I just got these 2 weeks ago. My first ones ever. Mine do have a find my hearing aids. That much I know. lol. Still in learning mode with a great audiologist. Thank you for this. I must check out the assistant.
I now own a pair of these hearing aids and found your review to be helpful and spot on. I would add one draw back to taking a call using the hearing aids forces you to keep the phone out to pick up the conversation. This was hard to get used to as I usually have the phone in the pocket or find myself walking away from it altogether. I'm still trying to work on the sound quality as I am getting the sound through an air conditioner feel at the moment. Perhaps I'll work through the hearing assistant as you suggested. Really appreciate the review!
The hearing assistant could definitely be helpful but you should also talk to your audiologist. They should have the ability to make remote updates without another trip into the clinic. Good luck and thanks for the comment!
I’m a new owner. I am surprised that there are not more videos on personal experience with the aids and the app. I loaded the app but am not clear on how to use it or my IPhone.
Great, great video ! I am shopping for hearing aids. Thinking I might settle for AX/IX as conversation hearing aids, and thinking of owning a second (!) pair - Widex, which has a better reputation as a Musician's/music lovers hearing aid. Wonder if my brain will explode form having to adjust to 2 different "platforms" ( but in different circumstances ... Any thoughts? )
That’s an interesting idea! My guess is that you will have a better time with a solid music program in your Signia devices vs switching back and forth. If you decide to try two at the same time you likely will have to spend some time in both to get used to their sound. Maybe this is something you can experiment with in a trial phase
I just got new Signia aids. Two audiologists have been unable to fix a problem I am having. They work great for awhile, and then they start sounding garbled. Sometimes, after a full charge or restart the aids go back to sounding perfect. I like how perfectly they work when they are functioning correctly. Both audiologists want me to switch brands and think the problem is with me, or that my brain doesn't work well with the signia chip. I don't agree. What do you think?
I've had exactly this experience - only a couple of times. Charging the devices has always been the trick. Definitely not a problem with you! I'm not sure there's a clear solution and if you like the sound-quality it might just be something you have to restart once in awhile. I've found that if I keep the charge case really full, or plugged in, it's less likely to happen.
@HearSoundly I stayed with these, and after a while, it stopped happening. I found the answers to be, keeping a full charge and changing the tips. There can be buildup that you can't see.
Music quality in hearing aids definitely varies depending on the dome style you use. Can you share any more about what you are noticing? Would love to hear.

Try the Resound Nexia. I prefer it over the Signia.
Nothing but Probleme with my Signia !!

I prefer the resound nexia.
Do the updates bring them to feature parity with the lumity? e.g. automatic environment switcher
What's 1X5?
I need. Sonia Avtive
What’s IX 7
IX 7 is Signia’s top technology level.
Music quality isn’t great

I have these with ear molds.I do think the music sounds good
@@HearSoundly initially it was very tinny sounds but I got my audiologist to tune it again ! It sounds a lot better! Also got a tighter fitting dome
