It used to be that all the money was in the big arms race during the Cold War. Now it's all about exploiting historical conflicts among emerging nations. The big arms race of development is replaced by races of acquisition of arms on both sides of many smaller conflicts. And they can sell arms which are mostly outdated on the global scene, and budget munitions from older stockpiles or the few munitions factories that haven't discontinued their tooling. And budget munitions don't reliably keep. So clients are forced to use up the munitions periodically and replace their stocks, or else it becomes unreliable and renders all the big hardware functionally useless. It's just too easy to get rich keeping impoverished nations in conflict. The money's too good -- there's always gonna be somebody willing to do that job for the right kind of cash.

If those tell you that you did a good job do you shy away from them and go all: Bro, you gay?
No toy guns in the home? Honestly, that's a refreshing idea. I myself only have a couple firearms, but no children. My wife and I have no plans to have any children due to my chronic and debilitating health issues. However, if I did have kids, I wouldn't want them playing with toy guns either, as I feel it could lead to the thought process that all guns are toys. Some may not agree with that, and feel they can teach their children about gun safety and the difference between real.and toy guns, and that's their prerogative. To each their own.
Right after the fall of the Soviet Union, there were tons of surplus Russian weapons left over. If he could have brought those guns to the USA he could have sold them for a few hundred, but selling to 3rd world countries over seas those weapons were never worth very much, especially with the number of arms dealers that were in business.
This is so ironic in this day and age. The amount of money being made in a conflict in Ukraine is insane. Also, they just released the guy who the movie was based on! LORD OF WAR is free again.
I really enjoyed this movie he's definitely not a likable character.... But at the same time there's a lot more truth to this movie then anyone wants to admit Great reactions
I was raised shooting I was taught to shoot at five and I was hunting helping to feed my family at six. By the time I was eight I had my own firearms a shotgun and rifle in my room with ammo. I also was allowed to have toy guns because I was smart enough to separate that one was real and dangerous and one was a toy.
If you ever want another movie that feels like a slap to the face. react to City of God, a brazilian movie based on a book, writen by a photojornalist telling his childhood living in one of Rio de Janeiro's favelas.
When you talked about aesthetically pretty people have nothing in their life but being pretty and just having a conversation with them you just want to hit your head against the wall pretty much summed up my interactions with hot girls in high school. There was only one girl that liked me and she was interesting and you could have an intelligent conversation with her. She was the one that got away
Garand Thumb just did a video on a Uzi purpose like weapon if you’re looking for it for use but if collecting nevermind ❤️ have you watched his videos and Black rifle Coffees videos? A great movie, but a big reminder how much I hate war and guns, or in case of guns at least what they represent. Lots of people in the US say: if you don't support it, don't buy from them. If you buy from these companies you are supporting them, even in a very very small way.

If those tell you that you did a good job do you shy away from them and go all: Bro, you gay?
@@Sure_Ruse_User My friends don't phrase their compliments in the gayest way possible.
To each their own.
such a great movie
Check out War Dogs, a 2016 film. One of the characters in the movie is based on a dealer who loved this film.
Right after the fall of the Soviet Union, there were tons of surplus Russian weapons left over. If he could have brought those guns to the USA he could have sold them for a few hundred, but selling to 3rd world countries over seas those weapons were never worth very much, especially with the number of arms dealers that were in business.
0:40 May I ask why you have so many Firearms? Is it for entertainment purposes or do you feel you need to defend yourself?
Such an underrated movie.
This is so ironic in this day and age. The amount of money being made in a conflict in Ukraine is insane. Also, they just released the guy who the movie was based on! LORD OF WAR is free again.
It's based on a real man too, Viktor Bout.
Unfortunately, he was released in a hostage deal between the US and Russia.
and hes now back to gun running again
Classic!
I really enjoyed this movie he's definitely not a likable character.... But at the same time there's a lot more truth to this movie then anyone wants to admit
Great reactions
His love interest is Bridget Moynahan from blue bloods and one of Tom Brady Ex wives.
Let's not forget this movie was based on Viktor Bout. The guy that got traded to Russia for a pothead
A washed up illegal arms dealer traded for an American who was severely over charged because the little dictator had his feelings hurt.
If you haven't seen it, I'd be willing to bet you'd like the movie "Thank You For Smoking."
Interesting time to watch it now that he's out of jail.
I like to pretend War Dogs is the sequel with Bradley Cooper playing Nic Cage's gun merchant a few years on
I get what you mean regarding toy guns, but airsoft is a great way to train for safe use of real firearms.
Bro after a HEAVY binge you have maybe 36 hours to get settled for 2 weeks of severe DRAG ASS.
If you haven't already, I recommend watching "The International(2009)". Clive Owen, Naomi Watts. Similar... strata of intrigue.
Nick Cage's best performance.
you should check out WAR DOGS...it is very similar to this, also based on true story. But yea, this movie is a hidden gem.
Garand Thumb just did a video on a Uzi purpose like weapon if you’re looking for it for use but if collecting nevermind ❤️ have you watched his videos and Black rifle Coffees videos? Matt Best has an amazing gun collection. Funniest video “tactics instructor Earl cribs episode” US Green Beret Evan Haffer owner of Black Rifle Coffee , he does a comedic bit on tactical instructors and has a million guns hidden in plain site at the home , it’s hillarious!
Hard to believe we traded the guy this movie is based on for a basketball player who disrespects the Flag and the USA.
haha yea my niece would get free stuff from stores for being so cute "aws she so cute here take this candy or stuffed anamial" would happen on the reg
The Ruger SR22 is a hammer fired .22lr
Kind of crazy that we traded the real life guy who this movie is based on for Brittney Griner
Great react.
Movie suggestion:
Nightcrawler 2014
ABSOLUTLY bad trigger control will not be allowed in My household.
Can't remember the specific scene, but the tanks in one shot were real.
Add the movie Kalashnikov (2020) to your viewing list.
War dogs also good movie also based off a true story, they are already out of jail even
FULL LENGTH REACTION IS AVAIL ON PATREON AT SECOND TIER .. www.patreon.com/MRLBOYD
Awesome movie
I think the opening scene is in Monrovia
A great movie, but a big reminder how much I hate war and guns, or in case of guns at least what they represent.
Lots of people in the US say: if you don't support it, don't buy from them. If you buy from these companies you are supporting them, even in a very very small way.
this movie is loosely based on victor bout , the bloke the yanks traded for that basketball player last year
Diamonds might be valuable, but they ain't rare
A theory is the narcotics replace or correct a chemical imbalance.
Remember that was Liberia lol American made with regular black folks lol
Man I've been getting smoked on bids the past 6 months or so... been eyeing a nice item and every time I get close I get beat out after following for days.... I guess it happens when you're hunting for a deal, my fault etc. But still the market is stiff rn, at least in the midwest
Got damn what timezone you in to upload this so late??
He's mentioned that he's in Spain, whatever that translates to
@@MikeS-ur2ql I thought he recently mentioned he was back in the states.
the editor took foreverrrrr to deliver
Great movie based on the life of Viktor Bout who was just traded to Russia by the US for the release of Brittney Griner.
Are you muting the words "gun", "firearm", "war", etc? I know youtube is cracking down on a bunch of that kind of content, and that whole conversation aside, this is basically unwatchable when every fourth word is muted. They're just words, accurate and representative.
