If you dont care about the bleed affinity on the venomous fang, at high arcane an occult affinity actually gives you more poison build up than poison affinity due to the much better arcane scaling, plus it has higher base damage
60 Arcane goes too far for this purpose as Arcane drops-off past 45 for weapon statuses (per wiki). You could drop those 15 points into Dex (more direct damage - even more on Poison Claws - B scaling, faster casting...) and if you drop Vigor to 50 you can pump Dex to 45 base. Since the build plays single source physical damage, this change also goes well against flat enemy defenses. I'd also diversify the damage a bit more - like Millicent's Prosthesis instead of Shattered Stone (unless you play Dane's Footwork). It's impossible to proc poison on many enemies so you might be more versatile not entirely depending on the proc and pumping more into R1 autos while still maintaining very serious damage on the skill. Whether it does 5k or 6.5k damage is IMO not such a big difference in real gameplay compared to the losses this build suffers everywhere else to pump the damage as high as possible.
@hunterwarlick739 what are your current stats? I've been running the dry leaf arts with palm blast and the cold affinity. It's been working well and palm blast completely shreds with the right talismans. I've seen people say palm blast doesn't work well and doesn't flow with the movement of the regular attacks but if you know your timing and know how to use it it works beautifully
I just tried this build but instead of using bleed I put cold on it, it procs frost so fast then I switch my hands to the build in the video, thus debuff from frost then poison, bleed, and rot all hitting.

For farming Divine Bird, getting into Enir-Ilim may lock people out of some NPC quests. For this, the best farming spot would be using the Site of Grace outside of Romina's arena, mount Torrent, head towards th cliff nearby, jdouble ump towards the Gazebo roof, drop down, and kill the Divine Bird nearby. Be sure to drop FROM THE GAZEBO ROOF and not directly from the cliff because that's already too high and will kill you.
I've been using a similar build and love it. I put the ash on Milady, the heavy attacks hit twice so it applies poison reasonably quickly with a *lot* more range (and style). I have a secondary weapon with bleed to finish off bosses while rot and poison tick away - enemies gain resistance to statuses every time one is activated so saving bleed until the end means I can burst bosses down a bit faster when it counts. I kinda suck at the game and so made my build a lot more defensive with a shield and different talismans. For me it feels just right; not so overpowered that fights become boring, not so weak that I get frustrated with the game, and detonating poison is just so satisfying.
I've been running a build thats almost exactly like this since day 1 but I have a crippling addiction to the Dryleaf Arts, you get the full 1h attack chain even on L1 and Poisoned Hand in the main hand means your "default" L2 is a move that will basically poison any enemy in one or two hits, then a quick swap to 2h the Arts (who's running and jumping R2's work wonderfully with this setup) and things just melt. You can certainly still set Dryleaf Arts to bleed, but Occult deals more base damage and frees up a talisman slot for Claw Talisman/Millicent's/etc.
If you haven't tried it then do, its strong. I was using a similar build and it chunks, and i haven't collected all the items used to make it even stronger. It's not bloodfiend level, but me and everyone else is pretty sure it's gonna get hit hard with nerfs
For the divine bird armor farm I found it easier to go left from the church of the bud grace and do a run jump with my horse onto the roof and then drop from the roof to your right.
I was just testing this last night, but for some reason I found that leg piece actually decreased the dmg of the skill, Think it might be bugged. I try multiple times the dmg is way lower with the leg piece compare to even not wearing any leg armor.
You are correct! I just confirmed this. Tested on an Albinauric at the farming spot. 1540 without greaves, or with any other greaves. 1228 with the bird greaves. The kick talisman DOES work though. But, the Claw Talisman, Raptors's Black Feathers, or Gravebird's Armor DOES NOT buff this. Does not count as a jump attack.
iirc the coding for both the jump attack armors are such that you have to have either hit the jump input then attack input, or that you have to be in a falling animation + attack input to trigger the damage boost. Otherwise it could be abused for anything that puts you in the air + does damage, like several of the dragon incants for example.
I've got a similar build, but it uses the Antspur Rapier and Estoc; I use the Rotten Winged Sword and power-stance rapiers for a damage boost instead of the Poison Hand. Might not be as optimal as your build but I like the dual thrusting sword move set.

