less than 5 years.
I couldn't agree more!! I paid a lot of money for my hearing aids that were supposed to have directional microphones, which are indispensable in restaurants and other noisy environments. Now I can't control the directional microphones because the Signia app won't let me do that!!!
Mark, I just recieved my Signia AX7s recently and was a former Phonak M9 wearer. In the Signia manual for the AX units it mentions a "standby mode" available from the app.. This is probably comparable to the Oticon Mute mode ,very handy when mowing the lawn for example without shutting off the devieces. Other than the manual I can find no further reference or control in the app? Also at the top bar of the app there is a BT symbol and a Batt symbol , when selected they both bring up the same screen. I emailed Signia through the app but no response yet! Thanks for any help.
Thank you, Mark , for this complete and easy to understand video. One of the great benefits is that I can stream any audio from the Samsung S22 phone to my Signia rechargeable hearing aids. I love it! Have installed the app also on Samusung Tab A8. Hearing aids are paired but I no audio. Is it not possible because this Samsung TabA8 is Wi'Fi only? I don't hear a "click" when I try to adjust the directional microphones. Don't know whether this feature is working until I find myself in a public place, where there is lots of background noise. And then, of course, it's too late! The new Signia app is a total piece of crap and I wish there was a way I could download the old app, but I can't.
Please tell Signia to make this function to control a CROS system! With a CROS you can do nothing but slide volume of “active” ear and adjust bass/treble. It shows 2 sliders to control each but the control does not adjust level of the sound input of the CROS side. The Directionality feature is not even visible. No “Signia Assistant” either. I have an iphone 13 pro with the most recent iOS and the most recent Signia update. It’s not me being doddering. The functions are just nonexistent for a CROS.
Frustrated. My wife received a QR code but nothing happens when scanned. It says to first open the Signia app but I do not see any QR code reader. Wish the audiologist had taken the time to show her.

Same thing happened to me, only I did not discover this until I was out in a very noisy place with a lot of background noise and realized I could not control the directional mikes, or the volume! When I went to see the audiologist, he said something about how some automatic update had been downloaded on my cell phone. And something that he described as a "little technical glitch" caused the directional control to disappear. Well that "little technical glitch" put me through two weeks of hell!!!
My signia app doesn't have the assistant or the directional mic. Even though it is supposed to have these features. I suspect i was never activated in Connexx when first set up.

I can use this program to make calls but I the app doesn’t allow me to change to this program when I have an incoming call either before I answer the call or during the call. I have an iPhone 6

When using the iPhone App, my Signia CROS hearing aids turn off on the CROS side when I go out of the AUTO mode and into the directional mode. The CROS side only works while in the AUTO mode. Is this the way they are suppose to work?

Have you tested the Oticon More 1? If so, which is better for signal to noise ratio loss, the Oticon or the Signia Stiletto? I find background voices and noise a real problem. Right now I am using the Oticon More 1 Rite R but can still return and switch to something else.
On Styletto are you able to set up on Manual mode so does not interfere with a car Bluetooth due to Handsfree laws. Also can you set up bluethood just on an iPad. Will styletto and app allow both connections?

Is there a work around to set styletto thru bluethooth then turn off the Bluetooth on the aid to operate manually? I noticed app has a manual mode?

I have a Signia Pure Charge & Go 31X purchased in May 2024. I have the current Signia app on my iPad -- no bass/treble option, no direction ability option, no program switching option. Min volume is still too high. Hearing aids do not connect to WIN 10 laptop (laptop finds them, but will not connect) or other Bluetooth devices. Very disappointed in this product.
There is a function on the app that allows sound to stream into my ears through my IPhone. This is a function you can use in a meeting etc. Do you know how to access that function?
Thanks for the tutorial! I have just downloaded the app and paired my hearing aids. I understood that i would be able to hear mobile phonecalls via bluetooth, i.e. without holding the phone to my ear. Just tried it, though, and was not able to hear via the hearing aids. What am i missing?
Hi Claudia, we also struggled to use these hearing aids with Android to hear phone calls or even music. We connected/paired them successfully using the app, but cannot hear phone calls *directly* through the hearing aids. However, when we tried iPhone, it worked very well. I think that these are not actually compatible with some Android phones, despite what the company advertises.
The 7ax requires a iPhone 12 or higher to work correctly I have the 3ax units connected to a iPhone 11 and the connection is trash hard to hear the call and audio if listening to music or a video
One would think that a hearing aid company would know that hearing disabled persons have a particularly difficult time deciphering accents!! Just one more indication that this company doesn't give a S***T about its customers!!!!
Can't understand a word he's saying. I understand different people have accents but please have someone who speaks clear english. Seems like everytime you look up something technical on You Tube it's usually a foreigner speaking.
On the off chance that you're not trolling: There is no such thing as a foreigner. Nearly seven million people in the state of Victoria (Australia) sound exactly like Mark, and would call YOU a foreigner (and might have trouble understanding your speech). Mark is trained to speak clearly (which he does), and he lives, works, and studied in an English-speaking country. He holds Masters of Clinical Audiology and Bachelor of Applied Science degree from La Trobe University. So, respectfully, what qualifies YOU to call HIM a "foreigner"?
@@BerkeleyBass as I said in my comment, hearing disabled persons have a problem with "foreign" accents. With this in mind, when a You-Tube video is specifically directed to hearing disabled persons, there should perhaps be different videos --- one for Australians, one for English, one for Americans, etc. This would be considerate and take into consideration the unique needs of hearing impaired persons. As a society, we make all kinds of accommodations for people with other disabilities. But nobody seems to be willing to do the least thing to accommodate the needs of hearing disabled individuals --- we are left to fend for ourselves, and if we have difficulties hearing someone, WE are always the ones to be blamed! If this video is directed to American hearing impaired customers, then a native American speaker should be the one giving it!!!! That's the only sensible thing to do and if Signia gave a rat's ass about any of it's customers, they would do that!

