@@StefanMalloch The specs and titles are correct, the lenses behind the specs are not. You have the GM II on the left behind the GM I specs and vice versa.
I did own the 24-70 mark 1 but wasn't that impressed, when mark 2 was announced, no hesitation of upgrading and now not only impressed it's my most favourite and used Gmaster in terms of event photography.
The mark 2 has linear focus motors while the mark 1is focus-by-wire and you say there's no difference? At 00:29 the spec graphics are on the wrong lenses? Sorry, I can't trust this reviewer.
Which one is best for you?
Thanks Stefan. It would be nice to also see how the 24-70 II compares to the Tamron 35-150 in the 35-70 range.
Thanks for the video dude. But I'think at 00:32 the specs match the wrong lens, right?
Looks accurate to me
@@StefanMalloch thanks for the reply. Isn't the smaller one the GM II?

Which lens better results
GM ii is the better lens all around as expected.
The mark II is the greatest 24-70 2.8 lens I have used. My previous favorite being the Canon EF 24-70 2.8 II.
what differences does the greatest have the others do not? I am new to the field, can you elaborate a bit?
The newer one is definitely worth the money, if only compare to the older one.
For what exactly man?
thinking of upgrading to a full frame body mainly so I can pair with a GM ii. is there a similar quality lens for sony apsc camera?
You can use this gmii lense on sony apsc a600 series. Just consider there will be a 1.5x crop factor.
@@rickyjay10 planning to buy this on my a6000. I want to transition to fullframe. Will the FF camera compatible with my APSC lenses?

In your opinion, what made it so much better?
I might be blind, but the mark I looks better, especially at the wide end, where you would be taking astro shots.
Price of these two lenses?
£600 difference (refurbished)
Would you prefer a used without box 24-70 GM I than a new unused 24-105 F4 OSS for same price?
There seems to be very little noticeable difference between them. Certainly not enough to justify the huge jump in price.
Nice video bro😊 keep it up I am extremely happy to see it

he is clueless lol
Good bro
I use ziess 24-70 f4 , faster and lighter. GM just too heavy and slower focus.
Sigma?