It's garbage at meta level. He is overleveled in the gameplay. Most of rages builds are copied cheesed builds or his own garbage creations. He does the same for diablo 4
I added scarlet aeonia to this build just for that extra scarlet rot buildup. I usually start of boss fights with it and inflict scarlet rot first to get that buff and then just dominate with the other statuses😭 for summons, i usually pick black knife tiche just because his tick damage stacked with poison and scarlet rot tick DESTROYSSS the bosses health bar

My friend dropped me the antspur rapier and the rotten battlehammer/greataxe on a new character so I could play the whole game as a rotten gladiator and it was a blast! Poison flower blooms twice is way better then Poison moth flight although mothflight giving the pokey rapier a slash attack had its merits before I got this sweet new ash.
I used the dry leaf arts since its my favorite. But oh my gosh this set up is insane! I didn't even have all the equipment like the crown but I still managed to finally kill Bayle!
I just want to give a shout out to you and all the others who continue to create these incredible builds! I don't know how you all figure these out but please continue. Each and every one of you are Elden Ring Rock Gods!

This bull I’m using same build. You be lucky to get few kicks off Mesmer. He constantly moving like crazy spamming. , you forget to mention to every one about your “broken build” that you have to be good at dodging in order to even use this against a good boss smh 🤦🏽♂️
I played the same build too! I preferred Dane’s Footwork since all of its attacks gets boosted by the Divine Bird Grieves. I also used the Gravebird chest piece since it boosts my jumping attacks (unfortunately it doesn’t boost the Ash of War, even though it totally should) Some bosses are immune to poison/rot so I keep the Poison Perfume weapon on hand. Its skill creates a poison cloud around you, so I use it to inflict myself with poison to get all of the buffs from the mushroom crown, talisman, and poisoned hands. I didn’t think to mix the build with Bleed or other status effects, I was too focused on trying to inflict Poison and Rot. So I’m definitely going to have fun experimenting with that later.
Made an absolute joke out of Commander Gaius with this build. Staying up his ass and popping PFBT whenever poison procced let me beat him in just over a minute.
This is the build i have been rocking but with an occult infusion on the venomous fangs with 70 arcane, i have wanted poison to work so bad in the base game and this ash has made it work
I've respecced to this build and it is super fun when you get the fat procs but it can be pretty frustrating on some of the bosses/mobs hitting them with the claws lol. I find myself spamming L2 more for those guys.
Yeah tbh this works jsut as well just poison, or on a single poison antspur. 2 hits or so of poison plus helps get the rot buildup quicker. The deadly poison with the rot is actually pretty effective on bosses.
You could also use bloodhounds claws! It’s not as much bleed buildup per hit, but it hits so fast that I don’t find much of a difference. I also just prefer the claw moveset.
Fav ash of war .. immediately went to shoot the fade with an old time friend at rauh ( the crucible hammer head ) that strike felt so good after parrying and knocking him down

I have a bleed character but dont really fancy the status playstyles compared to unga bunga, but as soon as I picked up this ash I knew someone was going to make a broken build with it haha
Similar to another build where you use the antspur rapier with poison mist and then an estoc with cold affinity/blood ash or vice versa, you can do 4 status effects simultaneously. Very tough to get all 4 to trigger in a fight but for some bosses it’s very cool.
I've been doing something similar with the poison perfume in one hand martial arts in the other and just two handing until poison procs and swapping and using the ashe. Only recently learned of the poison hand buff so was trying to figure out a new way

I've been using those legs in a bleed focused Dryleaf Whirlwind build in my NG+2 run. Kicking bosses to death is so much fun.

FYI the base damage of the kick is scaling to Arc so an Occult Venomous Fang would do much more damage.

Would the Gravebird's Blackquill Armor help? It enhances jumping attacks & the AoW is technically a jump kick.
Who knows, It might not be made to be registered as a Jumping attack. Though that is clever!

You can power stance with a 2nd estoc with seppuku to enable the bleed buff from the lord of blood talisman too!

PFBT consumes poison and scarlet rot and only deals the dmg once. Sounds kinda garbage to consume 30-36% max hp to deal 5%.

Double Nagakiba Right hand with the Ash. The left has poisonous mist to coat it and I can use the poison flower ash in my right.
