Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Kennedy. They were my mom's icons. If either of them graced a magazine cover, my mom bought it. When I got to be adult, she and I developed an "in" joke that they were her best friends. I'd ask, "Hey Mom, heard from Liz lately?" and she'd say something like, "Oh, you know; she's too busy with that latest husband of hers." LOL. Seriously, though, I don't think Elizabeth Taylor got enough credit for her acting because she was just so gosh darn beautiful. And she never went through a gawky phase; she was gorgeous from infancy right up 'til she died, though she did struggle with weight in her later years.
Elizabeth won two Academy awards too the first one in 1960 for the movie she hated Butterfield 8 and then in 1966 for Who's Afraid Of Virginia Wolf ?
Yes for Elizabeth Taylor but Kennedy ? Nah not a nice lady at all.

I grew up adoring this woman ever since I was 11 in 1956. She was the epitome of beauty and talent. Her passion for life, love, and AIDS cemented my adoration of her as a human being. Having had the privilege and honor of meeting her 3 times in my lifetime, ALL of my perceptions of her became realized. She was one in a million! RIP Dame Elizabeth. 💜
I so deserve this documentary. As, I am a Pisces and read her biography when I lived alone in Ireland. She is beyond comprehension and a SIREN! There will never be another like her.

Except Elizabeth could act. She was gorgeous and talented. Marilyn was just gorgeous. You may disagree, but watch some of her movies.

This is how lauded and universally admired a beauty she was. She was a beauty legend and icon. She was a great film actress. Stars like she simply don't exist any longer. Sounds like me. I first noticed her during March, 1961 when she almost died. That news was front page news. I wondered why was this person so important to get so much attention. It didn't take long to find out why. 😅 She won her first Oscar right after in April, 1961

She's been dead a long time. But I still miss her.

It's August 3rd... Where is it?! Not showing up on the app, and it should have dropped at 3 am like all the other shows/movies do.

She had poor health. She had addiction issues. In some ways those things made her more relatable.
I don't think she aged poorly. Everyone gets old. She was 79 when she died. What do you want her to look like?