How do you save the volume? The volume keeps going back down to 8 when we are trying to keep it at 13.
For anyone wondering, you can't, changes made are temporary. Visit your hearing care professional to permanently adjust the volume.

I have the Signia Pure Charge & Go 2X. I don’t feel as though they are working properly. The hearing specialist program them, but I don’t understand what’s going on when I wear them. What can I do to test for myself to hear if they’re working in my favor?
They need to do a a real ear measurement test in them to make sure they’re working and meeting your prescription

how can I get audiologist to get my hearing aid to adjust right sound I been going back and forth trying get this fix when I go to church it is very loud the band I can only hear the band and not words I'm struggling with this I have turn down to 0 can used hd music too loud and other too I go down to 1 and still too loud I pay lot money for better hearing aid yes I'm frustration with this not happy I need to higher without audiologist I want go straight to signia
I have the c&g 3ax and the blue tooth connection is terrible poor volume and short range for being away from your phone I find 20 feet is where the phone cuts off from my phone it’s annoying asf

I have a Signia Pure Charge & Go 31X purchased in May 2024. I have the current Signia app on my iPad -- no bass/treble option, no direction ability option, no program switching option. Min volume is still too high. Hearing aids do not connect to WIN 10 laptop (laptop finds them, but will not connect) or other Bluetooth devices. Very disappointed in this product.
There is a function on the app that allows sound to stream into my ears through my IPhone. This is a function you can use in a meeting etc. Do you know how to access that function?

Just put live listen on and let the iPhone in front of the speaker you will receive the sound in your ears.

Thanks for the tutorial! I have just downloaded the app and paired my hearing aids. I understood that i would be able to hear mobile phonecalls via bluetooth, i.e. without holding the phone to my ear. Just tried it, though, and was not able to hear via the hearing aids. What am i missing?
Hi Claudia, we also struggled to use these hearing aids with Android to hear phone calls or even music. We connected/paired them successfully using the app, but cannot hear phone calls *directly* through the hearing aids. However, when we tried iPhone, it worked very well. I think that these are not actually compatible with some Android phones, despite what the company advertises.

The 7ax requires a iPhone 12 or higher to work correctly I have the 3ax units connected to a iPhone 11 and the connection is trash hard to hear the call and audio if listening to music or a video
Your Sssssss sound is accentuated because your mic is too close to your mouth or maybe it’s a bad microphone.
One would think that a hearing aid company would know that hearing disabled persons have a particularly difficult time deciphering accents!! Just one more indication that this company doesn't give a S***T about its customers!!!!

On the off chance that you're not trolling: There is no such thing as a foreigner. Nearly seven million people in the state of Victoria (Australia) sound exactly like Mark, and would call YOU a foreigner (and might have trouble understanding your speech). Mark is trained to speak clearly (which he does), and he lives, works, and studied in an English-speaking country. He holds Masters of Clinical Audiology and Bachelor of Applied Science degree from La Trobe University. So, respectfully, what qualifies YOU to call HIM a "foreigner"?
@@BerkeleyBass as I said in my comment, hearing disabled persons have a problem with "foreign" accents. With this in mind, when a You-Tube video is specifically directed to hearing disabled persons, there should perhaps be different videos --- one for Australians, one for English, one for Americans, etc. This would be considerate and take into consideration the unique needs of hearing impaired persons. As a society, we make all kinds of accommodations for people with other disabilities. But nobody seems to be willing to do the least thing to accommodate the needs of hearing disabled individuals --- we are left to fend for ourselves, and if we have difficulties hearing someone, WE are always the ones to be blamed!
If this video is directed to American hearing impaired customers, then a native American speaker should be the one giving it!!!! That's the only sensible thing to do and if Signia gave a rat's ass about any of it's customers, they would do that!
